David Brainerd was on fire for sharing the gospel to those who had never heard it before and for being a tool in the Lord's hand to save souls. Hearing how much he did from age 21 until he died at age 29 is convicting to say the least!

A good overview of Brainerd's life. It is relatively short and includes many quotations from Brainerd's personal diary.
