Some people are lucky enough to escape Askergan County. Others, however, are not so fortunate. Others still are destined to return to the County, even if it means that they are unlikely to ever get out again...
The last thing the surviving Lawrence family members want to do is return to the place that stole so much from them. But for a select few, the desire to find answers to what happened six years ago in the blizzard is as unrelenting as the snow had been. And Corina Lawrence needs to know...
Upon her return, Corina quickly finds out that things have changed in Askergan.
But not for the better.
Four boys have unwittingly unleashed an ancient evil, one that the Lawrence family is intimately familiar with. Only this time, the horrors that left the Lawrence family and the Police Department battered are no longer confined to one house. This time, the horrors have infected the entire County, and it's up to a cripple and an alcoholic to try and put an end to it once and for all... before the town and all of its residents succumb to a parasite that wont be content until it has consumed the flesh of every last man, woman, and child.
Flesh is the third book in the gritty horror-thriller series Insatiable. If you enjoy a fast-paced story centered on emotionally-flawed characters, then you will enjoy Logan’s psychological exploration of how old demons are relentless; how scabs are but temporary coverings of deep-rooted flaws.
True story: I used to cut up bodies. No, not for fun, you sickos–for work. After reaching the age of majority and fleeing the clutches of an overprotective mother, I went to university like a good boy.
More than a decade later and an alphabet soup of letters after my name, I found myself looking down the double-chamber of a microscope at an eyeball. Feeling ironically introspective, I decided that it was time for a change.
After seventy plus novels and more than a million copies sold, I’ve found my true calling, one that also includes a plethora of letters. Hopefully you see something in my catalog that you like, something to feast your eyes on.
I also have two spooky podcasts that are appropriate for ALL ages, so long as you like to be scared: P.T. Logan's Five Minutes of Terror and Camp Fear. Both are FREE and available on all podcast platforms. For MATURE audiences, I've created two fiction podcasts, Nightmare Residue and Bad Priest.

I had read the first book and then forgotten about it. Read another book by this author, and the light bulb went on. Immediately read book 2, and have been kicking myself that I didn't read them sooner. I am now scared of cracking noises and crabs. These books are wonderfully creepy and scary. And a little sad. I love them!
I have read the first 3 books in the series in as many days, I think I'm obsessed! This is not my usual genre, but on a whim with kindle unlimited I figured why not? And I'm certainly glad I did! Again excellent writing and storytelling. I've already downloaded #4 and am going to start it right now!
This series is everything. I thought book 2 lagged a bit, but he definitely made up for it in book 3. Definitely a page turner and a horror fanatic's dream come true. I don't see how this isn't a movie yet. The description and details made my flesh crawl for sure. On to book 4.
Book 3 of the Insatiable series is just ad creepy and horrific as the first two books, if not more so. Author Patrick Logan amps up the fear factor with even more horrific death and destruction. Great characters, very human and life like with vivid descriptions makes for a great read.
I love this whole series. Each book is a little different so it doesn't get that stagnate feeling of being overdone. Once again, an action packed book with turns I didn't see coming. One in particular made me sad, but was still a great read.
The first book caught me and I had to continue the journey. The twists and turns of the plot were delicious and une expected. I love this genre, but after a while they can become predictable so I was especially pleased to be kept on edge. Thanks for sharing your phobias with me.
Was very action packed, nerve wracking and good! I had mixed feelings about the end but it was but it was okay. If you like horror you will like this trilogy but read in order!
