Someone gave me this book when I was about 10 or 11 because it had my name in the title and was 50 cents at a garage sale (Thanks, Mom!)

This is not a book for 10 year olds. But I loved it! High school theater kid drama, lots of references to plays, Ivy League college applications, teen romance, and cancer (specifically, non-Hodgkins lymphoma.) It's a really random book, in retrospect, but I think I've always remembered it because I've never read anything else like it. If you have a voracious YA reader (or you are one) I recommend checking it out.

Recently orphaned teen, & currently residing with family but having difficult time adapting then tossed into a whirl of social activities then falling someone that already has a girlfriend, what's a teen to do...
Another one I haven't read years but my daughter thought it humorous...
