When the author sent me an advanced copy of the newest novel in her series, I didn’t hesitate to walk back into this creative and diverse world.
The main character behind the chaos: Decompose, or Dee as his friends call him, is at the center once again. Things have drastically changed and he isn’t the dark character I remembered from the other novels I’ve read in the series. Well, not until the Gold Dragon intervenes and tries to turn him into the dark monster he was.
Again, the mixture of genres helps to forth the heart of this story. There are also many other characters that come into play which, at times, can prove to be frustrating for any reader who’s becoming familiar with this author’s novels in the series. However, there is a glossary at the end of the book that helps put the pieces together.
If you like interesting worlds filled with dragons and unicorns, carefully laid out world building, and a plethora of characters, all with their own interesting backgrounds, then this is the book for you.
I received a copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.
