The Cat Cafe'

Rate this book
Playful and Sensual Trinity Peters has three great loves in her life; books, cake, and mostly cats - her CAT CAFÉ in Nottingham allows her to indulge in all three. Amiable, attractive and ambitious, she knows what she wants in life and sets about making it happen.

Everything is going nicely for her until a handsome London type, with the suits to match, enters her café by mistake one evening. Nothing would ever be the same for her again. Blake Lawrence is a well-heeled banker who loves to play big city games. He wouldn't normally venture too far from the bright lights of London, but business interests direct him to the East Midlands. He meets and is captivated by the sexy, mad cat woman.

When I described myself to my friends, I called myself an introvert, and they laughed so hard I should really be offended.

I also consider myself to be very lucky, as although born in Britain, I spent my formative years mostly in Kingston, Jamaica, with a long detour through Toronto and Nairobi. I married my college sweetheart and we have two kids and a cat. I LOVE cats.

I've come full circle and live in Nottingham, just 12 miles from where I was born.

My writing reflects all that I am and where I've been. I love mixing cultures and seeing what happens.

So cute

Ms. Foster gives us a complex and sensual romance that is cute! Trinity runs a cat cafe. Blake is a posh banker. From the outside, the pair has NOTHING in common. But appearances can be deceiving…..Blake has a secret but he also has a big heart. Trinity is innocent and easy going but she has hidden depths. The book is very detailed and we dive into their lives….it is in turns funny, heartbreaking, empowering, uplifting and even suspenseful. I totally enjoyed it.

Good story with good.twists

You'd think that a story about a cat cafe would be quirky and a cozy mystery about a spinster but this romance is a bit different with unexpected and interesting twists. Pleasant read.

A delightful romance with cats! What more could a person ask for? I really enjoyed this book and the lovely English setting. Ms. Bell has a engaging story filled with likable characters, some steamy moments, and a cafe where people can interact and adopt homeless cats is front and center. All in all an enjoyable read that any feline and/or romance fan should enjoy!

If you are a cat lover this book was written just for you! Takes place in England. (I love reading books that take place in England). Really cute love story. The concept of the "cat café" is from Japan and seams like a fun one. A bit of deception, drama, and standing your ground........ and a fair share of cheese chips (fries).
