His Best Friend's Girl is the 5th book in the In the Line of Duty Series, and it was a great read. It can be read as a stand alone, because I have not read any of the others in this series, and I had no problems. This story is about Matt, Sky, and Caleb. They have all been best friends since they were little kids. Matt and Caleb are ex military men. (so yummy!) Anyways Matt has been in love with Sky forever. Sky thinks she is in love with Caleb. Matt over hears Sky telling some friends that she wants to make a move on Caleb. To get him to see that she isn't just one of the guys. Sky not knowing Matt has feelings for her, begs him to help her by pretending to be her boyfriend. Hoping that if Caleb sees Matt has taken an interest then he will also notice she is all grown up now. Matt wanting Sky to be happy because he loves her, even if it hurts him agrees to help. So they set about whenever Caleb and other friends are looking to touch and hang on each other, but because they are such close friends it doesn't get Caleb's notice. Then Matt kisses Sky, telling her it was because Caleb was watching, but really he couldn't help himself. The kiss works. Caleb starts to notice Sky, to bad that Matt's kiss has Sky thinking she might be wrong about Caleb being the man for her. Will Sky wake up and see what's been in front of her this whole time, or will she let Matt slip through her fingers? And will Matt step aside to let the woman he loves be with his best friend?

OMG! Matt was smokin' hot!!!!! Like he was perfect. I wanted Matt, Oh God did I want me some Matt. Sweet, so protective, thoughtful, and of course he kicks ass! Sky was a sweet caring woman, but a little naive when it comes to Matt, because it was so obvious that Matt was in love with her, everyone could see it but her. Caleb was ok. Don't get me wrong he was a nice guy, but he was no Matt! And for all my friends out there that will want to know, Sky never does anything with Caleb. They do go out to dinner and talk, but when he goes to kiss her, she turns her head and he kisses her cheek.

When sky and Matt get together *fans self* Dayum. Matt surprises the hell out of Sky (and me) with what a kinky bad boy he is. Hell flames hott. OMG I needed a cold shower. The kinky was not over the top "I'm trying too hard" it was just perfect. There was a nice sexual tension build up, then when Matt pulled out the domineering, panty rippin, ass slappin, hand tying, flip her over and go in for seconds bad boy, I was done for! What the hell was Sky ever thinking looking at Caleb. Matt soo Dayum yummy!

This book was sweet, cute, exciting, and hot. I love the friends to lover theme in this book. Sky and Matt make an adorable couple. My only complaint about this book is I feel it was too short. I needed more. More of their relationship, and way more of Matt. Don't get me wrong it's not so short that I feel it's lacking character and relationship development. I just loved it so much I wanted more. Which is why I will be going back and buying the other books in this series, and any new ones that come out. A fun, quick read!

This is my first read by Miss Fox. I was hesitate picking up the audio book. I guess I am not in the mood for short sweet cheesy romance. But when I started listening to the audio book, I enjoy it very much. The sex is so hot that it literally melt my ears. And I have to admit I am blushing too.
This is a short sweet story. Not much on the story or the layer of complexion. Minimum character development and minimum angst. I read several books like this before, but Miss Fox managed to give a short story with a dose of sweetness.
I also wish that Caleb has his own story. Not just the best friend character.

Oggi, Fenici, sono veramente contenta di parlarvi del nuovo libro della serie In the Line of Duty dal titolo La ragazza del suo migliore amico, una lettura che ho trovato davvero deliziosa e che non posso che consigliare.
Skylar, la proprietaria dello Sky Bar, sta per attuare un folle piano per far avverare i suoi sogni. Lei, Matt e l’uomo che occupa da tempo il suo cuore sono migliori amici da sempre e Sky è convinta che entrambi la vedano ancora come la ragazza coi codini a cui permettevano di giocare nella loro casetta sull’albero. Non si è mai accorta che Matt da tempo prova per lei sentimenti profondi, non si accorge che le sue premure sono dovute ad altro, oltre all’amicizia. Per lei è solo il ragazzo su cui può sempre contare e che fa parte della sua vita da sempre. Per questo non esita a chiedergli aiuto per far sì che il loro comune amico apra gli occhi e la veda finalmente come una donna. Ma i piani non sempre funzionano come dovrebbero, e improvvisamente Sky dovrà cominciare a chiedersi quale sia davvero l’uomo che più si avvicina ai suoi ideali.
Su una trama che in fondo è già stata vista più volte, Cathryn Fox imbastisce una storia davvero dolce ed estremamente piacevole. Quella fra i tre principali protagonisti della storia è una di quelle amicizie che durano negli anni, e superano tanti ostacoli. Sky ha dovuto lasciare da parte i suoi sogni di scrivere un giorno un libro, quando ha ereditato dal padre il suo Bar; ora le tante ore di lavoro rendono la sua vita piena ma anche solitaria. Da tempo non ha una relazione, e questo è dovuto anche al fatto che è infatuata di uno dei suoi migliori amici, che però continua a vedere in lei quel maschiaccio che li seguiva nelle loro avventure. Se Caleb sembra ignorare la donna che è diventata, non è lo stesso per Matt. Per lui Sky è il sogno proibito, quello che nasconde persino a se stesso, convinto di non essere alla sua altezza. E questo non è certo facile lavorando con lei al bar, dove poi si trattiene anche per studiare a un tavolino, aspettando che Sky finisca il lavoro e poi scortarla a casa. Figlio di un uomo volgare e dedito all’alcool, Matt ha fatto di tutto per non essere come lui: è estremamente rispettoso verso le donne, gentile, e protettivo ma ha anche un lato intrigante e malizioso in camera da letto. Innamorarsi di questo personaggio è facilissimo. Lo vediamo sempre pronto a difenderla, accompagnarla a casa timoroso che lei faccia brutti incontri quando chiude il bar la sera, portarla a cavalluccio per tutto il percorso come l’ha abituata ormai da anni, riscuotere favori per essere in grado di asciugare le sue lacrime. Lo vedremo soffrire al pensiero di saperla fra le braccia del suo amico, ma convinto che lui sia l’uomo giusto per lei. Così desideroso di renderla felice da prestarsi a un piano folle.
Sky non ha tante pretese, cerca un uomo gentile che sia simile a suo padre, e pensa di averlo trovato nel suo amico Caleb. Purtroppo, però, la loro grande amicizia e gli anni in cui si sono frequentati hanno cristallizzato nell’amico un’immagine di lei che non corrisponde più alla realtà. Solo Kat, l’amica estremamente perspicace, sembra rendersi conto del suo problema, e la esorta a farsi avanti per prendere ciò che vuole ideando un piano un po’ strampalato che dovrebbe aiutarla anche se in un modo che Sky non ha previsto. Perché la nostra protagonista è una donna forte, indipendente, ma stranamente cieca di fronte all’evidenza. E non vi nascondo che, fin troppo spesso, le vorreste fare una telefonata piena d’insulti, per la sua incapacità di accorgersi di quello che ha sempre avuto sotto gli occhi e che ogni donna acchiapperebbe al volo.
Amicizia, conforto, amore, passione e scene erotiche veramente infuocate sono quello che rendono questo libro una lettura molto bella. Scritto in modo scorrevolissimo, ci permette di rivedere molte delle coppie dei libri precedenti e, pur potendo essere letto come stand-alone, vi consiglio caldamente di leggerli in sequenza per gustarvi al meglio ogni coppia. E vi assicuro che questi ragazzi si riveleranno davvero interessanti. Qui, più che nei capitoli precedenti, l’erotismo è intenso e sotto l’aspetto di bravo ragazzo Matt si rivelerà un amante esigente e pieno di sorprese, rendendo tutto piacevolmente pepato. Ho amato ogni libro di questa serie deliziosa, in cui non vi sono trame particolarmente intricate ma storie con personaggi positivi che ho adorato e che rimangono nel cuore facendo evadere per qualche ore dalla realtà. E, ancora una volta, un ringraziamento alla Triskell per l’ottimo lavoro fatto.

I've enjoyed Cathryn Fox's In the Line of Duty series quite a lot and His Best Friend's Girl is another fine offering in this series. Best friend's since childhood Skylar Redmond and Matt James have been there for each other through life's ups and downs but Skylar is ready for a relationship with someone and enlists the help of Matt not knowing he has had it bad for her for years. Sweet yet sexy with a good dose of complicated His Best Friend's Girl was an entertaining story.
I'll admit I'm not a fan of game playing in relationships, I think it kind of devalues the importance of honesty in a relationship, so I wasn't thrilled when Skylar decided to take her friend's advice and ask Matt to help make his other best friend Caleb notice her as a woman and not as the girl who has always been in his life. The thing is I really liked both Skylar and Matt and I flat out loved them together; yes there was an obvious closeness brought about by years of friendship, but it was also easy to see the admiration, trust and love between them even when they didn't recognize it as being "in love" as opposed to the love they shared as friends.
Matt is one of those quiet but intense heroes and there was no denying that he would do anything for Sky and wanted her to be happy in all aspects of her life. It bothered me he didn't think he was good enough for her and that he didn't feel he could be honest with her about his feelings given their long standing friendship. I get that he didn't want to ruin their friendship but I don't think he realized that her being with someone else would possibly ruin it anyway.
Smart and sassy, it was easy to like Sky but I also wondered how she could be so clueless that Matt's attention and his insistence on making sure she was always safe was just out of friendship. It was easy to see her confusion throughout this book especially after their first night together as more than friends.
I genuinely liked this story, but I also felt like Sky and Matt got cheated out of the romance of the relationship. They spent so much time talking about Caleb, dealing with Matt's elderly grandmother and feeling awkward after being together physically that they really didn't have time to enjoy each other as a couple in love instead of best friends who slept together "accidentally" twice. I'm also going to admit that I found it odd that Sky's friend Kat was so focused on the fact she thought Matt would be kinky in the bedroom and the way it was discussed throughout this book because in honesty Matt wasn't all that kinky and it just seemed unnecessary and strange the way it was brought up and continued throughout this book.
While not my favorite book in this series His Best Friend's Girl was still an enjoyable story and getting to see many of the couple's from previous books just added to the enjoyment.

His Best Friend's Girl by Cathryn Fox is an entertaining and hot erotic romance. I have been very fortunate to have read many of Ms. Fox’s books and each one is just as good or better than the last. This book is first-rate, complete with two made for each other characters, desire, and a little bit of kink. Wow, this is a truly sexy read and as a result, I will never look at a cupcake the same way again. Skylar and Matt are an engaging twosome and challenge each other without even knowing it. This is a well-written book with some twists and turns that kept me captivated from beginning to end. I loved how Ms. Fox slipped Jan Meredith (a fellow author and friend) into the storyline, and I smiled from ear to ear at the reference. Although this is the fifth book from Ms. Fox's In the Line of Duty series, it can be enjoyed as a standalone. However, the first four books are really good, so you may want to check them out.

I loved this book! The characters were interesting, the romance was beautiful and the book was well-written. I especially enjoyed how this was a group of very real people. I look forward to reading more. Interesting, well-written and romantic. This book is a jewel.

Continua la serie “In The Line Of Duty” e io continuo ad adorarla.
Volume dopo volume questa serie, scritta da Cathryn Fox, mi ha preso molto e mi ha regalato sempre letture davvero piacevoli e bellissime.
Amo perdermi in questo tipo di storie, romantiche e dolcissime, tra migliori amici.
Aggiungeteci che ho anche adorato Matt, gentile, premuroso e passionale, e Sky, dolcissima e spesso ingenua, non potevo dunque non amare la loro storia, che inizia quasi per caso ma che era destinata ad avvenire.
“La ragazza del suo migliore amico” è il quinto volume e racconta la storia di Matt e Sky.
Come preannuncia il titolo, Matt e Sky sono migliori amici da sempre, ma Sky non ha mai visto in Matt qualcosa di più che un amico.
Un giorno, mentre era al lavoro, la sua amica Kat le fa notare quanto sia speciale Matt, quanto sia sexy e che sarebbe il partito perfetto per chiunque.
Matt è un mix perfetto di tantissime cose, il pacchetto completo, ma Sky non sembra essere interessata a lui in quel senso. La sua cotta è per Caleb, l’altro loro migliore amico.
Matt che è così gentile e premuroso, pensa di non meritare l’indipendente, forte e coraggiosa Sky, pensa di non essere abbastanza per lei e, anche se la ama da sempre, la spinge verso il loro migliore amico, nonostante gli faccia male.
Matt aiuterà Sky a conquistare Caleb, che però vede Sky solo come un’amica.
Il piano perfetto comporta che Matt finga di essere interessato a Sky e che i due si frequentino, si tocchino e si bacino.
Per i due sarà davvero facile perdersi tra finzione e realtà, ma Sky aprirà finalmente gli occhi su se stessa, su chi vuole e su chi ama?
Ancora una volta la Fox è riuscita nel suo intento e mi ha coinvolto e conquistato con questa storia dolce e sensuale.
Il legame e i sentimenti dei protagonisti sono veramente ben strutturati e arrivano al cuore di noi lettrici facilmente.
Soffriremo tantissimo per il povero Matt.

Un personaggio affascinante, consapevole del suo amore ma disposto a tutto per rendere felice Sky, anche se a soffrire sarà lui stesso.
Il suo è un amore puro, solido e, alla fine, vincerà su ogni cosa.
La dolce Sky, non appena aprirà gli occhi, capirà quanto è fortunata e si renderà conto che l’uomo giusto è sempre stato davanti a lei.
Pagina dopo pagina, ci perderemo in questa storia dolce, scorrevole e bellissima.
Una storia che viaggia sulle stesse linee dei volumi precedenti e che ci farà rincontrare anche i vecchi protagonisti, tutti alle prese con la loro vita di coppia.
In tutta le serie, romanzo dopo romanzo, vecchi e nuovi protagonisti si incontrano, formando un bellissimo gruppi di amici, uniti e tutti con uno splendido amico a quattro zampe.

This was such a cute romance! Sometimes I absolutely love the best friends to lovers story and this one did not disappoint. The story made me laugh, swoon and smile. I love it when I read a book that makes me feel like I can fall in love all over again! It looks like these are the kind that make me realize that love really is something to treasure. Of course this book was definitely steamy and full of erotic scenes but I seriously adored this couple together.

Skylar Redmond put off her dream of being a writer to take over her father's bar when he passed away. She enjoys running the bar and keeping her father's legacy alive, but it has really taken a toll on her social life and left her with a almost non-existent love life. She has a suitor in mind, but he barely notices her, nor does he have any idea that she's interested in anything other than friendship. Matt, Caleb, and Sky grew up together and Caleb has always just considered her to be one of the guys, but she's tired of him only seeing her as the little tomboy he grew up with, she wants him to see her as the beautiful women she's blossomed into.
Matt on the other hand has noticed every little change in her, and would love to be the guy she has eyes for, however he's stuck in the friend zone. He looks out for her, and is always there for her when she needs a shoulder to cry on, but still feels like he'll never be good enough to be the special man in her life.
When Sky finally decides to make her move on Caleb she is met with what she mistakes as rejection, so she decides to go for broke and up the anti. She figures if another man shows interest in her it will open Caleb's eyes and have him begging for a date. Matt is her safe choice for this little plan, but what happens when a few fake kisses open her eyes instead, and she's left wondering if she picked the wrong guy...
I thoroughly enjoyed every minute I spent reading this story, it had me laughing and swooning from start to finish! I love a good love triangle and I have to say that Ms. Fox completely outdid herself with this one. The story line captivated my attention right from the start and had me burning right through the pages, and staying up well past my bed time just to finish it! Discovering this series has been quite the literary treat for me, and I always look forward to each new addition and the opportunity to revisit some of my favorite characters. Definitely one that should be added to everyone's reading lists, it's sure to satisfy all your reading needs, and then some!

This is the fifth in the series, but it reads well as a stand alone too. As we meet a number of the previous pairings, it gives some updates on these.
Although this is the perfect cliche story, it actually pokes fun at itself very effectively. The friends to lovers pairing is good enough to carry the plot - even though at times I did wonder just how old the main three characters were. Their friends had sussed the situation along with the reader, so there are some very humorous moments, as well as some steamy ones.
A good short read; perfect escapism.

Mentre noi siamo distratti dalla ricerca dell'uomo perfetto, spesso non ci accorgiamo di averlo già accanto.
Skylar ha quasi trentanni ma le responsabilità di cui si è fatta carico quando ha ereditato il bar in cui lavora non le hanno permesso di proseguire nel realizzare il suo sogno di scrivere. Anche la vita privata non va nel migliore dei modi, soprattutto perché il ragazzo che vorrebbe da sempre al suo fianco non sembra vederla più che come amica. Skylar ha le idee ben chiare riguardo all'uomo ideale, sa che cerca una persona che le stia accanto, sia comprensiva, amorevole, fedele e complice; una storia stabile, un uomo al quale affidare il suo cuore per il resto della propria vita. È sicurissima che quell'uomo sia uno dei suoi amici d'infanzia, ma il timore di rovinare un'amicizia, anzi due le impedisce di lanciarsi dichiarandosi. Skylar è una ragazza dolce e divertente, responsabile, che però ha lasciato da parte la passione vera, sia quella provocata dai suoi sogni, sia quella che dovrebbe provare verso qualcuno che è sicura di amare.
Matt è un paramedico ed è uno dei più cari amici di Skylar, anzi il migliore. Matt e Skylar vivono nello stesso stabile uno accanto all'altro, passano praticamente ogni giorno insieme, che si al bar di Sky o a casa, si conoscono al punto da leggersi con uno sguardo. Matt è affidabile, sicuro, un amico meraviglioso, sensibile e attento. Il suo sogno è migliorarsi, soprattutto per essere degno della ragazza dei suoi sogni, quella che ha sempre amato e per la quale farebbe di tutto mettendo il suo bene sopra a ogni cosa, anche ai propri sentimenti.
Quando Matt scopre che Sky è innamorata del loro migliore amico, Matt ovviamente sente il cuore spezzarsi ma si mette da parte, al punto di incitarla a dichiararsi perché potrebbero essere perfetti insieme. Complice un'amica e un po' di coraggio Sky tenta il tutto per tutto, e in questo piano Matt avrà un ruolo fondamentale: dovrà fingere di essere innamorato di Sky per aprire gli occhi all'uomo che la vede ancora come una ragazzina.
Riuscirà a Sky a conquistare l'uomo dei suoi sogni? E se quel sogno si trovasse in un luogo molto diverso da quello che aveva immaginato?
Ho amato questa storia. Il rapporto tra i due protagonisti è fatto di complicità, affetto, amicizia, sentimenti che li rendono importanti l'uno all'altra più di quanto potrebbe fare qualsiasi altra cosa. Assistere ai loro dubbi, alle paure, alle scoperte l'uno dell'altra è stato entusiasmante e allo stesso tempo dolce.
Cathryn Fox in questa storia ha messo veramente il cuore e tutto ciò traspare appieno. Matt e Sky sono due personaggi che emozionano, conquistano, divertono e fanno appassionare. Lo stile della Fox è scorrevole, ha una grande capacità di trasmettere le sensazioni che provano i suoi protagonisti. Personaggi ben definiti, con i loro pregi e difetti, ma dai valori forti e molto realistici. Anche la trama è verosimile, qualcosa che possiamo facilmente riconoscere e personaggi nei quali identificarci.
I due protagonisti sono entrambi fantastici. Sky è una ragazza positiva, sicura di sé ma che nasconde molta fragilità. Matt è un uomo come ce ne sono pochi, capace di donare il proprio cuore totalmente e senza egoismi, mettendo chi ama al centro di tutto, anche dei propri desideri. Un uomo buono, dolce, simpatico, ma capace di una passione che sorprende molto piacevolmente.
Grazie all'autrice riusciamo a conoscere poco alla volta entrambi questi due ragazzi, le loro esperienze, i loro dolori, i timori, ma anche il coraggio e la forza, la tenacia con cui vanno avanti e il modo in cui si sostengono l'un l'altra, qualcosa che ognuno di noi sogna di poter trovare un giorno.
Anche i personaggi secondari sono interessanti, di alcuni abbiamo già vissuto le storie, di altri non vedo l'ora di scoprirle.

La ragazza del suo migliore amico è un romanzo che mi ha sorpreso. Inserendosi nella serie In the Line of Duty ripercorre come già detto in precedenza quelli che sono i momenti tipici di tutti i romanzi che ne fanno parte, anche se in questa occasione in modo meno vistoso e più personale. Sarà per la bravura dell’autrice nella creazione dei protagonisti, sarà per una storic che sebbene all’apparenza non sembra di certo originale, ma che alla fine un po’ lo è, sarà per questi motivi o altri ma questo romanzo mi è proprio piaciuto.
I nostri due personaggi principali sono Skylar e Matt.
Skylar è una giovane donna che ha messo da parte i suoi sogni e le sue aspirazioni artistiche per portare avanti una bar che è l’ultimo legame rimasto con la sua famiglia. Quel bar è la sua vita, la ingloba totalmente tanto da non lasciarle tempo di pensare a se stessa e ai suoi sentimenti, che appaiono già abbastanza confusi. Divertente, fedele, instancabile, dolce e sexy Skylar dovrebbe avere tutto ciò che desidera, e in realtà potrebbe davvero se solo aprisse gli occhi. Ciò che cerca è davanti a lei, una casa, una famiglia, dei figli, ma soprattutto un compagno con cui costruire tutto ciò, ma non lo sa ancora.
Matt è un ex soldato che sta votando la sua vita ad un amore segreto e al test d’ingresso per la facoltà di medicina. Tra le due opzioni non si riesce a capire, almeno all’inizio, quale sia la più ardua da raggiungere. Educato, sincero, con quell’aria da bravo ragazzo che nasconde sotto sotto capacità e desideri tali da rendere una donna totalmente sua, Matt è l’uomo che tutte le donne vorrebbero, peccato che lui abbia occhi solo per una. Matt è un uomo che per amicizia sarebbe disposto a rinunciare anche alla sua felicità, pur di vederla negli occhi di chi ama.
Ecco, la storia di Matt e Skylar nasce un po’ per caso. Complici delle amiche che hanno saputo sussurrare al momento giusto all’orecchio giusto e far penetrare il dubbio nelle menti dei due amici, Matt e Skylar si scoprono pian piano. Sono già amici per la pelle, ma il passo per divenire amanti non è sempre privo di ostacoli. La mancanza di comunicazione, o meglio l’uso di parole che sembrano adatte ma che non corrispondono al vero crea un certo impedimento. Quante volte diciamo ciò che pensiamo l’altro voglia sentire? I nostri due piccioncini non ne sono di certo immuni. Spesso ci vuole coraggio per affrontare situazioni che sappiamo potrebbero andare o molte bene e quindi renderci felici, o molto male e quindi farci soffrire. In entrambi i casi è necessario osare, perché comunque vada ne vale sempre la pena. Skylar e Matt saranno dello stesso parere?
Le aveva davvero scaldato il cuore scoprire che lui non aveva mai dimenticato i suoi sogni, e indipendentemente da cosa avrebbe detto, giurò che lo avrebbe aiutato a studiare, perché voleva che anche lui realizzasse i suoi, di sogni. Forse Kat aveva ragione. Forse Matt era il pacchetto completo.
La storia si svolge con colpi di scena, scoppi di passione, e apparizioni di personaggi, che per quanto negativi danno una sferzata positiva al climax e alla vicenda. Lo stile è sempre lo stesso: diretto e dritto al sodo. Le scene passionali sono sempre ben descritte e mai uguali. In questo caso ho apprezzato molto l’aspetto nascosto di Matt che ha reso tutto molto piccante e inatteso. I personaggi secondari sono sempre ben inseriti e danno quel contributo di cui la storia necessita.
In conclusione, se amate gli uomini che sanno far girare la testa ad una donna, non potete farvi sfuggire Matt e il suo fascino.

La ragazza del suo migliore amico è un romanzo che mi ha sorpreso. Inserendosi nella serie In the Line of Duty ripercorre come già detto in precedenza quelli che sono i momenti tipici di tutti i romanzi che ne fanno parte, anche se in questa occasione in modo meno vistoso e più personale. Sarà per la bravura dell’autrice nella creazione dei protagonisti, sarà per una storic che sebbene all’apparenza non sembra di certo originale, ma che alla fine un po’ lo è, sarà per questi motivi o altri ma questo romanzo mi è proprio piaciuto.
I nostri due personaggi principali sono Skylar e Matt.
Skylar è una giovane donna che ha messo da parte i suoi sogni e le sue aspirazioni artistiche per portare avanti una bar che è l’ultimo legame rimasto con la sua famiglia. Quel bar è la sua vita, la ingloba totalmente tanto da non lasciarle tempo di pensare a se stessa e ai suoi sentimenti, che appaiono già abbastanza confusi. Divertente, fedele, instancabile, dolce e sexy Skylar dovrebbe avere tutto ciò che desidera, e in realtà potrebbe davvero se solo aprisse gli occhi. Ciò che cerca è davanti a lei, una casa, una famiglia, dei figli, ma soprattutto un compagno con cui costruire tutto ciò, ma non lo sa ancora.
Matt è un ex soldato che sta votando la sua vita ad un amore segreto e al test d’ingresso per la facoltà di medicina. Non avevo preventivato di leggere questo libro. Non durante il mese di maggio, perlomeno. Eppure sapete quando vi sentiti richiamati e l'unica cosa che potete fare è rispondere? Ecco, dovevo leggere questa storia. Ho letto tutti i libri della serie In the line of duty, sono tutte particolari, leggere, piene di sentimento, ma la storia di Sky e Matt mi ha lasciato fin da subito con un sorrisino stupido. La ragazza del suo migliore amico non ha deluso le mie aspettative, anzi... dove lo posso trovare un Matt personale? 😏 Definirlo il ragazzo dal pacchetto completo è poco. Se avete voglia di una storia tra migliori amici che vi tenga incollati e vi scaldi in questi giorni piuttosto freschi, mi sento di consigliarci questo libro di Cathryn Fox.

Wow! Just wow!
I wasn't so sure I was going to love Sky in this story. And I really didn't think Cathryn Fox was going to make Sky's love for Matt believable but she did that. Matt has become my favorite of this series and he had some tough competition.

This book is raw and real. Sky and Matt are perfect. Thank you for writing books that don't focus on the bad playboy and the naive virgin. This is a breath of fresh air. I have read a few books by Cathryn Fox and have enjoyed them all.

This is a fun, entertaining read. Matt and Skye are interesting, relatable, intriguing, complex, entertaining, fun characters. I these characters and their romance. The secondary characters added to the fabric of the story and my enjoyment. The story is easy to read and get into.
