These Trackers are individual books, to be used one per child. These Trackers are intended to be used by early years educators working in all kinds of early years settings, Childminders, nursery classes, foundation classes, preschools, private nurseries, day nurseries and creches.
Ofsted are very impressed by them, as are all of the parents! They are professional and simple to use. Having all the information in one place also really cuts down on the paperwork! They are for use from birth until 5 and once the child has left my setting, I then pass the book to parents and they can give them to the next early year educator.

Everything is contained in one book, it is just a matter of filling out the relevant boxes. The Prime and Specific Areas of Learning and Development are linked into the Government's Statutory Framework. Each section has detailed development matters and a section for Observations and Assessments. There is also a section on Progress and Planning.

The Tracker book have a guidance section to help you get the best from using the book. They truly are second to none.

Trackers provides an effective way of monitoring the progress that children make over the first five years. They have been designed to be simple and usable and link into the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Planning and providing activities and play opportunities to develop children's emotional, physical, social and intellectual capabilities is ab integral part of early years settings. It is a requirement of Ofsted inspections that staff observes and record what children do and use their observations to plan for the children's play, learning and development.

The Trackers show all the areas of learning and development within each Area of Learning, and provide prompts or examples of these skills, understanding or competence to look out for , These prompts will also help when planning new or extended activities
