2.5 'What the hell did I just read?' Stars
OK, the writing was passable, either that or I'm too drunk to understand it. An acquired taste maybe!
The heroine, Paige, who we learn nothing about other than she's a bitch, starts off giving a BJ to a man who calls her another woman's name. Cut to scene, she leaves town to live with her cousin and meets Vaughn. Vaughn after talking to her for approx 2 minutes gets her a job at a truck station.
They have lots of hot sex, strange conversations and then of course we have a cliffhanger. Thank fuck it was short.

I seriously could not wait to get my greedy book loving hands on Handled! I have absolutely fallen in love with the dynamic writing duo that is Angela Graham and SE Hall. I have loved all of their previous erotic shorts that they collaborated on as well as all of the novels that each one and has written on their own. So, basically, I am a huge fan of both authors, individually and together. If you have not checked out their work, you must!
Handled did not disappoint. Once again, these two managed to surprise me with their unique sense of story telling and comedy. Vaughn is a sexy, alpha, dirty talking, ridiculously funny, trucker and I kinda fell in love with him.

Yeah, Vaughn made me blush and I loved every second of it.

What can I say? this book is probably the most sexiest, most hilarious thing Angela and Steph have wrote. It was amazing and panty melting. I laughed non stop and it was one of the best things I have read and read by the pair. Vaughn is sexy as sin and I want him. He is MINE!!!! loved every single second. These ladies blow me away.
I think everyone is going to love this.

Challenged by a fellow book friend, I picked this shortie up.
The prologue made me laugh, and set the scene for the entire read...sex, sex & more sex. Now, I'm a big sex fan, but it has to be engaging and wrapped around a good storyline. This is where I felt this book fell a little short, especially as Paige and "Jawbreaker' Vaughn appeared to make quite a good double act throughout.

2.5, understanding its a quickie didn't really care for the story flow nor the cliff hanger. Did think that Vaughn had promise, might have been better for me as a whole book. Won't be reading the 2nd book.

Omg, I got a kick out of these characters. I love Paige. She is funny, and quite entertaining since she has no problem speaking her mind. And her inner monologue could be considered a separate character all its own.
This witty banter that she has with Vaughn is just exciting. I really did laugh out loud about some of their conversations. And lets face it, Vaughn is just as interesting as Paige. With his wit and teasing he is a perfect match for her verbal blows.
She has a past that I really want to know more about, but I am willing to wait to find out what that's about. However, something I can't wait for is this next book because that is perhaps the biggest, wildest cliffhangers I have ever read!! I literally yelled at my computer that that can't be the end. I was just so wrapped up in this short story. I wish it was longer to be honest. I just hope I don't have to wait too long to know where it goes from here.
I personally recommend that if you enjoyed this book for all its wit and humor that you may also like the books in the Wallbanger series. Those characters are as equally entertaining in many of the same ways as Paige and Vaughn.

S.E. Hall and Angela Graham have teamed up for their third erotic quickie. The first two were Stirred Up and Packaged. Handled is being written in two parts and when combined will be a great long novella length story.
It's hard to say without reading Handled, part two yet, but so far this is shaping up to be my favorite of the quickies by these two talented authors. On their own, they write sexy and funny stories and together, the fun is multiplied!
Handled does contain characters from Packaged and although it is a stand alone, I would recommend reading Packaged first if possible. Otherwise, there will be some spoilers if you want to go back and read Packaged later.
The dialogue is witty and sexy. Character development is very good for a novella. Vaughn is a sexy beast with a dirty mouth and I can't wait until part two because I have a feeling he has a more sensitive side as well. Paige lives up to her nickname of 'Firecracker'. She's feisty and quick witted. Try as she might to stay away from Vaughn, she can't help but be drawn to him. Who ever thought truckers could be sexy?
I'm glad part two will be out soon because I'm dying to find out what happens!

Paige is Amelia's cousin and meets Vaughn when she catches him in Amelia's apartment. These two have a quick banter relationship, I loved listening to the insults fly between these two during the entire book.
Firecracker and Jawbreaker are quite HOT Together and I loved reading their CB Radio Chats! Things finally heat up between these two and you're like YES! I mean Vaughn is a hot, dirty mouthed, trucker and Paige is his equal, so you know it's going to be good when the two of them finally hook up.

OMG I loved this book! I was so happy on Sept 30th when this showed up on my kindle and could not wait to dive into it. Anytime SE Hall and Angela Graham collaborate I know that it will be witty, sexy and fun and I was in no way let down!

Paige and Vaughn are a great match for so many reasons but mostly because she is a teeny bit cray and he kinda likes that. Any woman who pulls a 22 on her boyfriend when he won't leave is a girl after my own heart. I love how Paige was very self assured and not afraid to say what she wanted or needed and she didn't take crap from anyone!

The sexiness factor was off the charts! Paige and Vaughn have amazing chemistry and I cannot wait for more from them! Now hurry and get me part 2!

I have to be honest and say I didn't really get into it until the last half of the last chapter. I definitely want to know what happens next, but there was a lot about this quickie that I didn't really care for.
For me, there was no real depth to either character. We don't really know that much about Paige or Vaughn. We know Paige has a sorted history with crappy men and so she's standoff-ish about men in general. She hears that Vaughn is a ladies man, so she just assumes he's a piece of crap even though he's been nothing but nice to her since she stumbled upon him.
Was the sex hot? Sure. If you like the thought of kneeling on a truckstop floor or being slammed up again a truckstop shower wall. It's safe to say, I don't care if Jason Momoa was in full Khal Drago mode, you're not banging me against a truckstop wall. Well maybe if it was him....but still.
Anyway, I'll read the conclusion, but I was not sold on this one.

I am glad I got this one for free...it was fast, sexy and had a witty style of bantering that was fun and yet, needed more.
The story was different for me...don't usually read about truckers...and it started off with promise and gave no clue it was anything other than a little comedy/romance with a mysterious backstory.
I also hate cliffhangers...no patience for them much anymore, especially when the book is so short to start with...and this one ends with a bang (or crash). The title says "An Erotic Quickie" so I assumed it was one complete novella! I'm not sure I care what happens to Paige and Vaughn...at least not enough to pay for part 2. This has become the new norm now...small pieces of stories that we have to keep buying to get the whole thing...and I am not doing it unless they are full length books that continue with a solid epic tale that is more than just sex and light comedy.

SE Hall and Angela Graham have done it again, and I have to say this is my FAVORITE! Typically I cannot choose, but they blew my mind in this erotic quickie collaboration! The story is fresh and new, they bring back characters from Stirred Up and Packaged, and OMG they put EROTIC in this quickie! (I'd give you my favorite quotes, but they are unacceptable, so BUY THIS BOOK!)

Let me say this is my favorite book that Angela and S.E. have written together. Just get ready for Vaughn. Oh that smart mouth of his that just sucks you in. Then you have Paige who give Vaughn a run for his money. Let me tell you I was laughing so hard during this book I loved it! Great quick read. Can't wait for more of there story.

Angela Graham and SE Hall are AMAZING together!!!!! I have loved all their books so far and this on definitely didn't disappoint me!!!! This is a great quicky this will leave you wanting more!!! Paige is a sexy strong potty mouth female who will have you saying hell yes and Vaughn!!!!! Where do I start with him!!! Never dreamed of a sexy truck driver however now I believe they are out there!!!!

I loved Handled. The banter between Vaughn and Paige had me cracking up laughing on almost every page. The two of them together make for great main characters. I think Paige was my favorite. She has a quirky sense of humor, and she's a force to be reckoned with when she pulls out her .22. I like the fact that she doesn't take shit from anybody. The story ended on a cliffhanger. I can't wait to find out what happens next.

Well, blimey! I loved this book! Vaughn and Paige are like a pair of combustible chemicals! They really set each other off. I absolutely enjoyed their smart-mouthed, snarky dialogue but totally gutted that there was a cliffhanger!! I was like, "WHAT??!!!!"

I've never read anything by Angela Graham, though I have read most of SE Hall's books and liked them. However, Handled was just not for me. At all. It was just one of those books where nothing in it really worked for me. I don't think it was written badly though, so I'm sure someone out there will like it.

Part 1 of a fun, quick, hot as hell story that had me hooked from the very first page. Sexy Vaughn is intrigued by the sharp witted Paige even though she tries to keep him at arms length. I completely enjoyed this one and can't wait to read the conclusion. I definitely recommend it.
