Where Good Means the Best: 70 Years at Frank's Bake Shop

Rate this book
On October 17, 1945, Frank's Bake Shop opened in Bangor, Maine. The Soucy family might not have realized just how enduring the business would be-how it would become a cornerstone of the community, how three generations of the family would craft it into a symbol of quality and pride, or how its very name would become synonymous with baking and culinary perfection. Now, to celebrate 70 years in business, the Soucy family tells the fascinating story of the seven decades of hard work, perseverance, success, and steady expansion of Frank's Bake Shop with this collection of photos, along with engaging tales and amusing anecdotes of what happened along the way.

A short history (as of 2015) of a popular local bakery, that makes amazing bismarks. It was interesting, and I enjoyed the plentiful historic photographs. It was interesting the way the bakery has changed over the years.
