I hated this book.
Period.
So, the romance in this story: Cole bullied Tessa because he loved her and wanted her attention.

Let me tell you, bullying is NOT a light topic. I know it's fiction but shit like this gets on my nerves. Slut-shaming, bullied person falling in love with the person who bullied her...

If Tessa was bi-polar, her character would have made more sense. That was bad enough. But the book LITERALLY ENDED UNEXPECTEDLY and then started re-hashing the story from Cole's POV. But then that only went so far and ended. This is the strangest book-related thing I've ever encountered since... EVER.

The beginning of the book was so promising, but…

Tessa was a fat, insecure girl and had been bullied all her life – at first from Cole, and then when he left, from her best friend, Nicole. 💔😭
She starts her senior year after losing weight and now she's a thin chick (eye role). When she finally meets Cole – he's in shock! Boy, because of Tessa's fear of bumping into him, I expected Cole to be the devil… but got a Chihuahua. 😂🐶
📚 “𝗜’𝗺 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗹…” 📚
I was curious about the change in Cole's behavior, but the explanation was completely stupid: Cole had been bullying her all these years because he was in love with her, and got jealous that she was in love with his brother.
Wait, WHAT ??
I didn't buy it, of course. There is no reason to explain the fact that this big bully became a mush with hearts in his eyes – except for the fact that she is now… HOT. 💥
He can lie to her.
He can lie to himself.
BUT TO US?!?! 😂😂😂
Then, the author tried to get us to like him by describing his bullying as "pranks", but lady, did you forget that these pranks sent her to the ER…? Several times?? So much so that the nurses knew her by name?! 😬
She also tried to put depth in the story by talking about important issues like insecurity and eating disorders – but this story was so stupid that even if she was writing about the Holocaust, that wouldn't help either… 😂🙈
The book is part of a duet and ends with a cliffhanger – but for me, this was completely enough.

These are the cliches why I have eyerolled, facepalmed, and stared blankly at the screen so much while I was reading this book:
-Previous fat girl
-Has a closet the same as barbie's but doesn't use any of the pretty clothes
-Used to be best friends with Queen Bee (or B*tch)
-"In love" with said Queen Bee's boyfriend
-Hates said boyfriend's brothers guts
and the list goes on and on and on.
Please, save yourselves.

Fat-shaming and slut-shaming was so evident in this book, which kind of made me lose respect for the author. Also it's really really really long. It didn't need to take this amount of length to be finished.
Another thing, I don't understand how locking yourself in your room shows how the main characters love each other so much (?). It's borderline obsession and definitely unhealthy.

Okay. I could go on and on about all the ways this book has made me angry. But first and foremost, the main beef I have with The Bad Boy's Girl is it's main relationship, "Colessa". Because it's abusive. I know people disagree with me; in fact, judging by the scarily positive reviews, the majority of people disagree with me. But I need to get this out there, this is a book about an abusive relationship. Maybe Cole doesn't ever hit Tessa, (she'd just fly away in the wind, her character is that immaterial) but he sure as hell plays fucking jump rope with her emotions. It's really creepy, going back and reading the first few chapters. He gets a key to her house (this is partially the parent's fault), picks out her clothes, and objectifies Tessa and her "hot body" (I could go on a rant forever on how terrible the author's decision was to blatantly fat-shame, but in the sake of time, I'll just get on with it). Later, when they're dating, Cole regulates Tessa's diet, basically claims ownership of her and is extremely possessive, and to top it all off, blames Tessa for basically every complication they've had in their relationship. And Tessa believes and goes along with it because she feels so grateful to him for "taking a chance on Fatty Tessie even though she's really hot now". Finally, the last straw and what really turned this book from a two-star to one-star was the "climax."
(I'm going to write in all caps for this part because it pisses me off. Warning: cussing.)
TESSA LITERALLY BASES ALL OF HER SELF-WORTH AND BEING ON THIS RELATIONSHIP. THIS IS NOT HEALTHY. THIS IS NOT HOW REAL, MUTUAL RELATIONSHIPS SHOULD BE PORTRAYED. SHE LITERALLY WASTES AWAY IN HER BEDROOM BECAUSE LOSING COLE IS LIKE LOSING A VITAL FUCKING ORGAN. IF THAT ISN'T THE MOST DISTURBING THING YOU'VE HEARD, THEN YOU NEED TO PIPE THE FUCK DOWN AND RE-EVALUATE YOURSELF.
In conclusion, this book is a monstrosity. But in a way, I'm kind of glad it was written. Maybe future generations will look back and realize just how warped society and it's view of a healthy relationship and self-respect and FEMINISM JUST DAMN THIS WAS A TRAVESTY TO EVERYTHING.

En cuanto tenga el ordenador os cuento el despropósito éste. Necesito un teclado para expresar todo lo que tengo que decir.
Ya lo tengo. Explico rápido la trama y luego haré una lista numerada, contando lo que para mi no tiene sentido alguno.
Bien. La protagonista (Tessa) es una chica que no quiere destacar y que está enamorada del chico popular de su clase (Jay) , tal chico comparte noviazgo con quien fue su mejor amiga (Nicole) . La cual resulta que es actual verduga, acosadora y popular de nuestra querida protagonista.
Estos tres personajes comparten un hecho en comú, y es nada más que Cole. Hermano de Jay, interés de Nicole y pasado verdugo de Tessa. Con este cuadro se nos presenta una de las peores novelas que he leído jamás (aunque no supera a Enlazados para que mentir)
Ahora la lista
1-Para maquillarte debes adelgazar, sino no vale.
2- La seguridad en uno mismo viene precedida del descenso de peso de un individuo.
3- La protagonista que antes era una mujer entrada en kilos y no más empezar la novela no come. La autora no nos dice nada sobre tal mensaje que lanza.
4-Si tienes inseguridades ganar el baile a tu verduga te hará la vida mucho más feliz
5- En cuanto tengas un rollete puedes abandonar a tus amigas, aunque una de ellas tenga una vida jodida. Ahora, si es tu examiga la que te abandona a ti puedes llamar Zorra a la susodicha y que no pase nada. Porque claro, ésta totalmente justificado.
6- Con 18 años podemos tratar una relación como si de una película Disney para el público infantil se tratase.
7- La protagonista no le gusta que le juzguen pero ella puede juzgar.
8- Tener una vida adinerada y que no sepas valorar lo que te rodea con más que desprecios es positivo.
9- Que se interese por ti el chico X, y delegar todo a un segundo plano es positivo.
10- Decir que no te interesa la moda y que dos líneas más abajo me hables de corpiños, encajes y no se que mierda más también es coherente.
11- Pasar de tu hermano porque es alcohólico es normal, porque consume pero..
12- Escuchar que tu hermano es un perdedor de aquel que estuviste enchochada toda la vida y recuperar el interés por tu hermano alcohólico por "el que dirán" también es coherente
13 - Que sea tu primer interés alguien bueno tras dejar a tu hermano como una mierda y justificar su comportamiento por su novia también es algo que nos gusta.
14- Tener dos amigas y que sepamos de ellas lo mismo que tus encajes es preocupante
15 - La popularidad en la vida es algo que debemos alcanzar aunque no nos interese una mierda.
16 -Podemos idealizar a los hombres. Hagamoslos perfectos, inalcanzables pero sobretodo irreales.
17 - Tu amiga necesita ayuda por su vida asquerosa pero a nosotros nos importará una mierda porque estaremos pendientes de que no descubran nuestro rollo adolescente
18 - Abandonar el lado feminista (cuidado que lo dice literal) que te hace querer ser respetada como una igual en la sociedad es normal mientras nos elijan un vestido de un diseñador mazo importante.
Paro con la lista. Podría contar más, mucho más pero ¿para qué? Mirar esto ya es personal, una reflexión de una lectora a la que le indigna según que cosas. Me asombra, y lo digo de verdad, que las mujeres escriban novelas y retratan el valor hacía una misma como si de un objeto se tratase. ¿Esperar al hombre perfecto es a lo sumo que podemos llegar? ¿Joder, de verdad esto es lo que triunfa? ¿El machismo entre nosotras?
¿Que mensaje es ese, joder? ¿Que mierda de mensaje es ese? Lo que no me explico es que triunfe entre mentalidades tan jóvenes y prósperas, donde el adelanto por la igualdad entre géneros es algo por lo que se lucha y no se aparta. Sinceramente, creo que nuestras abuelas eran mucho más adelantadas. Pero bueno... ¡Que le den al adelanto! ¡Nos flipa que nos controlen, el poder y relegar nuestra inteligencia a cambio de cariño! Porque si no se cumple con esto, serás una fracasada que no encuentre amor. A joderse.
Vale ¿vamos con el tema del peso? Vale, vale ¡Pues claro! Venga,va. Chicas que leáis esta reseña ¿me escucháis? ¿Sí? Vale. La chica esta jessgirl93 nos comenta de que hay que bajar de peso para ponerse colorete, tejanos y demás. ¿Le hacemos caso con el mensaje éste? Muy bien, así me gusta. Una mierda vamos ha hacerle caso. Y mucho menos escampemos mierda como ésta, no podemos ¿eh?
Nosotras debemos querernos tal y como somos; con virtudes pero también con defectos. ¿Sí? Pues ale. Este espacio de la reseña lo patrocina jessgirl93 que nos dará colorete a todos: chicas, chicos, con kilos o sin ellos.

The initial 4 stars were simply because I loved the book and it helped me when I was in a very bad space.

Also, this was confirmed in the next books as well. This girl has ZERO trust or consideration for her man.
So ideally they're extremely suited people. They're both horrible and can be horrible together.
But I think I have disillusioned and the stars really are coming down to 2
Then it goes down to one, because the grammar was terrible.
Reading it in Wattpad was one thing but I spent money on the amazon version, I'd expect more out of my money and for $6 I'd expect a book with decent grammar!
- I didn't like Tessa whatsoever. For a massive portion of the book, she pined for a spineless jerk, and was a doormat to her ex-bestie who was in short a bitch.
I wouldn't have a problem with that given the fact that the spineless jerk covered it well in public, BUT given the fact that she understood EVERY mean thing Cole did to her and stood up for herself against him yet NEVER understood that his brother was a spineless jerk? A guy who claims to be your friend and apparently "protects" you, fails to see how his girlfriend may actually cause you bodily harm and refuses to acknowledge it or do anything about it? yet you don't see it? I don't buy it.
- She had unrealistically high expectations of Cole. Thus the separation and angst. I know Veronica has this in her "to-read" list and she is a lot less forgiving than I am, and will definitely not agree with me, BUT, getting drunk and being kissed by a girl who has secret crush on him was kinda NOT Cole's fault. Cole had to live with being the secnd best to his Brother or as long as he remembered, hell, everyone in the town knew about it, yet she couldn't work past a kiss that may or may not have happened, when he was passed out, when he had no control of his action, and when he DIDN'T initiate it? I am not saying she should've ignored it, no, BUT, she DIDN'T DEAL with it. she shut him out, went almost suicidal, drove him crazy. Not cool Tessa. Also, no, she didn't punish him for the kiss, she punished him because he didn't believe her when she said his friend had hots for him. It was messed up.
See once again I wouldn't have had a problem if Blair hasn't shown Tessa to be a strong girl in making. These were not action of a strong girl, this was of an insecure one.
- Cole's sexual past! OK, I know Tessa had major hots for Jay, and it was unlikely she would EVER have accepted Cole, and may be he tried to move on. But seriously Cole? You insensitive jerk! You have been in love with this girl since you were what? 4? Yet you decided to go to bed with other women?
- Lastly, Tessa's parent's separation. It seemed extremely abrupt and sudden to say the least, at least to me. I shall be re-reading the book in one seatng and i'll see if my opinion changes. But GOD, Tessa's mother is a piece of work.

The wattpad version of 'the bad boy's girl' holds a special place in my heart. I can ignore the errors and the bad writing because it is a wattpad book and that's what you get. It's a package deal.
Cliche love story + shitty writing = wattpad.
So when I heard that this was being published, I was so excited because the story I know and love(d) was going to be improved. But I was wrong.
You would think that if a book is being published, the author (Blair Holden) would go through the book edit, add and fix parts of the story so it's actually acceptable for publication. But NO. Even from the first chapter I was wondering how this is acceptable. I'm not saying that she just copied and pasted the wattpad version into this 'novel' because she did add new parts into the story. But they were so minor and sometimes just plain stupid, I questioned: what was the point? Also, you would think that after all those years since she started 'the bad boys girl', that her writing would improve. But yet again, it didn't. I often say that I don't pick up on an author's writing style but with this book it was just so bad that I couldn't stop cringing. And as if this book wasn't bad enough, she had to split it into two. So in the future, there will be another one of these. Yay......
Maybe, I wasn't the right audience Blaire Holden was writing this for. Perhaps these sorts of books are only meant for year 9s. Whatever it is, I hate this book and it is probably one of my least favourite books of all time. I used to be team Colessa but now it just saddens me that books like these are getting published. I don't think I'll be picking up part 2 of this story and I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone. There are much better novels out there worth your time.

27/06/2018 - on reconsideration I think I'm changing this to a 1! How I could've given this a 2 with all the shit I mentioned, I don't know. And a year later all I have is these bad memories, so...down you go rating!

Well, let's get started and say that this is PUBLISHED. It's no longer on a free site, but is actually on shelves and ready for people to buy. This shouldn't be amateur work anymore. . . but it is.
This is riddle with stereotypes and cliches. Honestly. The Queen Bee whose perfect and beautiful, and is a 'hoe'? REALLY? And all the pretty girls are superficial and mean and so very unlike our very own protagonist? I mean, really? Do we have to keep representing women in this way - and constantly degrading them by calling them sluts?
This book takes on a variety of different issues. This will contain spoilers so continue reading on at your own risk. I have warned you! Basically, at a party that Tessa attends, her ex-best friend and bully arranges for this drunk guy, Hank, to go in and abuse her. Tessa is man-handled and groped against her consent by him . . . and ugh. It's just then used as a plot device to move Cole and Tessa together, and to fuel Tessa's anxiety in the book. This could be a good thing - showing how people deal with and live through sexual assault . . . but nah. It's used as nothing more than as a cheap plot device. Considering the fact that Hank never gets charged - just a fist to the face and transfers schools is annoying. There should have been more discussion on reporting sexual assault.
We have a line here by Cole,
UGH. Okay is this meant to be romantic? Sure. Maybe my hearts a bit too cold. But honestly - here we go again perpetuating this idea of "innocence" and that once women have sex or other sexual relations with someone they're no longer "pure". Like really? This is just harmful. Your worth shouldn't depend on the idea of how much sexual experience you have. ALSO - Cole is such a HYPOCRITE. He's freely admitted he's had his "distractions" in military school, many of them, so what's the difference? How come he can have sex with as many women as he wants, but the idea of Tessa being with another man prior to him makes HIM angry? Oh please piss off with that possessiveness. It ain't cool. It's sexist.
This book could discuss so many issues: parental abandonment, grief, alcoholism, bullying, etc but it just doesn't. So I feel like this novel really lost something there - the chance to connect with readers. While I felt for Tessa and herself being bullied this book shows that the way to get back is to bully itself. To bring up dirty secrets of the bullies. Why not tell a teacher? Even the parents and other adult figures (like Travis) knew about the bullying but it was dismissed. With the case of Cole bullying Tessa, they all ignored it because "he loved you." SUUUREEE. It's just not great is it, really? Come on.
So I don't know. I did have a lot of issues with this book and all of it's over-used tropes, I didn't hate it. It could be cute at times, but for a published novel, I expected a lot more depth to characters and plot.
In a paragraph that could anger a lot of people, I guess since this was, and is, extremely popular on Wattpad, that's all that matters. When there's a fan base out there ready to buy it, it's going to be published! Screw whatever issues it might have, right?
I did like the sassy title headings, but. . .
WHAT AN ABRUPT ENDING. It just finished. Bye. Then we had two random Cole chapters which is the "really cool exclusive and bonus content" and then done. That's it. The end. Obviously cliff hangers are done to get the reader to move on to the next book but this . . . honestly it's like they just forgot to put in the next couple of chapters.

Una comedia romántica única.
Es un libro lleno de frases que te invitan a reflexionar, y sobre todo te demuestra que nada es lo que parece.
Me ha encantado, una pareja diferente, que te hará empatizar, trata temas muy variados e importantes como el bullying, la amistad, la autoestima o las adicciones. Todo ello mezclado con altas dosis de humor y sarcasmo.
También tiene sus momentos tiernos y dulces, y algún momento tristón.. Lo tiene todo y engancha.
Lo más importante es que te demuestra que debes quererte tal y como eres, no necesitas cambiar para que otros te acepten.
Un romance actual, fresco y divertido.

He adorado este libro, tanto por la protagonista como por el chico. Ha habido momentos increíbles que no he podido parar de reír, momentos en los que no podía parar de suspirar. Creo que este libro tiene muchas de esas cosas que consiguen que una historia sea perfecta. Lo único ese final, ese final que me ha dejado con el corazón roto en mil pedazos y con unas ganas horribles de leer el segundo. Sin duda recomiendo este libro si te gustan los libros juveniles y quieres una historia que engancha y que te haga pasar momentos inolvidables.

This is one of the best stories I've read on wattpad and it's not even finished yet. I love the main characters so much (Colecake shipper here) and the chapter titles are just hilarious. It has its elements of epic proportions and heartwarming drama. The love and heartbreak in the story is wonderful.

Do you know when you read a book and it’s so good, so outstanding, that it’s gonna be one of the best books you've ever read in your entire life? From the moment you turned the last page, you’re always gonna remember it as a masterpiece.
Every other book the author has ever written can be good to burn, but this one in specific will always have a special place in your heart.
So now you can imagine how shocked I was when I've decided to re-read this golden book from my teen years and I found a totally different book.
The problem isn’t just the “different” thing; this is a total stranger to me, I don't know it!
I mean, I read this four years ago! Maybe at the time, I wasn’t as smart as today but I'm sure I wasn't the kind of person who could like this.
I don’t even know where to start.
The story is too fast in some moments - you can barely understand what’s going on -, while others are so slow that you can fall asleep on the book.
I don't have the time to talk about the narration but I'm going to say this: when I was eleven or twelve I read a lot of fanfiction on Wattpad, my favorite band or normal stories I didn't care about. The reason while I loved them so much is that they were like books, but better. This - all of the 358 pages - is not worthy to be compared with those and I don't understand how someone can rather publish this instead of something written with a little judgment.
And when my beautiful sweet Cole is still the same, the reason while I probably loved this at the time is turned in someone else.
I don’t know if Tessa is bipolar or hit her head when she was little. I remember connected with her so deeply - there are so many things in which we look alike - and yes, maybe I just wanted a Cole in my life, but I actually liked her. She was funny, almost brilliant, and her life was pretty much perfect.
Now I can see the cliches: the fat girl became Miss America, her ex-best friend being a total bitch probably because of a boy, her crush being the boyfriend of the bitch but also being jealous when she starts having a life, a messed up family, and her worst nightmare is in fact a really sweet guy who obviously is in love with her his entire life.
Do I forget something? They’re rich, white, ready to go to elite universities without even sending the requests, and they can make an addiction of years disappear in a week.
Once, someone said to me that a little drama is always welcome, but here it makes the story pretty much unbelievable or, if we want to be mean, fake.
The only thought of having to read the other books makes me sick. Maybe I should start crying so someone else can make up for me.
Oh right, I'm not Tessa.

No he fet ressenya al blog, perquè em negava a fer conviure a Mary Beard o a Virginie Despentes amb aquesta narració masclista que descriu relacions absolutament tòxiques. Era una lectura sobre literatura juvenil d’un curs al que assistisc. Sí, jo ho reconec sense problemes: als 14 anys m’haguera encantat esta novel·la. 10 anys més tard... me done compte que les adolescents estan mamant una narrativa molt conflictiva: el “chico malo” que fa la vida impossible a la protagonista perquè en el fons l’estima. WTF? Per favor, ensenyem valor més positius i més respectuosos a la generació més jove... que després ens trobem amb el que ens trobem.

Hay tantas cosas que están mal en este libro... El bullying no es algo q se supera comiendo helado. La autoestima de estos personajes es digna de estudio. Es una novela juvenil pero los temas que tratan son muy importantes para tomarlos tan a la ligera...

Reconozco que me sobran años para poder apreciar esta historia. Si lo hubiera cogido en mi etapa adolescente es muy posible que me hubiera encantado. Ahora... Bueno, ya hace bastante que dejé esa etapa.
Sin embargo, es agradable toparme con una pareja tan diferente a otra tóxica que también salió de wattpad como la de After.
Por otro lado, es cierto que a veces tenía la sensación que la historia no iba a ningún lado y que había demasiados clichés institutiles pero supongo que esa era la idea.
En definitiva, es un libro que las adolescentes disfrutarán, con un chico que no es un idiota sino todo lo contrario y con una relación que no hará a las madres querer quemar los libros por miedo a que sus hijas se busquen un tipo como el protagonista.

En definitiva, es un libro que las adolescentes disfrutarán, con un chico que no es un idiota sino todo lo contrario y con una relación que no hará a las madres querer quemar los libros por miedo a que sus hijas se busquen un tipo como el protagonista.

Ok, no terminé el libro, me quedé en el 70% les juro que ya no puedo seguir por más que intente.

RESEÑA:
¡Aún sigo sin palabras! Antes de empezar con la reseña, os advierto que este libro tiene un final que produce ataques de nervios ¿cómo demonios pudo dejarnos así? Siempre lo digo, pero nunca está de más reafirmarse ¡odio las sagas!
Este libro es genial, así de claro, me lo he pasado pipa leyendo la historia de Tessa, por fin una protagonista con dos dedos de frente y con defectos ¡Sí!, en el libro no todo son risas ni mucho menos, esta novela trata algo muy serio como es el bullying.
Para Tessa el instituto es un auténtico infierno, y para la mayoría de los estudiantes es una paria. Soporta el enrarecido ambiente gracias a sus dos amigas -que también son rechazadas por el resto-: Beth y Megan. Juntas sobrellevan con fuerza todos los insultos y malas caras. Tessie es la que peor lo ha pasado puesto que siempre tuvo sobrepeso, un importante sobrepeso más concretamente, con esfuerzo y ganas consigue el cuerpo que quería, aunque a veces no usó métodos muy... terapéuticos. Sus dos mayores temores son Nicole y Cole -tiene gracia que hasta sus nombres se parezcan-.
Desde que tiene memoria recuerda a Cole tocándole las narices, gastando a la pobre muchacha unas bromas que no tenían gracia, muchas fueron objeto de cuidados en el hospital. Decir que Tessa le tiene miedo es quedarse corto. Cuando se enteró de que el susodicho iba a una academia militar... fue la mejor noticia de su vida.
Nicole fue la mejor amiga de Tessa, pero decidió romper los lazos que la unían al entrar al instituto, ella era la chica más guapa y popular y Tessie... estaba acabando con su reputación, se unió a la corriente y día tras día le hacía la vida imposible a nuestra protagonista, haciéndola llorar a cada hora.
Por si esto no fuera poco, Tess tiene un amor platónico desde que tuvo uso de razón, él es Jay -hermanastro de Cole-. Popular, deportista, guapo, inteligente... y novio de Nicole. Él también la dejó de lado para no perder la onda con el instituto, rompiendo el corazón de Tessa.
Con este panorama muy poco halagüeño empezamos el libro, peor aún si me apuráis porque Cole está de vuelta y no se olvida de su "bizcochito". La relación de Tessa y Cole es complicada -menudo eufemismo-, la muchacha le tiene pavor y él no sabe dónde meterse de vergüenza. Cuando se ven los puñales vuelan por doquier, hay que admitir que los dos tienen un ingenio envidiable, propiciando unos diálogos hilirantes ¡hacía tiempo que no me reía tanto con un libro!
No sé quién es mejor si Tessa o Cole, desde ayer por la noche sigo intentando escoger pero no soy capaz, ella es algo fuera de lo común, por una parte tiene los deseos de cualquier adolescente pero por otro lado es muy madura y divertida, tiene cada punto que es imposible no cogerle cariño. Una luchadora nata. Mientras que él anhela cariño y atención, es muy tierno, sí tiene ese toque chulesco de tipo duro pero se derrite con Tessa y tiene mucha paciencia. Intenta expiar todos los pecados del pasado.
¡Qué decir del resto de personajes! Quiero libro de todos, en especial de Travis, sí me encantaría leer su historia entera desde que se marcha de casa hasta que vuelve y se recompone ¡es un personaje tan complejo! Y su nueva pareja también, creo que sería un puntazo. Sin olvidarse de Megan y Alex, que son geniales, tendrían que haber aparecido más. Y, una especial -muy especial mención- a los amigos de la academia militar de Cole ¡todos tienen que tener libro, si no me muero!
De momento, toca esperar a 'Bad's boys girl. Más razones para odiarte' que promete mucho. Aunque admito que las dos últimas páginas sobraban, pudiendo quedar en un libro autoconclusivo con un final redondo. En este aspecto tengo sentimientos enfrentados, por un lado quiero seguir conociendo más a esta pareja y por otro temo que el segundo me defraude. Ya veremos, en teoría el primer trimestre de 2016 lo descubriremos.
Brevemente termino destacando algunos aspectos del estilo de la autora. La historia la cuenta Tessa en primera persona, es una voz que a mí me gusta mucho sobre todo para este estilo de novelas, a veces la tercera persona queda coja. Los capítulos tienen un título que se identifican con una escena del mismo, es una frase literal bien de la protagonista o del resto de personajes, me llamó la atención y me hizo gracia -hay cada uno...-. En definitiva, un estilo fresco y directo que consigue que prácticamente devores el libro.

The author of this novel has a very quirky and unique writing style; she's bold and writes deeply.
There was only one thing that I didn't like about this book; it's length. I felt like this book's main plot was resolved about halfway through, and then a new plot popped up over the second half. By then, I was getting kind of sick of this book. Not that I didn’t enjoy it; I truly did.
One thing I really liked about this book was the protagonists voice; Tessa knows all about what it's like to be bullied, to have appearance issues, and to be less than trustworthy of others. These are all very serious issues that a lot of people can relate to.
On top of that, this book was a discovery story; we were with Tessa every second of the way as we watched her overcome her insecurities and deal with family problems. We watched her realize her worth and which boy in her life deserved her utmost attention.
The romance in this book is so sweet, and I adore Tessa with Cole. However, though it's a huge focus of the novel, it's not completely revolving around their relationship. As I said, Tessa has other problems. Family problems, friendship issues, the works.
It's a heartfelt and humorous story that doesn't fail to draw emotion in the reader.
One thing I did notice in this book is the fact that we see Tessa grow as a person. She starts off like a small, fragile girl who becomes a confident young woman. The best part is that she isn't embarrassed about needing help to get to that place in her life; she is thankful for Cole through everything, and is very aware that he has changed her life for the better. Sometimes, it takes a person like that to bring out the best in you.
I think this book is a must read, and a very important read. I would recommend it to anyone.

Firstly I want to emphasize that reading REVIEWS ARE A MAJOR KEY.
This was one of the rare times I have read a book without reading the reviews first. And let me fucking tell you what a fucking mistake that was!! I could have saved myself sooooooooo much fucking time not reading this childish shit.
I probably would have enjoyed this book if I was 11, if that makes anyone feel better.(Lol probably not even then) I should have stopped reading this book after Tessie nicknamed Nikki a 'ho' on the first page. I should have known this book would be childish, immature and downright cringy after that slut-shaming comment. I actually feel embarrassed knowing I read this and that's fucking saying something! A lot of my guilty pleasures when it comes to books are quite questionable and sappy to some but I am never ashamed. I don't even feel like this from the books I have hated in the past from what I remember.
The book was going alright-ish for the most part, until Erica was mentioned. I knew shit was going to be messy after that and not the good kind. When I read how Cole reacted to Erica visiting, I knew this book was going to go downhill for me. But when I fucking read that Cole kissed Erica back, no actually fucking scratch that. When I read that they nearly came close to having sex, it was a straight DNF. I am not going to finish this disaster of a book after that. Why the fuck would I be okay with that??? Why would someone still like this so called bad boy hero after he cheated on his girlfriend, the girl he supposedly loved since he was a boy. No. I am definitely not fucking okay with that. Absolutely pissed off I gave this book a go, I want to be reimbursed for the fucking time I wasted on this shit story.

Extremely exceptional love story that I'm so, so inlove with it! Cole and Tessa made me all crazy with all their antics and swoon-worthy moments! Craving for a whole lot more!!
