Do you have Vampires in your life? Have you ever had the experience of talking with someone, and when you were done you felt like the energy was sucked out of you? Or, have you ever felt like you were that person to yourself--that your own frustrations or negativity has worn you out and cast a shadow over your life? In Dancing With Vampires, speaker and life coach David Strauss explains how to become consciously aware of the Vampires in your life and how to remove their influence over you so that you can begin to function at your highest potential--allowing you to live an emotionally-rich and fulfilling life.
For anyone looking to take hold of their life and start the journey of becoming a happier person, this book is one of the best first steps you can take. This book teaches you that you can identify and begin to address the vampires in your life, whatever they may be. David offers plenty of support and encouragement along the way. His thoughts are shared with an intention to give readers the guidelines they need to make the changes in their life, without having to spend hundreds on other self-help books or classes. Bottom line, this book makes you think and realize there's more to life out there than what you see, but that doesn't mean you can't reach your goals. I recommend to anyone and everyone looking to make changes in their lives, big or small. It could be the sign you need to start moving towards a better you.
Over the past weekend, I had the pleasure of meeting David at a meeting with our publisher and had a chance to hear a little bit about his personal transformation by way of a near fatal accident. As someone who has also thrived after my own near death experiences, I felt a very strong connection to David and his message. I was immediately intrigued about his journey and eager to jump into his book, "Dancing with Vampires."
In it, David brings spiritual/energetic topics down to earth so that the reader can make use of the wisdom he has attained through his own practical application of these truths. I especially found the charts and graphs that were included to be helpful. They help to quantify some of the elusive mysteries behind "energy vibes" in such a way that the reader may now have a practical set of guidelines to use in order to "quantify" how various activities and things affect our own life force so we can prepare ourselves for a constructive path and also recognize many things that perhaps no longer serve us, and giving us a way to measure the impacts of these things.
"Wow! Why didn't I think of that?" is pretty much what came to mind, because I too work with energy and overcoming, as a shamanic energy healer and guide.
I am proud of the work David has put together in this piece and highly recommend it to any person in a body, but especially anyone who may be on the road to recovery and anyone who is looking to self-help out of any situation that feels "stuck."
