Minecraft: Chronicles Trouble in Utopia
Alexandra Stromholt always thought that the Utopia Dimension was simply a myth. She had heard all the stories about the King and Queen that resided on top of the sky-high Tree of Goodness, heard of the giant sword and nigh-invincible suit of armor that they are guarding. She heard of the perfect peace that Utopia basked in, as well as the strange sights that can be found in that heavenly place. But she thought that they were all just stories made to lull children to sleep. She did not believe such a place could exist. Then Steve came along... Take action today and read what happens with Alex and Steve!

Read with my 6 year old that is obsessed with all things Minecraft. This was a quick little chapter book that read fairly easy, minimal errors, lots of action for such a short story. Despite my lack of Minecraft knowledge, I was able to enjoy this with him. The main character was a butt kicking, sword wielding lady bada$$ Which I pretty much always appreciate. There were no instances of inappropriate language or behavior, and the action scenes were never detailed graphically so this book would be appropriate for all ages that are interested in stories set in the Minecraft world. I would certainly be willing to read the next installment with my child when it becomes available.
Rating is based on my child's enjoyment of the story.

My eight year old son loved this book. He is difficult to find books for because he is very choosy so that is saying a lot:) Great book.
