Great resource for anyone struggling with diet bullshit or on the recovery journey from an eating disorder. Actually just any women who hate their bodies, which is sadly so many. It's a very compassionate read by a great Aussie author who has been through thick and thin literally and has finally come to adore the skin she's in.
Being involved with body positivity and self esteem therapy for a while now, I have read other books on the subject and completed a few work books too.
None have been as concise but still packed with helpful information and advice as this one. I recommend it for those who are just starting out on their positivity journey as well as those like me who need refreshers from time to time. It's simple, but powerful! I especially love the quotes at the end of each chapter.
I had to take half a star off because I think it would have benefitted from one more round of proofreading. But this won't distract most people as much as it did me since I proofread professionally.
