A Commentary on Isaiah: With Emphasis on the Messianic Hope

Rate this book
In an era of runaway speculation on biblical prophecy, here is a fascinating yet sensible study of the Book of Revelation, with its whirl of mysterious signs, symbols and vision. After introductory notes on the title, author, place of writing, symbolism, date, interpretation, purpose, and historical background, the author offers a running commentary. Firmly anchored in sound scholarship, the book is so written as to have the broadest possible appeal to serious students of God's Word.

This is an excellent book. Used it as a devotional and enjoyed how he brings out the meaning of the chapters without all the dispensational or liberal nonsense. Dr. Homer Hailey is not shy to shares views from other main commentators who he may not see eye to eye. He does not shun to say some passages are difficult to interpret. Should be in every preacher's library.
