Broken Strings #3 08/22/2020
Ok Abby and Miles have finally gotten together but there’s still secrets that are going to come between them and not just his sister. After Kennedy plots and schemes she finally gets what she wanted. Abby leaves and goes home. But miles isn’t ready to let her go so her goes after her. So enjoy another short read and see how they work it out and what’s next!!

Broken Strings Review
Broken Strings picks up right where Heart Strings left off. Just as Miles thinks he knows the truth about Abby he finds out he’s been lied to again. But even though he knows why Abby is with them on the bus tour and he’s got feelings for her he still has a little doubt in the back of his mind about her motives. But then his manager, Eddie, gives Miles a motive of his own to use Abby. So although neither Miles nor Abby are lying to each other they are both keeping secrets. Secrets that if the other found out could damage their relationship beyond repair. And damaging Miles and Abby’s relationship is just what Kennedy has in mind.
Kennedy is an evil witch! Does she hate Abby or is she protecting Miles? We know she’s spoiled rotten and an all-around mean person but it she so vile as to try and ruin her brother’s happiness for no reason? Maybe not.
Ms. Bailey takes our emotions on a roller coaster ride in part two of the Lust List: Miles Riot series. Lies are told, feelings are hurt and confusion reigns supreme. One minute Miles and Abby are on cloud nine and the next they are running as far away from each other as possible.
But the good news is that by the end of the book they both come clean about everything. And I mean everything including a very big secret that Miles and everyone in the band is trying to keep quiet because it has the potential to ruin their careers! Now that Abby knows Miles’ secret will Abby sell him out to Lust List for the Fifty thousand dollars or will she stand by Miles despite what she learns about him?
Another great read and I’m already salivating waiting for the third and final book to be released!

A Review of Broken Strings: The Devon Stone Prequel (The Lust List: Miles Riot, Book 2) by Mira Bailee
Secrets and Lies - 5 stars
In this second book of the series, we pick up where we left off in the first book. I'm quickly coming to the conclusion that I don't really care for Kennedy. She is the one that snoops on Abby's computer and tells Miles that Abby is working for ScanalLust. Instead of confronting Abby with his questions, he goes to Eddie (their manager) and tries to have Abby sent away. Miles is attracted to Abby, even if he's not sure he can trust her or her motives.
Abby had considered giving ScandalLust information that couldn't hurt the band for the 50 grand, but she just isn't the type of person to do things like that. She hates the paps as much as the guys in the band. We learn more about Abby in this book and what makes her the person that she is.

I am fairly new to the Lust List books, but I have enjoyed all of them that I have read. This is the second one In Miles' and Abby's story, and it was as good as the first one.There is some sex, but there is also a story line.
Miles is a rock star and Abby is a journalist traveling with the band. While Devon makes a few quick appearances, the story is mostly about Miles and Abby. Miles has always lived the rock star persona of having a different woman every night, and he is surprised about how he feels for Abby. Abby has never really even liked Rock music, but she likes Miles and his music is a part of him. There is also a bitchy sister (Miles') and plenty of horny fan girls to join the mix.
When Abby sees Miles apparently doing something he shouldn't, and the bitchy sister fans the flames of disenchantment, Abby leaves the tour and goes home. Will Miles follow her? Read and find out.
Can't wait for the next one.

Abby and Miles both from different world Abby a Reporter / Journalist and Miles heartthrob / secrets of the past .
this is part of an ARC that i had a hard time getting my kindle app to play nice on so took me awhile to get it to behave so in exchange with an honest review .
also what do you do when you have a sibling who wants to hurt you due to trying to keep you in line so you butt into their lives to sabotage theirs .
but what if your boyfriend who finally makes a truce with your brother and makes you go to the woman you hurt both not only your brother but his girlfriend .

Miles and Abby are progressing in their relationship. Kennedy however, is having none of it. She will do whatever she has to do to cause problems for Miles and Abby. They however don't help me each other out by keeping a bunch of secrets from each other. Can Miles and Abby learn to trust each other or will Kennedy get what she's wants?
I'm a huge fan of this series. I absolutely devour these books each time I get one in my hands. I'm rooting for Miles and Abby so hard. Kennedy however is horrible. I don't know how you can claim to love her brother and be as horrible as she is. She is one of thiose characters you love to hate for sure . As always Mira Bailee has done an amazing job and I can't wait for the next book to come out.

This second novel in the Miles Riot Lust List series is even better than the first one. It is filled with steamy, passionate scenes between Abby and Miles as well as unpredictable and suspenseful run-ins with some very bad people from Miles' past. Miles is much more broken than he seemed on the outside. Abby realizes she pushed him too hard to confront his past and this backfires on their very short relationship.
I love that Abby thinks she is fixing him which is just what any other girl her age would do in real life. I also love that Miles can't be fixed by her which is much closer to real life than we often get in romance novels. The mystery of his past and criminal element makes the story so much more complete and gripping to make it impossible to put down. I am so glad that the final installment is finally ready for me to read because the waiting has been killing me!

This is the second book from this serial and kicks off right from the end of the action in the first book. For that reason, this book, cannot be read as a S/A. Also this is not the final part, so there will be more to come.
Another action packed instalment from this serial that I enjoyed.
Yet again, I really do like the lead characters so I'm hoping they'll get their HFN ending.
Broken Strings, has drama and angst (which I feel could have been stepped up a notch), steam, witty banter, baddies and a story that will keep you guessing (I have to say I didn't see the turn about at the end coming.
Looking forward to the next instalment.

Secrets, lies and a devious sister are front and center in the second book in this series. Miles and Abby are growing closer, but Kennedy is doing everything in her power to sabotage this budding relationship. There are still plenty of secrets between Miles and Abby that their relationship may end before it really even starts. Can they learn to trust each other or will they end up walking away in the end?
First off, Kennedy was utterly horrible. She claims to care about her brother, but I had a hard time believing that. I was fuming during the majority of the book because of her antics. I'm rooting for Miles and Abby regardless of the insta-love thing as the chemistry between them works. Looking forward to the third installment.

This book had more surprising twists than what I was expecting. As usual, Kennedy is doing her best to cause problems between Miles and Abby. The chemistry between them continues to grow, and it feels like Kennedy is almost jealous of their relationship. Abby is pushed more and more out of her comfort zone and loving it. Because of Kennedy, Miles believes that Abby has discovered his secret. When his secret is revealed, there were a couple of things I was not expecting. Having the dual pov's definitely makes things more interesting

I loved this book. The interactions and passion between Miles and Abby is outstanding. This is the second book in the Miles Riot series. Abby is thinking about Scandel Lusts offer while Miles takes advice from his manager Eddie. Kennedy has struck with her evilness again in this book. I cant say too much because I dont want to spoil this awesome read. Cant wait to read the next one! I received a free copy for an honest review.

Lies, secrets and rock!
Nice solid four stars for Broken Strings. Miles is quite the character. I can't say much for Kennedy because she's portrayed as such a witch, but Abby is still sweet and true to her heart. Eddie was a mystery that was solved in this installment which is a nice thing. Between the rock music, parties, drugs, and romance, this makes Broken Strings one of those novels where you keep reading just to find out what happens next. Great job Ms. Bailee.

Ahhhh!!!!! This is getting intense. Miles and Abby are slowly progressing in their relationship, but I hate when this happens between two characters. They're not really lying, but they are keeping secrets and that's where they are messing everything up! And then there is Kennedy. I've never like her and I never will. I really love this installment and I am so excited for the next one!

Miles Riot's story continues and as with book 1 I could not put it down.
The drama, the tension, the secrets, WOW, Mira Bailey delivers not only the rock star persona brilliantly but the man behind the hype as well.
Miles and Allie make a strong couple, United they're a force to be reckoned with, I can't wait to see what they do In book 3.

This book was almost a perfect ending to the story, but I want to know more, and I'm grateful to know that there is at least one more part to it...I can't wait to read on to the next book in this series ❤️

I couldn't put this book down. This book began where the other ended. Miles and Abby are such a hot couple together. Miles just needs to learn that Kennedy is only worried about herself and not what's best for her brother. I really don't like her.

Miles and Abby seem to be the perfect pair. But secrets can tear them apart. This next chapter in the "Strings" trilogy is just as exciting as the first. The story is sexy and humor filled, but also brings tears to your eyes. Can't wait to read on...
