Sun Jing has a massive crush on a girl she sees at the bus station—feminine, blonde, and absolutely adorable, Qiu Tong is everything Sun Jing desires. F/F manhua about two high school girls in Beijing. Cute and not afraid of being silly, which makes it a fun and engaging read despite it not having a very well-defined plot. It's not completed yet, but because of the slice-of-life nature it doesn't feel like a story cut in half either.

This is an online serial manga which focuses on a F/F relationship which builds throughout the story. I had heard good things about it and it was very sweet and the art was nice. It is ongoing though so right now it just leaves you hanging :(

Every week I go running (or, the equivalent to running online. mousing?) to the latest installment of this ongoing manhua. Its matte painting and character design is gorgeous, humor always on-point, and it's fluffy enough to get me scolded by my dentist. Each update is fairly short, but sometimes we luck out with a longer peek into Sun Jing and Qiu Tong's lives and growing feelings. Mophead and secondary characters' antics are filled with humor, too! No matter the length, each fix leaves me wanting more. You should get addicted, too!

5 stars. The fact that we’re more than likely are never going to get anymore actual chapters makes me want to fucking sob! I love this manga and these characters so much that I devoured all 200+ chapters in the matter of hours. Mind you there’s a lot of extras and fillers at the end due to the author pretty much being forced to put this on hiatus but still. Once I started I couldn’t stop. The artwork is gorgeous, all of the characters are so lovely, and the sweet love story between our two girls Sun Jing and Qiu Tong is the most precious and pure thing ever. I love them so much. Ugh, I hope we’ll get more actual chapters because this story has me in its grasp and I need more immediately. I love all of these characters so much!

THIS IS THE CUTEST FUCKING THING OK?? Stop whatever you're doing and go read this F/F manhua about two high school girls falling in love and being super cute together! The manga is told in snippets, capturing snapshots of our main protagonist's relationship with her friends, school mates, and girlfriend. My babies are the softest!!! They are the softest sapphic babies in love and I can't get over how fucking adorable they are together! Also, this manga is so freaking hilarious?? It's silly, funny, laugh out loud hilarious, and oh so, so sweet and you should definitely read it TODAY! 5 stars

Okay this is adorable.
This slice of life romance and comedy about two high school girls in Beijing is cute and kind of silly at times, which makes it even more endearing to me.
The art is beautiful and I'm enjoying the story very much, even though there isn't one big plot, it's more like a series of events and things happening. This doesn't bother me at all, in fact it's easy to follow and never gets boring.
Sun Jing and Qiu Tong's relationship is well-developed and sweet as fuck. These girls have all my heart and I want a relationship like that.
The side characters have depth and their own storys, too, which I really like.
The whole story is fluffy and addictive and I recommend this to everyone!

This is such a sweet, adorable story! I'm love with it, and I'm in love with everyone and everything in it! The humour is great! The love story is sweet (that coming from a girl who would rather read about murder than romance lol XD)

basically, this is about two girls who fall in love in an chinese high school setting. i don't think i can describe the plot more than that, since it is a slice of life gl that is hilarious and engaging. 她们的故事 was highly recommended to me by sapphic asians on tiktok so im like well then it can't be too bad and i was not disappointed.
besides sun jing and qiu tong, there are several other important side characters, including my favorite, qi fang, sun jing's best friend who is a gender envy icon and he and sun jing fight like siblings all the time. i love their friendship so much they're so fucking funny

Their Story, Aka Tamen De Gushi aka SQ: Starting From Your Name is a really strong comic that is funny, charming, cute and queer. Tan Jiu really is a master at delivering comedy with in her format. She manages to make a large cast of likable, distinct characters with motives that feel very real for people their age.
I really love this story but my biggest issue is a dramatic moment where SPOILERS Sun Jing confesses her love for Qiu Tong. From there I start to feel like after the rejection I couldn't help but feel like Sun Jing is being a bit creepy and preying on Qui Tongs lonelyness. I want them to be together but by having Qui Tong resist the relationship It makes the dynamic more muddy and really took me out of the story. I don't want to rewrite Tan Jiu's story but I feel like the direction she saw made it way less interesting for me. I want to see them in love not one person in love while the other is slowly going like "I guess".
All that said the most recent chapter has me thinking that issue I have will cleared up and maybe I'll be able to pump this up to a 5 star after a few more chapters (145 as of reviewing this).

Ongoing but rating it and putting on favs because it's just the best. Qiutong and Sunjing are the funniest and have such neat mannerisms! Qiutong's friends are an utter delight and the hijinks that everyone gets up to are a hoot.

It’s technically an ongoing manhua but a chapter is dropped every 1 to maybe 5 months so I’m just listing this as read. Aside from that, this is the adorable sapphic content we deserve. Not only is it cute, it is HILARIOUS. And that art??? I really enjoyed this! <3
