About the author

Anne Kerle is a consultant biologist and writer. She has been extensively involved in research into the ecology of many Australian animals and their conservation needs. For her PhD she studied the Northern Brushtail Possum and she has subsequently worked with possum populations from central Australia to the central west of New South Wales.
