Having traveled along on my father's seven year journey with Alzheimer's Disease, I have shared my personal story of what it was like up until the end.

Silent Whisper - Parrish Locke, a 27 year-old fashion model never expected her life would be forever changed on that dark, snowy winter night when her car spun off the road and into a cemetery in Chester, WV. She meets someone in that cemetery that awakens Parrish to a gift that she has, and thus begins their journey back to the 1980's where some unfinished business awaits them!

The Man in the Mirror is such a significant title for me. I am a nurse, and the field I’ve worked in for the 7 plus years I’ve been nursing is memory care. I care for those with Alzheimers and Dementia. It’s what I do and it’s what I love to do. I’ve seen so many patients look in the mirror and not recognize themselves. Some, like Smith’s father, have conversations with this stranger. Some get aggressive thinking that someone is out to get them. I’ve actually had to cover all the mirrors in one of my patients rooms because he would try to hit the mirrors and started screaming at ‘that man’ who was invading his space.

All proceeds from this boxed set with go to support Alzheimer’s research. It’s a cause that is so near and dear to my heart. I love what I do and I love my patients but it is heart breaking to see someone lose their memories. Someone not recognize a family member. To see someone who was the kindest person their entire life scream, curse and hit you and other staff members. It breaks their family’s hearts. And there is no cure. It can happen to anyone. I love that this author is taking something from her personal life and giving back to help others.

The Man in the Mirror is a box set of Smith’s Limbo series. If you enjoy paranormal books, this is a set I highly recommend. It’s engaging and captivating. I loved looking through the past and these stories through Parrish’s eyes. The stories are romantic, they’re original, there is mystery, suspense, twists and turns. I love the unique paranormal romance that is in it. Support a great cause and pick this one up!

Man, oh man. This was a crazy read for me. I wasn't sure how I felt about knowing what became of one of the characters from the very beginning but as I read on., I just loved these stories more and more!!

I have never read a story with time travel and I must say it was super cool of Ms. Smith to do this! What happened to Karlie was very heartbreaking but though I knew what her ending held, I was kind of wishing that it wasn't so throughout this read. But, Ms. Smith still gave me that happy ending I needed, when Parrish, Karlie and Dominic finally got their closer.

Parrish didn't know it but there are two people in her line that are about to take her for a wild ride. I mean, literally... Her body was hijacked by a woman who appeared to her after her car accident. Memories are shown to her of a love that was sweet and lost. Everything Parrish knows about her life is changed and the quest for answers, leads her to meeting her father and helping her mother finally move on.

Okay so really... I loved this story!! Marco is...yum!

Karlie gives Parrish an assignment and she doesn't know how to tell her photographer boyfriend about it. Who wouldn't think you're crazy if you tell them that you are going to be helping ghost make it across limbo.. So, Parrish doesn't tell him but gets her father to help her. Her dad being... a dad, doesn't like the situation and bring in someone that can help Parrish solve her case and bring about justice... Marco Trevani!

He is super hot and sexy and so right for her but... she has a boyfriend.

When things so south with this 'boyfriend' (that scum) Parrish agrees to a physical relationship... but Marco is way too charming to not fall for.

Drea, these stories were super awesome and I am so glad that I read them! Very emotional reads for sure. But, there are parts that will have you literally laughing out loud!

Silent Whisper (#1 book of Limbo series)

Its the first paranormal book I have ever read, I don't really like the genre, but I read this one because Andrea wrote it and I loved it!
The whole idea of the book is awesome, I never caught it by the blurb of the book, so I didn't think it would be a paranormal book and after all it isn't... sort of...
The characters are very well developed as the story in itself, so it really was a book I couldn't put down until the end.

This is the #2 book of Limbo series and you MUST read #1 so you can totally get the "aura" of this series!
Like I said in the review of the #1 book, the idea of this series completely blew my mind!
In this one, you get to know better Parrish, a beautiful model with a nice (NOT) boyfriend (I was so mad at Ryan at some point in the story!!!) and Marco Trevani Jr. a handsome, sexy, hot Italian, FBI agent with a very nice surprise.... HOT!
Oh and Taz!!! I was delighted to ear about him again!!! :)
Its amazing how the story flows and how much you want to know about what happened to that person!
The suspense, the thriller, the sexy hot steamy sex scenes, of this story will make you read this book in no time!

Such a great story and was hooked from the start. Have read a few paranormal books but there was something different with this authors style of writing. I will definitely be reading more books by this author.

Silent whisper we are introduced to Parish Locke who after having a car accident awakens a gift. A gift that gives her a different outlook on life.

Clouds in my coffee is book 2. Parish is given another assignment but how do you explain to your boyfriend that you are helping someone cross over. But she needs help and that comes in the form of the super sexy fbi agent Marco "he soooooo dreamy" Trevani, he pushes her buttons.

I had tears of laughter and sadness whilst reading these books. I highly recommend them.

Limbo Series #1 Silent Whisper

My heart is in limbo, let me tell you. Just WOW!! I'm trying to find the appropriate words to explain to you, the reader what I have just experienced.

This story sucked me in like a vacuum. I was taking on a journey back in time, reading this book through the eyes and memories of Karlie. Jesus Christ powerful just doesn't seem to cut it, let me have a think.

This book goes beyond storytelling, it's like I just took a voyage through someone else's life. Yes it's a story and having these feelings can only reinforce that this author is indeed a magnificent writer but all these emotions I was experiencing from a book is just hard to comprehend.

Parrish is in a car accident and what she experiences after that is going to be hard to believe but yet it is believable just open your mind. Let this story take you where it took me.

Karlie such a beautiful woman, definitely had the worst start in life but she's strong, a survivor, like the cat with nine lives and we all know what happened to the cat.

Dominic such a handsome man, scrap that he's strikingly attractive. His features are so exceptional you can't help but be impressed. Unfortunately he's living a life that is unmentionable. He doesn't seem comfortable with it but continues to live it.

Belle is a wise woman, seen the world with a view very different to you or I. She's the closet thing Karlie has to a mother, no matter how inappropriate the circumstances. Belle gave Karlie and her best friend Lana a job when they left college. She's looked after them the best she could and obviously wanting a better life for them both.

Lana is a lovely girl, sometimes forgetting where she came from or maybe she really does want to forget. Her love for Karlie is one thing that's guaranteed. Friends forever, not just words they have the deepest meaning.

Walter completely misguided but all for love. What would you do for love? These people come together in extraordinary circumstances.

As you can tell I could talk about this book all day long. It's a book that has made a safe haven in my memory bank and a special place in my heart.

The greatest book I have read and I've read some amazing books. This has touched me deeply. I've kept it completely spoiler free and that's not easy when I want you all to know about this story.

My ending to this review has to be. DOWNLOAD TODAY! I've laughed, cried great big ugly tears. I've felt sadness mixed with happiness. It's a must read.

OMG!! Andrea Smith I don't know how you wrote that but you did and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing this heartwarming yet exciting read.

Limbo series #2 Clouds In My Coffee

Seek and you shall find. The truth will always come out, well it will if you have Parrish on your side.
Do you believe in ghosts? Maybe you are sceptical but want to believe.
Parrish has a very special gift that helps solve some mysteries from long ago. She's never in any danger but when travelling back in someone else's memories to seek the truth it be scary even for the reader.

I have enjoyed this journey I have taken with Parrish. It's what we call a real page turner, then I'm devastated because I read to quick and the story has ended. Us readers are never happy, we always want more. I am praying for more in this series.

Parrish meets FBI agent Marco Trevani. What can I tell you about, Marco. Hmmmm!! Okay although he is drop dead gorgeous with a body to die for, he seems to really annoy Parrish. I think he just put the wrong size boxers on, Oh! he doesn't wear any. Marco prefers to go commando. Well hell yeah!
You know the real problem? Attraction. Parrish is beautiful and Marco is handsome. Imagine the chemistry these two have. Fireworks bright and loud enough to set your kindle on fire.

Marco believes in Parrish and tries to unravel the truth. After all there are always consequences when someone commits a crime and Parrish is determined to help out Cece, a friend of her late mother.
It's all very strange but yet heart warming. Imagine feeling like you literally just step into someone else's life.

Remember Dominic from Silent Whisper? What you haven't read? OMG!! You need to, well Dominic now going by the name Nick is over the moon to have Parrish in his life. Quite frankly me too.
He is older now but still as hot. Him and Marco in the same room. GULP! Blood pressure just gone through the roof.

This book has it all. Mystery, laughter, sadness, romance, suspense and the sex scenes. You are in for a treat. Put it this way you will not need coffee to stay awake and read this story.
I one million percent recommend this book. Must read so add to your TBR, even better download today.

Box set of two of my favorites from 2014! I loved both of these books!

Silent Whisper:
If I could give this book 10 stars I would. Paranormal romance is not what I usually read, and when I first heard this was a PNR I had my doubts. But, Andrea Smith erased all doubt and wrote a bittersweet, heart achingly beautiful PNR that will stay in my heart forever. This was not a far fetched story for me, I believe there is more to life after death, and Andrea Smith captured that to perfection. I don't do spoilers, all I can say is this is a must read. It's not only a beautiful romance, there is also a dose of humor, plenty of angst and wonderful characters you will fall in love with. I cannot wait to read more about Parrish!

Another exciting, heart wrenching, and sexy story from Andrea Smith. Andrea can do no wrong, her books never fail to amaze me. I'm not much for paranormal, but when it's a story like this one I enjoy it very much. Parrish Locke is a young woman with the ability to talk to spirits and help them find peace so they can go to the other side. Even though this is a work of fiction, the story is plausible, it feels authentic. The characters are fully fleshed out and the things they think, feel and go through are relatable.

I love the character Parrish Locke, even though she is a gorgeous model who has the world at her feet, she is humble and not always sure of herself and her abilities and that makes her that much more endearing. Her inner monologue will make you giggle, she is just so adorable. I also enjoy her interactions with her mom who has passed on but continues to be a force in her life.

This is just a well written story, it has everything you could want in a book, relatable characters, a great story line, and some sexy time to spice it up! I highly recommend this book and anything that Andrea writes, she does not disappoint!

I wasn't sure at all what to expect when I started reading this box set. I came out of it absolutely blown away by it if I'm being honest.

Silent Whisper

This is the first book and it introduces us to the main character, Parrish. Following an accident Parrish experiences something which totally changes her view on life and her future. By visiting the past she gains a brand new outlook on her present life. It also helps her to reconnect with people she would never have known had it not been for her accident.

What she experiences is extremely well written, it flows well and it made me smile all the way through.

In this book Parrish is given another 'assignment' and she finds herself needing a little more assistance. That assistance comes in the form of Marco Trevani, a very hot FBI agent. Cue fireworks when he and Parrish tend to wind each other up.

Again the storyline is very well written, characters old and new are all very well written. I really enjoyed reading these two stories and honestly can't wait to see what the author comes up with next.

This series by this amazing author will have you gasping at every page. The turmoil with the characters between lightness and darkness is just an awe. The reality between life and death not to mention unfinished business with loved once that are lost is just a creation that you will have pick up and read for yourself.

Silent Whisper Review: In my opinion this is an interesting take on the past. Instead of doing flashbacks which I usually find hard to to read. I find the stories very choppy. This is a story about righting the past. I found this story fun, a little sad and happy at the same time. I also I found a little suspense. I liked Karlie and how strong she was and how she was willing to do what she needed to protect herself. Dominic is not your normal mafia person. He was willing to lose everything to protect Karlie.

Clouds in my Coffee Review: This is a continuation of Silent Whisper. It's a different take on writing the past with a little twist. Karlie gives Parrish a job to help a soul to crossover. Andrea Smith gave me suspense, mystery and little sadness.

I found this series full of suspense, mystery and a little steam. I enjoyed this boxed set. It had it's moments of bittersweet and tears.

Wow!!

I've had this set of books for a while now, I kept putting off starting them. Omg I wish I had read them sooner. The first book took a little while for me to get into but in the end I absolutely loved it!! There is something I totally didn't see coming in that book and that is so rare. I prefer slightly more detailed sexy times but still loved it. The second book was awesome start to finish. I want more!
