Part of this was 5 star information, but so much of it was just too repetitive. The advice boils down to, you can throw any disc with any style for any shot if you want.

I can't figure out who the audience is, since the last few chapters have information for new players like grip and throwing styles, the opening paragraph talks about spending $8,000 to manicure your backyard into a private putting green.

Also, the encouragement to build a full private course in your backyard doesn't translate to anyone who lives in a city, which is about 80% of America.

Loved the pictures throughout and the history of the game and kudos to putting a book on disc golf out for the world.

Several tips and process. This reads similar to a text book and I have spent time studying it. A video of the throwing or a live lesson is better and the explanations. I enjoyed the walk through the rules and I have picked up a tip or two on edict. I had to use the book and go to the yard to practice the grips and the throws.

Decent as an introduction to the sport and some of the guidance offered is valid, but it is clear that a lot of the info on technique is outdated.

This is the best book I have read so far on disc golf. It could be improved by the use of color photos, and some of the sequencing was questionable, with the info on how to execute different shots buried in the back. But they had an excellent writing style with sufficient humor to push through the chapters. It could probably use an update soon to capture the tremendous growth of the sport over the past two years, but it is comprehensive and sufficiently detailed to explain the major elements of playing disc golf.
