Great book for old time baseball fans. It’s worth five stars for those of us in that category. Still a good read for younger folks who may not have heard of most of the former players. Very well written short (8-10 pages) chapters on 21 former major league baseball players from the 40’s through the 70’s.

What a fantastic book. It was cool reading about the utility guys from the 40s to the 60s. It’s a shame this book isn’t written every ten years and would have loved a book on Football players.
