She and her husband have been involved in youth ministry for over twenty years and currently serve at a small country church, which inspired her first novel, Under the Shadow of a Steeple. Her novel, Witness Protection, was released in September 2017. She has also published Greater Love, Until Proven Innocent, and a writing curriculum, Creative Writing Through Literature. Carol has a passion for writing exciting Christ-centered fiction that uplifts, encourages, and gives glory to God.

Carol Kinsey has done it once again! Greater Love is a must read!
Trey Netherland is an undercover FBI agent posing as Rainey Meadows’ boyfriend. Rainey Meadows has been deceived. She wants answers. He wants to catch the bad guy. When they find themselves in the middle of Columbia, Trey and Rainey realize that they are searching for different things. Without giving too much away, Rainey loses her memory and is trying to figure out who she is. Trey finds himself torn between the lies and he has told her and the Truth that is fighting to reach his heart. Tangled in a dangerous plot, can Rainey trust the man whose lies put her heart in turmoil? Will Trey finally cry out to the only One Who can truly set him free? There is only one Truth and it’s in Him they find Greater Love.
This isn’t your cliche contemporary betrayal story. There is so much more to it. This is a story of a Christian girl who is trying to live her life for God, but finds herself betrayed by the guy she thought she was madly in love with. She finds herself in a tangle of lies and has no idea what is going on or who to trust.
Rainey’s character is refreshing. She doesn’t have the greatest upbringing, but is a Christian who longs to grow closer to God. She is the kind of girl that has high standards for guys. She doesn’t date just any guy and her number one rule is that he must be a born again Christian. I found that refreshing because I wish more girls were like her in that aspect.
Trey is not a follower of Jesus Christ for a majority of the book. Pretending to be Rainey’s boyfriend is hard work. He finds himself attending a Christian college, a Bible study, and spending a lot of time with other Christians. Rainey is so in love with God that she is constantly encouraging him to read the Bible with her. She plays a major impact in his life.
There is so much more that I can tell you about this story but I don’t want to give too much away because so much happens! I was not expecting so many twists and turns. It has all of the feels. I laughed, I cried, I cheered. I absolutely loved the plot! There are also themes of salvation, forgiveness, putting complete trust in God, sharing your faith with others, and so much more. God is a huge aspect of the book and readers will find themselves being pointed towards God.

Once again Carol Kinsey has blind sided the world of fiction with another great release. In “Greater Love” we follow a path of adventure and unparalleled danger that takes us deep into Columbia. A place known to be ruled by drug lords. As our two protagonists Trey and Rainey find themselves hopelessly lost and with nowhere else to turn they find a love so great that none can compare. This Christian fiction release teaches a great lesson to young adults and all readers out there that “...the truth shall set you free.” (John 8:32). As I turned the last page I couldn’t believe the journey was over.

Greater Love not only incorporates suspense, action, and romance, it also holds a strong message of faith through Jesus Christ. It is not hard not to be touched by this book! Definitely would recommend this book to anybody!

This is a great book that I couldn't put down! With lots of unexpected turns, Carol Kinsey keeps you on your toes with action, romance and the message of the Gospel creatively woven throughout the whole book.

Greater Love is a must read! I could not put it down! This book would be a great Christmas gift! Carol Kinsey brings life to her characters and her stories are so full of details! Greater Love is full of action and is Biblically solid. I highly recommend it!

At first glance you might think it's another cliche book about simple betrayal. But this book gave more to the story than any book I have ever read. it's well thought out and deserves more than a first glance. you will not be disappointed in reading this book.

I absolutely loved this book. (Also let my sixteen year old read it, and she loved it as well.)Fast-paced fiction at its best. I loved the plot twists throughout the novel! Great read!

this book is one of the best books I’ve ever read. it’s the type of book that you can’t stop reading and you have to force yourself to stop. they say as readers when you read you “escape” this is the type of book we’re hours have flown by and you won’t even have realized it. not only is it very action packed but it has a Christ centered focus. At first glance, this book may seem like your average betrayer love story, but it is far from that. Greater Love not only incorporates suspense, action and romance. But it also includes a strong message about faith in Jesus Christ. The novel is about an undercover FBI agent, Trey Netherlands who pretends to be the Rainey Meadows boyfriend. He wants answers, but she wants love. Further in the book the two of them are caught up in a tangle of lies. Later, Trey starts to find God and begins to find his way back to Rainey. But can Rainey look past all the betrayal and learn to love him again? Read this book to find out! I definitely recommend this book to any believers, new believers or even non- believers.
ps: you might be very sleep deprived after staying up all night reading and might even cry and have moments were you are in total shock.

I love this book so much! It help you spiritually and it hold mysteries plot twist and much more. I most definitely record this book! I give it a five star because it held my attention and I absolutely loved this book. I don't usually like to read but I just loved reading this book!
