This was a very interesting book the really related to me! I absolutely love sports sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much and of course I'm a girl. In some of these stories girls played with boys in their sports or just with other girls or boys! My favorite story was "Batting after Sophie" because I LOVE softball so much and I related to this story a lot. I'm even going to read some of the authors' other books such as Bat 6 and A whole new ball game. I liked all of the stories but if I had to choose, my least favorite was the stickball one. It was a bit hard to understand and I don't know a lot about stickball. You should definitely read this spectacular book if you like any sport or are a girl interested in sports.
I thought this book was great. I enjoyed seeing how people back then had to deal with life and sports. I didn't realize how hard it was for girls to play sports. This book has great stories. They are all unique and very special to the authors that wrote them. I would recommend this book to any girl who enjoys sports.
I liked this book because it encouraged me that girls can play sports too! Also they can play with them and they might be even better then the boys too
