Lots of information, she compares the Ruby-throated hummingbird to other birds which is fascinating. Lots of colorful photos. This is my fault, but I purchased the paperback edition, I would recommend the hardback edition.

8x11 full-color, lots of photos, maps and diagrams. What they look like, where they live and their life cycle. Compares hummingbirds to other birds for size, weight, feeding habits and coloring.

My mom has these feeding from her patio feeder. So busy and tiny.
