It has taken 11 books to get through 2 of Thor's quests. You are seriously going to drag this sucker out for 10 more?! And the stories are getting worse and worse. (Though the actual writing has improved) Since there weren't enough characters, it is imperative that you add more. And why on earth would you not take the dragon egg with you in the first place? (Of course I will continue reading, but please, oh please DO NOT pay money to buy these books!)

I keep going on about the amount of characters featured in this book and once again three more are added! So this means that Thor gets even less ‘screen time’ … The other characters: Thor’s son who doesn’t actually talk, another bad guy and now it seems another good guy who will probably have an entirely dedicated storyline. We are already rooting for Thor, I don’t like the fact that someone else is going to get involved in that way.

The book: Not one of the best in the series for me. A lot more introspect for the characters and dreams/visions. Not that great battle scenes of magic usage. But I see the next book is already out so I will get on with it.

More of the same; inaccurate editing, misspelling etc. It gets a bit boring actually. This title even has the ubiquitous honour of seemingly being able to transfer genders. Oh, well, dopey me for continuing I suppose.

I am also getting a bit sick of ".....we shall succeed in our quest or die trying....." Do none of these protagonists have a clue?

Book 12

Just as enjoyable reading as the first eleven books, looking forward to the next installment.

Not only are the religious undertones blatant overtones, this author really made the slaves dark skinned and then had one of the new characters, a new slave, say that oppression is only in your mind. Like what? Everyone is in danger. But, like I expected boo was able to heal Eric. He's still sleeping and can't help them so she is sacrificing herself to save him. His sister was super mean to her, but now they are besties. Thor met his mother and leveled up in his magic. Then he and his sky puppy killed all of the other dragons; there is literally only one dragon left and that dragon hatches at the very end of the book. Thor and sky puppy kill all of the other dragons and defeat Romulus's fleet, leaving only 3 ships before sky puppy finally dies and Thor gets swallowed by a whale. But he convinces the whale to let him go and he is found by Gwen. They are reunited for a few hours then he and his bros set sail to try to find Gwain. Kendricks' girlfriend says that Gwen can sail her ships to her home in the empire and that she will make her people hide them. We meet Darius, a slave boy who doesn't want to be a slave anymore and his girlfriend Lottie, who gets kidnapped by an Empire commander who is going to make her his wife. Darius decides he's going to save her. We also meet the teenage ruler of the norther part of the Empire. When Romulus lands there to buy their ships she kills him. Thor and friends land on an island with water and no inhabitants except for a giant spider. Then they set sail again and find an island that has a small boat on the shore, clearly this is where Gwain landed. Thor and co fight everyone they can find because they hear a baby crying and they save it, but it's a girl. Instead, Gwain is being taken up the mountain to be thrown in the volcano. Thor gets close then a mudslide happens and he is again separated from his son. Thor has completely forgotten that he can do magic and Gwain is about to be thrown into the volcano. Gwen and the remaining survivors are sailing and finally find shore, after a bunch have died from starvation. And that's where the book ends. Everyone is still in danger. We have new characters. The plot armor is super thick. Argon is Thor's uncle, but he can't do anything to help anyone. And slavery and oppression aren't really bad if you don't let them be bad apparently. I cannot stand this series. I don't know why I am still listening to it. It irritates me and I am continuing to hate listen.

Byłam bardzo ciekawa nowego bohatera. Ale, nie mam pojęcia po co jest jego wątek, który jest bardzo pospieszny. On z tą laską widział się 2 razy i jej miłość wyznaje. Ona też niekonsekwentna. Najpierw jest taka oschła, trochę można by pomyśleć surowa. Nie jest to typowa dziewczyna. Ale nie, on nagle przychodzi do niej z badylami, a ona hihihi chodźmy na randkę XD. Reszta wątków... No cóż, chyba mam te same zarzuty co się powielają przez całą serię. Infantylność, niekonsekwencja, bohaterowie są niezniszczalni.
I jeszcze na koniec, nowy złoczyńca. Na początku było super, ale pojawiają się takie pewne cechy. Niezdadnieice jakie. Nowy złoczyńca jest do szpiku kości zły. Uwielbiam krzywdzić ludzi, sprawia to jemu przyjemność. Wiecie kto jeszcze był identyczny? Andronikus i Romulus. No wszytko pisane na jedno kopyto.
Przyjaźniej wątku Recce i Starej nie było za dużo, a pod koniec to już wcale.
Ale jak zawsze, mimo mojego zdenerwowania i irytacji skoczę tę serię. W tej sztampowości coś jest. Poza tym to jest chyba 12 książka, już niewiele do końca

A special e-book purchase, I discovered this on Amazon, in my search for fantasy, dragon, and sci-fi reads. I did not realize that this was part of a large series, at the time of purchase. I added this to my GoodReads, as "reading", when I saw that it was book #12! How I missed this, I will never know. That aside...I was reading as a stand-alone book -and was confused as to how it was jumping around to all these different characters, and settings, when I reached the end and said, "What?" So, I just read quickly, again, and took notes! This is a great, well-written mythologically-infused, royalty abounding, numerous romantic connections, fantasy novel! I loved the characters, the dragon connection, but I need to know more about them, now. The blending of all the elements is smoothly done and makes for a fascinating and fast-moving story. I have to find the other 11 books in the series and start anew!

Niedługo trwała moja radość związana z pojawieniem się matki Thora, których spotkanie zapowiadano już od pierwszych tomów. Tych dwoje wreszcie się spotkało, ale… Ich spotkaniu i rozmowie zostało poświęcone niestety niewiele stron. Długo czekałam na ten moment, ale nie spodziewałam się, że to będzie jednocześnie pierwsze i ostatnie spotkanie Thora z matką. Nie jestem zbyt zadowolona z takiego obrotu spraw.

Nie jestem też przekonana co do faktu, aby w tym momencie serii wprowadzać do fabuły nowego bohatera mającego mieć ogromny wpływ na to, co będzie dalej. Seria się przedłuża, autorka jedne wątki kończy, a drugie dopiero zaczyna w momencie, w którym historia powinna powoli dobiegać końca.

This one wasn't my favorite for many reasons including some of the decisions that were made and then the ending. Really the offspring of Mycoples and Ratibor wants to destroy the world?! (sigh) Also Guwayne is put in a boat in the ocean? Carried to the top of a volcano? People turning to stone on the boats!? Its like about 5 other books/stories that we have seen before in this one. I will take a break for a bit before continuing on.

Multiple typos and repetition. This series is terrible, it was good for like the first 8 books or so, but afterwards it seemed it was just being dragged out. With Darius and the new enemy, Volusia, the book just wasn't the same since Volusia is nothing like Andronicus was and Darius was completely separate from Thor and the others. The only reason I'm still reading this book is because I want to see how it ends.

I have the bundle, 10, 11, 12, but wanted to say that despite the errors, it's an imaginative and engaging read. It is too short for the money, but an obvious marketing ploy.

#12 takes the story into new horizons and I wonder where the series will end. Please tell us what happened to the leopard.

Plenty of errors but still enjoyable; just needs an editor.
