The collective writings of Dr. Mike Gorrie are serve as both encouragement and stern warning for Christians to stay on the narrow way spoken of by Jesus Christ in Matthew 7:13-23. "Narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be there find it."

Also covered: honoring covenant marriage, repentance, living in holiness, walking in the light.

It's very clear that Jesus expects total repentance and renunciation of sin to inherit salvation and be admitted in to God's Kingdom. Mike Gorrie's book expounds upon those facts and speaks of personal experiences he had as a Christian counselor.

A short, but very edifying read full of RED MEAT for the hungry Christian.

I picked this book up for the second time and enjoyed re-reading it. It carries that strong a message. Dr Gorrie does an edifying job of explaining why the thief on the cross was "with Jesus in Paradise" after doing so little repenting for a life poorly lived. He also calls Christians to an ongoing life of holiness as it is revealed to them by the Holy Spirit.
Thank you Dr Gorrie, for lighting up the "narrow path" that Jesus speaks of in Mat 7:14 ...
