However, the second wave of Changtung warriors seized power soon after the Butlers disappeared into another time period. Their long and brutal oppression of the minorities has been unrelenting, and now they intend to transport all humans and minority races to another planet, where they'll be worked to death mining critical minerals. The Butler children, now adults, are leading an insurrection, but things go violently sideways as soon as they begin to implement their plan.
This is a must read book for anyone seeking lots of action, adventure and wild swings in the plot. Written with no techno-babble, weird religions or languages, it's just a flat-out fun read that will seize your attention and won't let go until the very last page.
