Man, I was born in the wrong decade. I love the cars of the '50s, everything from the appearance to the huge engine sizes. This book is a pretty comprehensive collection of all the American cars manufactured during the decade of the Fabulous Fifties, and includes lots of details about the cars and their manufacturers. Also, I loved seeing the advertisements for the cars. The style of writing back then is so different from the current style, and it cracks me up but it also makes me long for the simpler days.

A really fun book if you are old enough to remember the 1850 cars. I especially liked the coverage of the minor makes and the use of contemporary ads as illustrations.
