I admit I wasn't sure what to expect from this one, since everybody said how much of a player (aka. the title name) he was. But there was no OW drama at all. What he did mention of his past sex life didn't bother me, since his feelings for 'his woman' came across really strong and sincere, that made me forget all his previous ONSs'.
I liked seeing his many layers. From a complete jackass to a sweet and caring lover. Also, I could relate to h's situation and her fears of her parents disapproval. I was not shocked but definitely surprised of the parents reaction when they found out (specially after the way they found out, ahem).
The epilogue was really sweet, too.
A great short and steamy taboo read.

A quick hot read about step-siblings Derek and Charlotte. Both 18 and in their senior high school. He's also a star football player.
Their parents got married and they were living under the same roof for 3 years. But he started to see her differently the last year. He was an ass to her but she didn't put up with his bullshit. Once they got together, there's no going back. And I liked the epilogue. I liked this one better than the first book especially the epilogue. For some of my safety friends, you may not like this one. See safety spoiler.

Today I am into the novella I guess. In this story we have two typical teens who are of course being stupid and playing mind games. Cause why be honest!? That's just way too boring!
Ok so the hero big jerk that he is sleeping around and all. However, being a teen and all I get that and since the heroine in question is taboo what's a guy going to do!?
I tell you what, why don't you do what she did and keep it in your pants!!!
After he decides she is it, he does stay faithful.
Heroine was spicy and I loved that. I gave all the stars because of her! She was fun.
3.25 stars.
Side rant: Omg really? I am pissed off that authors write about pulling out is an effective method of birth control. I got news for you, it's not! Use a condom! Rant over.

This plot line was absurd. The star football player manwhore with a big dick falls in love with his step sister. That's a whole lot of tropes shoved into one itty bitty book (I almost insinuated something dirty here about him and her but I'm holding myself back). It was OK, I liked that he was celibate for awhile, I liked that there was no OW drama or anything. I didn't like that based off the blurb I thought he was celibate since he met her but he wasn't. Knew each other for 3 years, celibate for 1. But beyond that the absurd was pretty funny and it was a light read.

If you love a quick hot dirty taboo read then Player is for you. Jenika Snow and Sam Crescent make a great smutty read team. Everything they write is hot, fun, full of Alpha's, and will leave you panting for more. In Player the reader meets Charlotte the nerdy hot girl whose mother married Derek's dad. Derek is a player and all around Alpha. He's got the hots for Charlotte and hasn't been the player for awhile. Charlotte can't stand Derek but there's a fine line between love and hate. Once Derek decides that Chatlotte will be his there's no stopping him because he's a over the top Alpha when it comes to Charlotte. In true Snow/Crescent fashion there are plenty of hot crazy scenes that will leave your panties wet. Stalk up on batteries before reading this great taboo short story. I'm loving this series from them nod I can't wait to see what's next.

This is another entertaining taboo short story from Sam Crescent and it's very hot. Derek is the star of his high school football team and can have any girl he wants. But he's been celibate ever since he decided he wants his stepsister, Charlotte in his bed. The only problem is Charlotte loathes him, at least that's how she acts towards him but really she can't stop fantasizing about him. When their parents go away for the night Derek and Charlotte are at a party together and when a teammate hits on her Derek is furious and takes her home to his bedroom to show her who she belongs to.

Charlotte and Derek have been stepsiblings for 3 years. He has a history of sleeping around and she's a virgin. He wants to fuck her and hasn't been able to get it up for another girl in a year...so hasn't really been sleeping around much. She's a virgin and hates that she wants to be another notch on his bedpost. And then of course there's their parents to worry about if they were to give in to their attraction and their parents were to find out. Needless to say, they do give in to that attraction. It's pretty hot smut and it turns to romance because Derek quickly concludes that this isn't going to be a one-time thing and he'll be the only man Charlotte ever has sex with.
This definitely needed to be fleshed out a bit more. I wanted to like Derek more than I did. His claims of celibacy sounded a lot more like it wasn't for lack of trying...if he'd been able to get his dick up, he might have still been trying. At the beginning of all this, Charlotte wasn't anything more than pussy to him. Also didn't care for how he threw the blame for his own promiscuity and player reputation back on the "bitches" he slept with, since they were all after the same thing he was. Why do they have to be "bitches" just because they had sex with him? What does that make him? Also had to contend with quite a few typos that threw me off the story a bit, but nothing too major. The ending of this story definitely needed to be extended a bit more...from the conversations with their parents (definitely felt the need for a conversation between the MCs) before skipping to the epilogue.

Una parte sus padres los descubre y pensé que se iba a amar el despelote pero no ellos aceptaron. Terminaron casados y con una hija en camino.

LOL this is an older book by them and I haven't read many of their older books so I wanted to see if there was a difference in style or what have you. And I am happy to say that the authors are so strong and consistent it's actually amazing!!! This was just another awesome read by Miss Snow and Miss Crescent!!!
