I most valued the chapter on Young Dual-Language Learners, and what teachers need to know to serve this population. What to look out for, how to be culturally sensitive, and ways dual-language-learning students might benefit from special teaching techniques.

Research and examples of the importance of anti-bias and multicultural education in early childhood. Includes activities to use in the classroom.

Although this is written for teachers and childcare workers, there was plenty of useful information for youth services librarians.
