I wanted to like this, but it took 200 pages to set it up so there was very little time left for actual action. I thought some of the characters (Ron, Gayle, among others) were unnecessary and added a lot of superfluous pages that could have been cut or turned into something more exciting. There’s a lot lacking in this story that could have made it more interesting to read. I would not categorize this as a thriller, and the blurb on the back cover is misleading. Overall a big disappointment.
