Rate this book
Novel writing, MADE FOR TELEVISION. In Episode 2, things are shaking up at the White House, especially with a new Black President occupying the Oval Office. Stephen C. While he’s busy trying to get Congress in line to create new gun control legislation, she’s actively working to keep her trail of lies a secret. The president’s mother is also back on the scene, and her drinking habits have switched to high gear. Without a doubt, he has his hands full with her, as well as with his multiple enemies. One who comes in the form of a reporter he’s been “entertaining,” and by any means necessary, she now wants the president to face his demise. She’s definitely not the only one, and as secret service fails to do their job, their open-door policy puts the president in a position where he’ll be forced to save his own life.

This Black president, Stephen C. Jackson, is just as handsome and intelligent as the Black president before him. They have very different temperaments though. There are women who feel as though he used them, white men who don't want him in that position and as such, there are people who would like to see him dead. Will the Secret Service protect him or will he be forced to save his own life? This was an excellent read, I really enjoyed this book. Read: October 2015

2nd installment continued with the drama. I thought Pres showed his cleverness as attempts to destroy him backfired- his opponents just won't give up! It amazes me how he manages to stay 1 step ahead of all his enemies. The ending has me ready to read part 3! Great read!

Lol this was indeed a good. Book. It was obvious that it was fictional nothing like this happens in real life. This President was way above the standards of realization. I love the voice of the reader. He had such a sexy voice, I would have listened to him read fictional or not. However the President was off the charts. With the exception of cheating on his wife I would have voted for him a thousand times.

I really enjoyed this sequel!

I found the characters to be more dimensional this time around and it was really good to see the realistic push and pull of doing what’s right and doing what’s expedient. I was truly invested and can’t wait for the next book in this series…

Black President by Brenda Hampton is becoming one of my favorite series.
This book reads like a mini TV series.
As the president is busy trying to get congress in line to create gun control laws, along with a number of enemies who don’t want him in the white house or to succeed. His wife Raynetta is standing by his side and is trying hard to keep her life secrets.
The presidents’ mother is also back along with a heavy drinking problem.

I love the book covers to this series. I think the book covers is a perfect fit to the title.

The characters you can picture while reading the story. Each character has a great part and drama following them.

The story line is great. With chaos in the world and killing world wide the president has so much on his plate. The president doesn’t really know who is on his side. Even the ones close to him. Can he trust his friend? Can he trust his secret service? You need to read the book.
Entertaining from the beginning to the end.

So after you finish watching Empire and Scandal and want a great book, start reading Black President you won’t be disappointed.

Read both episodes in one day! I really enjoyed it. This black president, however, does not get my vote regarding his personal behavior, but the political drama is on point. It's one way to get people engaged in what's going on in our world, and the people in charge of it, even though fictional. It definitely takes a great writer to pull in world events, and top it off with a whole bunch a messiness! I'm ready for episode 3! Keep them coming Brenda! Great job!

Come on Part 3

Mr. President can't be dead. You can have him hurt a little but don't kill him. I want the First Lady to Check Chanel. I hope Levy catches the VP with the gun and kill him as well. The was an exciting mini series and hell it was better than watching my Thursday night scandal. Awesome job
