In TRUTH & CONSEQUENCES, the fourth book in the Miss Independent series, Sheila and Nathan come to terms with the current status of their relationship. Vanessa and Maurice attempt to make plans for the future despite outside interference. And as Nikki gets drawn back into her past life with Oscar, Melanie threatens to reveal the smoking gun that may keep them apart forever.
**Fair Warning** This book contains sexual situations, adultery, swearing, threats and scenes of violence. If any of that offends you as a reader, it might be best to skip over this book. However, if you've read the first three books in the series, you more than likely have a feel of what this book will be like as well.
I don't where to start first, this book was the bomb....It was well written and was definitely worth buying. It is a must read after book 1. I want to say the author kept the tone of the book the same as book 1. It was serious, it was funny and the DRAMA was to die for.
This was one of the best written book series I've read in awhile. I can't wait for book 3 to hit
These young ones have too much time on their hands for them to be coming up with all these shenanigans. Sh doesn't want you? Say what, that can't be, so you'll just come up with a plan involving playing all the involved against each other and use secrets to blackmail people to do your bid. Childish? Yeah, but then this story would be just bland.... I normally hate overdramatized books, but with these series, I keep laughing about the crazy things these twenty somethings are getting themselves into. There are still 2 books to come, I find that stretching it a bit, but if Kiki keeps being funny, I will keep reading.
(The first released version of this book was bad formatted and full of errors, because of technical issues. I'm glad Kiki took it out, dealt with the problems and re-released it. Much better.)
The fourth book in this series is just as good as the others with more drama and twists thrown in. I am team Mo. Vanessa is coming into her own with managing the fall out of the past without whining so much. I feel her character is growing and she is trying to push through and deal with the drama as it unfolds. I really think Shelia needs to live her own life and stop bringing more drama to V. Nathan still needs another beat down. This dude just cannot learn. He's too selfish and all caught up in everything being about him. Melanie needs to get a clue and get her own man. Nikki got what she deserved, although William did take it to the extreme. SPOLER - Adrian's roommate is V's dad. WTF!
This was absolutely the most drama I have ever read in one book. That is saying a lot, A LOT. It wasn't a train wreck it was a meteor shower followed by an alien attack. Melanie was so pathetic trying to get with Mo when knew he loves V. Nathan, good Lord man, you are a constant disaster. Just go somewhere and sit down. Nikki gets what she deserves I think, although that was OTT. She doesn't care about anyone but herself. There is a book after this so its not over yet.
I'm really disappointed with this book kimi leach didn't get a chance to read far because the book wasn't fully finished it didn't have any chapter in it it was repeating the same thing over again.
