I loved the premise and thought this was going to be great, but I did not feel the "it" that makes me want to read book 2.

Nicole moves and is about to start college. She starts to feel a pull that she can't explain to certain areas in town. She also feels a pull to the brooding Professor Cooper. She does not know why she feels the way she does.

The book ends in a cliffy. I love cliffys, but this one was predictable.

There was nothing epic about the characters or the "connection". It was one of those it could have been so good, but it wasn't for me.

The whole "I didn't even have a chance to brush my teeth" before class was gross. (loc 770) There is always time to brush your teeth before you leave the house.

This was an okay read. The story was interesting, and the characters were okay. There was barely any romance considering the fact that it was supposed to be a New Adult Student/Teacher relationship story.

I did like the ending, it was inventive and orginal. It made the story interesting and good. I hope the next two books are better than this one, and more of a romance. Overall, a decent read.

I did not go into this book with high hopes seeing as it was a 200-300 page teacher student romance that I had gotten on sale. The characters were one dimensional with a clear “i’m supposed to be this archetype” approach. The length of the book indicated that i would be spending a lot just to get through the series. The dialogue, awkward and often cringeworthy, came across as something i would find written on a wattpad fan fiction.

Despite all this, I found myself hooked quite quickly and ended up downloading a sample of he next book. As a teacher/student romance, it does all the things i expected it to do: introduced the protagonists romance, placed obstacles to discourage them from seeing each other and gave hope to a possible future.

As the first of many instalments, this book does well to set up the romance side to the series. I would not recommend going in hoping for well developed three dimensional characters. it was a fun, quick read.

You know those books you can't let go until it reaches the last line?
And when you're totally focused on a story, drinking as nectar to every word spoken by the characters and suddenly the story is over?
This is exactly how I feel now.
I desperately need the second part of this book.
The ending is breathtaking.

---------------------------- ----------------------------- ---------

Nicole is the daughter of very wealthy concert performers parents. Although people have envied her life, this wasn't easy, being relegated into last place her parents' lives. Only when she decided not to go to Columbus, but for Texas College, they canceled their concert in Zurich to make her change her mind. As she has not changed, they left her penniless.
Living in her aunt's house, Rainbow Skye, a hippie, and Greg, her best friend, Nicole has to prove that her choice is the right one, but a Professor of Chemistry would not make her life easier. And to make matters worse, Professor Cooper seems to think Nicole is someone else from his past, and all that makes her life a spiral of emotions and surprises beyond imagination...

A truly unforgettable story completely captivating and invigorating. I have to admit I definitely didn't see the story line developing the way it did.
I was a little confusing at the beginning as I didn't realize Nicole would be having flash backs into the past, she feels drawn to specific places and specially anything involving her sexy and alluring Professor Cooper. I couldn't stop reading I was completed drawn in by the characters, the mystery surrounding Nicole and Professor Cooper had me at these edge of my seat. So many unanswered questions, I can't wait to continue reading it's truly an intriguing and beautiful story!

Poor editing combined with mediocre character development left me feeling like I wasted several hours of my precious reading time. Then when I got to the end only to find out this is the first part in a serial I was even more mad. Too many unanswered questions, too many hanging threads and not enough to inspire me to read the rest of the serial. I am not a fan of thinking I am getting a story only to find out I am getting the first third or less. Even calling this book 1 of a series is a misnomer, it really is just a few drawn out chapters of a boring story that reads like a winding road through the middle of nowhere. You read for hours and really only circle around the story, never finding the end, only to be more confused then when you started.

New take on the student/teacher genre. Includes a time travel paranormal element which adds a new dimension to the story. Quite intense love scenes so definitely NA. Humour provided by Nicole's bbf/ sidekick Greg(adorable) and her Aunt Rainbow (weird!!).
Overall enjoyable story, marred only by some annoying grammar mistakes. Could do with re-editing.

This is intense

This is amazingly weird. She is drawn to Jackson Cooper and she has no idea why. He thinks she is someone from his past. I think this is an incredible start to a romantic and intriguing story.

This book was super interesting. I felt like I didn't know where it would go. I liked Nicole's character. I have never read a book like this before. I can't say much because I didn't want to give anything away, but it was a good read. I'm not sure if I will continue this series, only because I don't really want to pay for the next book. We will see.

I'm a new fan of serials. I have to admit that in the beginning I did not want to try them at all! I always waited that all the installments were available to read the story. I have read a few serials in the last couple of months. My changed my mind about them. I love getting that rush of waiting for my questions to be answered and for the story to take an unexpected turn. Your Gravity-Part One, by L.G. Castillo, is one serial that has left me on the edge of my seat!

It's a new beginning for Nicole Ashford. She is determined to leave her past behind and take a step toward her dreams. Starting a new journey is never easy, but with her BFF, Greg, by her side everything seems possible. Her first day of college is nothing like she expected. Her first encounter with Professor Cooper has left her breathless. The chemistry that develops between them is undeniable and Nicole tries to stay away, but there is something so familiar and comforting about Professor Cooper. As days go by, Nicole is getting mixed signals from Professor Cooper. Will she risk it all to be with him?

I really enjoyed Nicole and Professor Cooper's story. I really feel like I have so much to discover about them still. There is a mystery revolving around them that was driving me crazy!!! I was trying to figure out what the author had planned, but I was left speechless with the cliffhanger that she delivered at the end of this first installments. OMG!!! I want some answers NOW!!!!!!

The chemistry between the main character was great and I really liked the supporting cast as well. This author always delivers likeable characters that make you get lost in the story. Like I mentioned before, I still have a lot of things to find out about Nicole and Professor Cooper. I was intrigued by the mysterious flashbacks that Nicole was getting and by Professor Cooper's reaction when he was around her. There are some things that left me confused more than once, but I know that I will get my answers in the next book. I cannot freakin' wait!!!!! The cliffhanger at the end is driving me nuts!!!!

I give Your Gravity-Part One, by L.G. Castillo, 4 intriguing, enjoyable, forbidden love stars!

My Review:
I am a huge fan of L.G. Castillo and I love her writing. I enjoyed this book but was a little confused in the beginning. Nicole, the main character, has strange flashes that she sees and she can’t seem to figure out way. Then she meets her Professor and feels a strong pull to him. I am not sure what I was expecting when I read this and I think that is why I seemed rather confused, I was looking at this more as a New Adult but I believe it is a lot more than that. When I got to the end, as always in a L.G. Castillo book, I got chills and can’t wait to get my hands on the next one. Once I realized what was going on and how this book was setting up I just need to know more. I enjoyed Nicole and adore her friend Greg. Professor Copper is a mystery and very arrogant but I think in the next book we will learn a lot more. This book is a serial of 3 so yes it has a bit of a cliffhanger. Whether you wait for the entire serial to be released or reading one at a time like me, I think you will find this book interesting and even though it is a quick read it is filled with so much it’s like reading a full novel. I highly recommend and can’t wait for the next one.

got into time travel stories lately. The blurb intrigued me enough and I picked this one up. The biggest strength about this book is Cooper. The author did a very good job creating a mysterious and magnetic character and you really want to find out what he's all about. I had a hard time with Nicole though. For the most part she was just ordinary and almost annoying. But Cooper kept my interest to get through and buy the next book in the series. These books were pretty short and I ended up reading all three in one sitting.

One thing I disliked strongly here is the author's overly animated writing style. These characters' faces and expressions were doing so many things, it was unreal. Eyes flicked everywhere so many times, I was seeing eyeballs flying around the room and while this is a romance, I kept getting jerked out of the story with images of some bad science fiction of aliens eyes flicking, rolling, and flying and bouncing off the walls. Often the eyes were flashy colors: there were sapphire eyes flying everywhere like spaceships.

The obligatory gay best friend thing was kind of cliche although as written it was all right. Gianna was a caricature to the point of not believable (what girl like that takes a chemistry class?) I really could've done without knowing Nicole rushed to class without brushing her teeth. When reading a romance a detail like this leaves a very bad taste in readers' mouth.

Loved this book!! Your Gravity by L.G. Castillo centers around Nicole Ashford and Jackson Cooper. Nicole moves to Texas from New York to attend college in an attempt to move away from parents that don't give her the time they should in their lives. Along with Nicole her best friend since childhood Greg moves with her. They end up staying at Nicole's Aunt Rainbows house... Nicole aunt is what you would call a hippie hence the name. On their first day of college Nicole literally bumps into Professor Cooper where they feel an instant connection to each other but the professor does come off as a jerk. Nicole later finds out he is the professor of a class she is taking. While I do not wish to give too much away as you really should read this book for that, Nicole and Jax have a connection that both seem to want to act upon and simultaneously do not as Jax keeps pulling away.

We are eluded to a certain type of mystery surrounding Nicole which apparently everyone seems to know including Aunt Rainbow except Nicole and us and its that mystery that keeps you wanting to know more!!

I absolutely loved reading this and you won't be able to put it down till the end. This is a series and not a stand alone so their will be a certain type of cliffhanger at the end but that only made me want the next book out ASAP .. Cant wait to see what happens next..

Ela havia viajado no tempo...

I received this book free in exchange for an honest review. I was pretty sure I was going to enjoy this before I even started it because I love all of L.G. Castillo's work. But as I started reading it, I was very intrigued by the story and the more I read the more intriguing the story became. I love the story-line and it flows very nicely. I love hoe she does such an amazing job developing the characters in all of her work! I'm trying to think of something, anything that I don't like about this book....all I can come up with is, I don't like that I have to wait for the next book! I'll survive but that doesn't mean I like it! Great story and I love the twist you've put on it. I have a dozen different things floating around in my head trying to figure out what and where you will go with it next!

The End, GAHHHHHH So be warned this has a cliffhanger ending but its not life or death. Everyone is warned by the author so expect it deal with it and it will embrace you like the quick tight hug of the promise of more to come. I will be dying a little more each day until the next is in my hands. As I said before I don’t know what is going on and I cannot wait to find out more! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

My Rating
4.9 Seriously right there, What the heck happened, Why has no one told her, Jammin on the strings, Nicole is my real name, These brownies are delicious, I’m going to have to wait an eternity to get to the next book STARS!!!

Nicole Ashford knows that she's a disappointment to her parents. Yet she's willing to stand her ground to fight for what she believes in. Nicole's best friend Greg Miller knos and accepts Nicole just the way she is. Most of Nicole's life has been haunted by weird dreams and a sense of deja vue which is becoming more frequent. Nicole crashes into hot guy spilling her coffee all over him. She's mortified to discover that he's her professor for chemistry. What does Nicole dream? Why doesn't the professor like Nicole? Find out in Your Gravity~Part One.

This exciting new series hits the ground running and doesn't stop. The story and characters are bold, rich, raw, real, down to earth, compelling, flawed, and great fun. Dfinitely looking forward to from this series.

Free download. I enjoyed this story but I have to say I was waiting for more to happen but before I knew it the book finished. I need the rest of the series ASAP. Nicole has moved away for college with her best friend, Greg, but the dreams that plague her have intensified and made worse by her Chemistry professor. When he's near she feels drawn and is effected like never before. He is just as effected but is keeping a distance for reasons unknown to her but will all be revealed? The story and plot were a little confusing to start but all will be revealed I'm sure in the next in the series. The characters are good, the angst is high, the intimate scenes are hot and I would recommend for a twist on a romance.

This book had me hooked! I'm a sucker for professor/student relationships, and I liked the somewhat odd connection between Nicole and Cooper. I'm actually still not sure exactly what that connection is, but I assume it's revealed in part 2 or part 3.

I'm not typically a fan of books that end in a huge cliffhanger, the type that requires you to buy the next installment(s) to resolve the story arc. But I knew this was the case with Your Gravity going into it, and I made an exception because the premise grabbed me from the start. I will likely continue reading the series (but I have a large TBR list to tackle first...)

Recommended, but only for readers who don't mind cliffhangers.
