Curious Tales: from the Days Before the Flood

Rate this book
Short Stories with an element of mystery and biblical spirituality. The setting for each of these speculative accounts is from the time of Adam's creation to Noah's flood.

There is no attempt at presenting a totally historical account of events, only an effort to paint word pictures of what might have happened in the lives of a few folk from that time period. Some of the characters in the stories we know by name and others are fictitious, but all of the speculative accounts are well within the realm of reason.
Each account is an attempt to illustrate a larger theme that, hopefully, will cause further thought and study by the reader. While there are often numerous lessons in each story, a single major theme is presented in each… a theme when contemplated and delved into, should bring readers to a better knowledge of both God and themselves.
The element of mystery has been placed in each "tale" in order for readers to be better engaged with the story and the spiritual lessons it brings. Hopefully, that mysterious element will make the brief time it takes to read each account an enjoyable few minutes.
