When she lost everything, he took the place of another and now his secrets risk tearing everything out of his hands
Torn between two powerful men who adore her, ER nurse Leila Matthews has found the love of her life...but the road to happily-ever-after is paved with betrayal, secrets, and dead bodies.
FOREVER
For ER nurse Leila Matthews, life has never been easy. Her father turned his back on their family and her mother died young. Her cop brother’s near fatal gunshot wound brought Brody Davis into her life, the handsome CEO who promised her the world but left her pregnant with his child. Enter Jaxon Henderson, the sexy-as-sin VP of the local MC. Friend first, he has become the great love of her life. Tall, handsome, golden, his passion is matched only by his possessive and protective nature. But Jaxon has dark secrets, and his deception tests Leila’s love to its core.
Jaxon Henderson knows three things: He loves Leila Matthews more than anything, he's lied to her, and he’s sworn to secrecy about the danger and violence that gathers on the horizon. To keep Leila safe, he must tell her all, but full disclosure has a price, and that price may just be everything (Amazon Blurb)
We’ve followed Leila as she struggled to come to terms with choosing the man who would become the love of her life and the one to hold her heart, ultimately becoming a family as she was pregnant with Brody’s child. When he left her, Jaxon became everything she needed him to be: friend, lover, protector and now a mystery. Where the first two novels of the Torn series took us through Leila’s experience with her men and dominance, and then having to decide if she can raise her child alone as Brody walks away, Torn follows Jaxon, the man who has always been by Leila’s side through thick and thin and can’t stand to see her in pain. What an amazing twist into the darker side of these characters! I loved it! Frankly I could spend the rest of the day gushing about AF Crowell’s superb penmanship and capacity of continuing a series that I was certain would end with Pulled, and adding more plots twists, drama, action and mystery that really I regretted every single moment that I had to close the book to do something that required my help. This is a novel that needs to be read, but also one, that should be added with the first two parts, that being Pushed and Pulled, seeing as how they are all related to one another.
