The Skinny
Dear Santa

Please bring our Christmas dinner this year because Daddy told Mommy he’d take care of it.

Tommy and Tyler Trask

This installment in the BBW Romance – Billionaire Brothers series is 6 years after the epilogue in Cowboy’s Mail Order Bride (BBW Romance – Billionaire Brothers 5).

All five Trask brothers are convening with their families for Christmas. This is the women’s time to relax and celebrate the holidays in style. They’ve all assured their wives that they have everything taken care of, but the brothers quickly discover they have nothing but disaster on their hands.

The Players
Sophie and Mitch

Maddie and Garrett

Phoebe and Cole – parents of Phoebe and Hailey

Laura and Alex – parents of the twins, Tommy and Tyler

Ellie and Logan – parents of Penny

The Quote
The twins surveyed the room, their eyes wide. “The kitchen doesn’t look like this when Mommy cooks,” Tommy said.

“Yeah, Daddy.” Tyler frowned. “You did give our letter to Santa, didn’t you, so he could come and help you?”

“Of course I did,” Alex reassured his sons. “But Santa is very busy and he knew we – ” he gestured to his brothers, “could handle this ourselves.”

“Maybe you need Mommy to help.”

“No!” Alex lowered his voice. “Your Mom deserves a rest this year. She’s always cooking for us. This is going to be a present for her.”

“Uh-huh.” Tommy didn’t sound very impressed. His twin tugged on his sweater, whispering in his ear. Tommy’s eyes rounded for a second, then he nodded. “Okay. we’ll go and play.”

“Good boys.” Alex looked relieved when they left the kitchen.

“Quick.” Tyler towed his brother toward the laundry room, holding up his father’s cell phone. “We’ll ring Aunt Edna and find out what to do. I don’t think Daddy’s doing it right.”

Highs and Lows
The holiday mood. The book is full of Christmas cheer and love. There is nothing better than cooking Christmas dinner, dressing up as Santa for the kids, and decorating the Christmas tree with your family.

The disasters. They couldn’t be planned any more perfectly or be any more comical. These five big, strong, independent men are lost to making things just so for their wives this Christmas.

The twins. Tommy and Tyler Trask steal the show. They are masters of deception.

The love. The amount of love these men have for their wives and families knows no bounds. They will do anything to make this a wonderful Christmas and give their wives the relaxation they deserve.

The Take-Away
The problem was very clear-cut, created by the Trask brothers who are quickly working to rectify the situation. The best part of the book was when the twins fool the grown and burly men and make one small phone call that changes everything for Christmas.

The Recommendation – Buy, Borrow or Skip?
It’s free on Amazon right now! If you don’t get it free, I recommend borrowing it. It’s a short novella that gives off all the feels of a wonderful Christmas read. The length combined with the love make it the perfect book to start off your Christmas reads and get you in the season.

If your looking for a book to put you in the mood for Christmas this would do it. I have not read any of the series or anything else by this author but I really fell in love with this family. Christmas is one of those holidays better spent with family and I would love to belong to this one. Sophia and her hubby Mitch are expecting their first child and in the meantime are hosts for the entire Trask family. One by one the families show and with them this cluster of children follow. Now really what fun would it be without kids? So then the festivities begin and it is a whirlwind of chaos and confusion. It is too funny from multiple Santa's and blown out lectricity as the children later chanted. There is more to it then that but than what fun would there be if I gave you too much information. It has really made me want to look into the individual books in this series. As the title implies it appears the ladies are not your traditional barbie doll ladies but ladies with curves. This is also a clean read with implications of misbehaving in the night. Apparently all the Trask brothers are virile. I found this on the free list on Amazon. Enjoy!

A sweet, Christmas tale about 5 brothers making Christmas special for their wives and kids. A little disaster with planning the Christmas dinner is the main story plot, but I do like an 'it all comes good in the end' tale. Sometimes, the characters felt a little flawless, but I can forgive that at Christmas.

A short blip about the brothers coming together with their families for Christmas. Of course, the guys decide they're going to plan everything, which leads to some confusion. Don't worry, it all gets figured out. No real sexy-bits. Kind of just a quick story. Perhaps you'd appreciate it more if you're really, really invested in these stories. For me it was just a quick read with no real depth.

Great Christmas story of the Trask brothers and their wives and children celebrating the holiday. Thought I have not read their previous stories. This was a cute epilogue of how they are doing 8 years later. Beautiful read!

Short but sweet

Loved revisiting the Trask brothers and their wives along with a herd of bab Trask. Sometimes miracles do happen and when love is bountiful nothing can be more precious.

Not having read the individual books for the back story of each couple, I would say it's a short, sweet, little novella. It whets your appetite to go back and read the other books.

This was a very average novella. Predominantly based on telling, rather than showing, but it was a nice way to boost my reading challenge.

Fun Story.
Five couples plus offspring rent a place for Christmas but which of the men has organized the Christmas Day meal? Probably best if you have read at least one of the couples romance.

A very short Christmas read, but be warned, if you haven't read the series you will probably be lost on the characters. Story has a good premise, five brothers and their families are celebrating Christmas at a rental cabin. The brothers decided to give their wives the holiday off and are handling all aspects of Christmas right down to the meal planning and preparations. Like any holiday, not everything goes perfectly according to plan and the brothers find themselves doing a little improvising to make this a magical Christmas for their families.

I received an eARC of this book for my honest opinion and review. All ratings and opinions stated are my own.

Family Christmas

Five brothers, their wives, and kids are getting together for the holidays. Each brother has promised his wife that everything is taken care of, including Christmas dinner. The problem is that each brother thought another brother was taking care of it, and none of them are very good in the kitchen. It's a very short story, and if you haven't read any of the previous books, you can still enjoy it.

Okay read.

Five brothers making Christmas dinner for their wives and children . This is my first book by this author. It is a short story so not much time to read. I have enjoyed other Christmas stories more. Not sure That I would read more from this author. This can be read as a stand alone story. I will not re-read this one. You may like it more if you have read the series. For me just okay.

Perhaps it's because I haven't read the other books in the series, but this short story really seemed to be lacking. It takes place over a period of a few days at Christmas time, but nothing really happens. It just seems like an afterthought, a few scenes, left over from previous stories involving these characters.

When Men Are In Charge

Looking for a laugh out loud and sentimental story at the same time? This is a sweet and funny novella. Grown men trying to show their wives and children how much they are loved.

When the children write to Santa asking for dinner help I nearly spit my coffee out! Such a loving and fun holiday celebration ~
