Carmen Tudor's stories appear in various anthologies and journals including Gothic Tales of Terror, It's a Grimm Life, and Fantasy for Good. She recently completed PhD studies in Gothic literature at Deakin University, Melbourne. Carmen's research investigates the historical uses of matrophobia in weird and eerie fiction, and encourages a matricentric lens for reinvestigating the state in its short-story form.
