Jeannette grew up in a large family, number ten out of eleven children, eight of them being older brothers. She quickly developed a great sense of humor, mostly from necessity. One of her greatest joys is sitting on the porch where they were all raised and hearing the stories from years gone by. Quietly laughing to herself, she notices how they embellish the stories more and more each year.

Storytelling was passed down from her grandfather and mother. Jeannette caught the bug at a very young age. If she didn’t have her head in a book, then she was off somewhere with a notebook, jotting down stories of what she would write if one day she became an author. Although the notebook may have vanished, the stories are still vivid and waiting for the right time to be told.

Despite having an amazing family, there have also been some sorrows in her life, including the loss of loved ones. Over the years, Jeannette has spent countless hours volunteering for different organizations and acting as a caregiver to those dearest to her. As a result, supporting the elderly became of utmost importance.

As she approached a milestone birthday in 2015, she decided to take her passion for writing and blend it with her desire to continue to help others. As she writes her stories, she hopes they touch someone’s life. Within the layers of the romance, the foundation remains throughout and is one that is dear to her; make a difference in someone’s life each day!

In 2016 she met someone who encouraged her to push herself even further and try her hand at spicy intrigue. One year later she has four books in this new series and each one pushing her limits just a bit further.

Like the wind, Jeannette’s life changed directions several times over the years, yet one constant remains: her desire to leave this Earth a little better than when she entered it as she tries to live by these words, Make your mark on the world today as your acts of kindness is all anyone will remember in years to come!

I am at lost, I don't know how I will write this review without giving out spoilers so I'l be quick...

I like the story between KJ and Drew but I guess I love Ross and Jill's more. I enjoyed how the two of them came in an understanding and the way the romance was built between the two of them. However, there was a few things that I wished was elaborated more just so I could understand why the characters acted and reacted the way that they did. I was also hoping to find answer in this book for that something in the previous book that left a question to my mind.

I heard there is still a next one. And I'm looking forward to it and maybe get to know everyone else more in there.

The further into this series I get the less I seem to be enjoying them. I have one more to go but if there are more after this I'll be giving them a miss.

This is the 5th book in the series. Each book is a standalone about 5 friends and finding love. If you have not read the other 4 books, you will be a little lost with the characters and how they connect, but would be ok to continue to read this book. Book 1, "The Billionaires Secret: Betting on You" was is free. I love Jeannette Winters writing. The characters are very detailed as well have depth and growth. You can connect to the character and the environment around them too. Each story gives the warm fuzzies. I would encourage anyone who like the happy ever after (HEA) story to read this series. I have already read each book twice I like them so much.
Overview: (may contain spoilers). Drew as watched each of his four friends fall in love in the last two years. He swears he will not be the next one. But he knows that there is an attraction between him and Katherine (KJ), who is Jill's friend and his friend Ross's girlfriend. KJ and Drew met at a fundraiser where they were donating money to help people who need service dogs. Most of the people needed the dogs for emotional support and help the emotional side as well as the physical side of ptsd. Drew an KJ had a connection then. They both were shocked that they could connect to each other since neither of them knew one another or their troubled pasts. KJ calls Drew and lets him know that her friend Jill is in California and waiting for Ross to come and find her and want Drew to help Ross (who is in NY) to think of where she might be. But Drew doesn't want to be involved and have it back fire on him, so he hints that he wants something out of the deal. KJ offers dinner the next time he is in town, which is two days later (special trip). The dinner is a disaster, and KJ thinks Drew has left, only to find him the next day waiting for her at her house. Drew encourages another lunch. When the lunch is done, Drew knows the cards are stacked and he wants everything. He offers KJ to come to NY (with Blossom) and go to his friends wedding (book 1 characters). KJ goes, knowing that she will lose her heart and be risking a lot. When she gets to know everyone, she realizes what she has missed the last 2 years suffering with ptsd (lost of losses in her life) and how Blossom, her service dog has helped her, and now how Drew and his friends are helping her. She is even more shocked when their past comes full circle and she has to fight more loss and help explain the true vision of "Takes one". An Amazing group of friends who do amazing good.

I have read this entire series and followed this author since her debut. Her writing has improved so much that I find it so hard to put the book down. The story flowed smooth and you felt like you were vested with the characters. The best part is the books intermingle so you are always up to date on all your characters. This book is the 4th book and it covers Drew and Katherine (KJ). Although all the males were a playboy of some extent, Drew was the confirmed bachelor. Because of his childhood, Drew was the love them and boy did he and leave them before any attachments type of guy and he was OK with that or so he thought. Drew's parents were less then loving and his father came out and called him his biggest mistake and it was his fault that he had to stay married to his mother so Drew was not going to go down that road. Katherine was a US Marine trauma nurse and proud of it, ready to make that her career until her sister called and asked her to come home because she was dying of cancer. Katherine dropped her career to go home and take care of her baby sister until her death. After her death, KJ felt lost. She had no one until she stumbled upon Blossom in the park one day and he adopted her. Turns out Blossom was a recovery dog and he latched onto KJ because he sensed her need. What we find as the storm unfolds is the connection between Brad and KJ. For those that have read the entire series you will know who he is. She has already fallen in love with Drew and he her but once she figures out the connection will it be too much for Drew to accept. Will the others accept her having known a side of Brad that they didn't know. Those are all answers that you will get but I am not spoiling it for you. I loved this book. I laughed, cried and yes wanted to punch Drew in the mouth a couple times and throw my device but I didn't and I am glad that I didn't because this book along with the series is a MUST read. Hopefully it is not the end.

This is the fourth book in the Betting on You Series. In this book it follows Billionaire Drew Navarro and trauma nurse Katherine O'Malley.

Meet one hot drop dead gorgeous billionaire Drew Navarro. Drew always believed life was a gamble and he was all in. When it came to money Drew would lay a fortune on the table without hesitation.

Drew risks anything to win big. That excitement was all Drew craved and needed that was until he met Katherine.

Katherine has spent most of her adult life caring for others as a trained trauma nurse. After she suffers her own tragedy, which she lost everything and all she had ever loved. Katherine was left feeling broken, lost and alone.

Drew decides he wants to have her and he would have to break all his own rules and put a huge amount on the table than he could walk away from, He can't walk away from his heart.

To be with Drew, Katherine would have to believe a player like Drew was worth the gamble.

Together they discover that they could have the ultimate prize-winning jackpot--true love. Could they work through their problems? Can Drew change his view on Love and can Katherine overcome her fears of being alone and have their happy ever after.

I love how Jeannette Winters writes. It definitely helps to break the stigma of the rich and the poor in different worlds.

There should be an option for more than 5 stars as i would definitely give her more but have to settle for 5

I have grown to love Jeannette's work. If you read the first all the way to this book, you will see how she has grown as an author. I love all of her books. Her stories just throws you into them. You sit here and just live the lives of these characters.

Reading Billionaire's Longshot was so much fun. I felt a pull to this book that I have not had in any previous books. That's not saying I didn't love them. It just mean this one had a different effect on me. I was enthralled into this story so much that I forgot it was not real. The emotions were high and strong. The need to want to comfort KJ and yet not be able to hold her was upsetting. Never had I read a book where I sat there and cried because it felt so real. You hear stories of vets telling about their time served in the military. But Jeannette made you actually feel as if you live it KJ.

KJ - By far my favorite Heroine. On the outside she is strong. Always willing to help. Craves to be loved by Drew. On the inside she is broken in a sense. But never give up.

Drew - I EFFIN LICKED, BIT, and SMACKED HIS BUTT. So he is mine ladies. I didn't think Jeannette could beat Ross's story. But omg just saying Drew's name is just giving me an orgasm. Just damn Jeannette.

I so recommend you to read this book. If this does not get her on the New York Times Best sellers list I don't know what will.

Trent, Jon, Drew and Ross found out that Brad was not as interested in making money as they were, he wanted to help those in need and had a vision on how it “Takes One” to make a difference.

In book 4 we meet the fourth billionaire bachelor Drew Navarro. He believed life was a gamble and he was all in. He made his money by laying his fortune on the table with no hesitation or regrets. And then he met Katherine O’Malley.

The Billionaire's Jackpot by Jeannette Winters is book #4 in the Betting on You series and what a great addition!! Drew Navarro is an easy going man who is a billionaire. Drew is not interested in getting into a serious relationship with a woman but that all changes when he meets KJ(Katherine O'Malley). KJ has had tragedy in her past and she is hurting. Helping KJ cope is her trusty dog Blossom. The feelings Drew had for KJ through-out the book kept me interested and the depth of emotions were great. One great point about this book explores the depth of sorrow people experience and how animals can help with this sorrow. The reveal about KJ and Brad surprised me(wondering who Brad is read the series to find out you will not be disappointed!!) and the scene between Blossom and the little boy had me me crying, what feelings! I really encourage you to read the whole series, I am sure you will enjoy it just like I did. Jeannette Winters is a very talented author to me. A winner!!!!!

Once again, a winning book from this series. KJ is a former Marine trauma nurse that has seen her share of heartache in her lifetime, namely the death of her little sister. Drew is a billionaire that believes he does not have the ability to love because of the issues his selfish parent still have to this day. This is a wonderful story of how they both come to terms with their emotions and help each other become what everyone else knows them to be. And as usual, the towards the end of the book, they lead into the last book of this series. I can't wait to read the next installment.

The Billionaire's Jackpot is Drew and Katherine (KJ)'s story
Drew is an easy going billionaire who seemingly does not have a care in the world that is until he meets Katherine.

Yes to the yes!! So it's the last book in the series and I'm sad. Yes all the dashing hot billionaires have found their perfect women. I'm sad because I'd love to see the vision of their departed friend come to life. It's funny how stumbling into one person can just put all the puzzle pieces together and form the big picture. KJ happens to be the missing piece not just for Takes One but for Drew as well. It was a good story and made a perfect ending to the series.

This was my favorite of the series. Although you can read this as a stand alone you will enjoy it more if you have read the other books. This book made me cry and I was not expecting that. I've seen this author grow in her writing with each book and I hope she keeps writing for a long time. This is one you do not want to miss out on.

Drew and KJ story was just perfect. I showed how being alone is no longer a future with the right person by your side. It shows how giving forward is a hearts work in man and animal. Blossom uncanning ability to sense need was perfect. I may have wanted to cry. Great ending to finding and fulfilling a friends dream.

Not my favorite of the series. Way too much internal dialogue for my taste. Seemed that the characters never communicated with each other or cut one another off when they are trying to say something important. Didn't feel the same spark between Drew and Katharine as I did with the other characters in the series.

Very inspiring

Often romance novels give us a sense of romance and fantasy, but this gives more to the soul. Blossom made me cry and I am not one to weep. It touches the romantic while uniting the reader with the imperfect life all of us lead.
