Grace- I’m a shell of the woman that I once was. Tim Hall took it all away from me. My confidence. My Light. But, he wants more. He wants my life. Kyden Hart wants to bring me back. He wants to love and protect me. But, what happens when it’s his demons I need protection from?Kyden- Ive had my eyes on Grace Mackenzie for longer than she’s known. I’ve seen her at her best and been there for her at her worst. I’m not a good man. My should is filled with darkness, and a past full of regrets. But, I’m selfish and I want her. God help anyone or anything that stands in my way…because I will destroy them.
Ra’chael Ohara was raised in small town, Bellevue, MI. She married her soul mate at nineteen and moved to Lansing, MI where they raise their beautiful daughter. Her love of reading is what eventually drove her to sit down and write her very own alpha romance series. When she’s not typing away on her computer she loves being surrounded by her loud, rambunctious, but sweet nieces and nephews.
The second part in the Falling for Series. This book is great. The main character Kyden reminds me of the character Derek Morgan from Criminal minds the way he speaks to the lead female Grace.
They are both fighting their demons from the past and Grace is fighting with herself from falling in love with Kyden. When her past finds and nearly kills her Kyden has had enough and goes away with her until her crazy ex is found.
Grace discovers her inner and outer strength and always lets her walls fall down to let Kyden in. Will he be there for her when she needs him the most??
I really enjoyed this book but was completely turned off in the scenes where Kyden tells Grace to call him 'Daddy' during sex!! The sex was smoking before that!!! Maybe it's just me but it was an immediate cold shower moment. Other than that, it is HOT HOT HOT!!!
every book I read by Ra'chael keeps getting better & better. This book had everything. Romance. Suspense. An OTT alpha that'd do anything for his woman. A sassy heroine who was fantastic. Don't hesitate to purchase & read!!! Can't wait for Luke & Cherish's story. *** ARC gifted to leave an honest review***
another fabulous 5+ Star read from Ra'chael Ohara!!!
This book can be read as a stand alone but i HIGHLY recommend reading Falling for Cade. There are parts of this book that refer back to events that happened in book 1 and you dont get the full story in Saving Grace. But do not mistake that for me thinking this book was bad because OMG it totally was not!! I was hooked basically from the end of Falling for Cade I knew i would have to read Saving Grace. So when starting saving Grace once again Ra'chael had me engrossed in the story from start to finish.
Grace oh Grace... She's gotten herself in a bad relationship and isnt letting anyone help her. She thinks she can take this crazy guy on her own. How wrong she is!!!
Kyden ... this hunk of a man wow where do i start? He has a dark past that he doesnt talk about. When it comes to Grace hes kind of possessive but man oh man he just wants to keep her safe.
Grace is stubborn, hard headed and sometimes you just want to strangler her. I cannot give you much about this book without giving away parts that you need to read to understand. Lets just say there was a point i was relieved when the threat was out of the picture and thinking they would be getting their HEA and then BAM something else happens and you do not see coming from a mile away. I was completely shocked at the last 10-15% of this book as well as the damn ending. Of course Grace gets her man but Ra'chael knows how to end a story that is a cliffhanger but yet its not. You will want the next book after Saving Grace. I know that I do. Cannot wait to read Cherish and Luke's story to find out whats going on with her.
This is my first book by Ra'chael Ohara and now I have to go back and read book one, as well as all future books!
Saving Grace is well written, it flows easily with no slumps in story line and is well paced. The characters are well rounded and while it can be read as a standalone I'm intrigued enough by the secondary characters to go back and read book one in the series. Grace's situation was handled quite well in this book, while domestic abuse could be a trigger for some readers, her story is told with a light touch, the focus being on her taking back her life. Kyden is another great lead, he sat back watching and waiting for the woman he wants, respecting her relationship until he figured out what was going on. After trying to help her through it she pushes him and everyone else away. Without understanding why she's doing it Kyden refuses to give up on her, eventually figuring out her secret Kyden is right back at her trying to get her to talk, to get the Grace he knows back.
Enough before I spoil something!! I loved both Grace and Kyden but the secondary characters are just as great. I love that I have something to look forward to with the next book because I came to know the characters involved through this story.
This was my first Ra'chael Ohara book and honestly, I don't know how I have not heard of her before!! I loved this book, and now I will have to go back and read the first book to get a little back story on it. Kyden, ohmygod, Kyden, can I have one of him for myself. He knows that something is wrong with Grace, but she will not clue him into what is going on. He knows that she is damaged, skittish, and is slowly fading before his eyes. Grace doesn't know how much longer she can contain her fear. What started out as a couple little text messages a day, turned into multiple text messages a day, along with photographs to let her know he was near. But when one night goes too far, Kyden is left to save Grace from her house, and go into hiding afterwards. Will Grace finally see that Kyden is there to have her back and will never leave or will he get caught in the crossfire of the storm that is brewing?
I received an ARC copy of this book for an honest review. I have been waiting for this book since I first read Falling for Cade which was an amazing book. Let's just say you can describe the chemistry of Kyden and Grace with one word "HOT". I love it when I'm reading a book and you feel like your part of it. I was not let down by no means, it was an outstanding book. Ra'chael O'hara you did it again, can't wait until Cherishing Luke comes out. I would recommend Saving Grace and all your other books to everyone to read.
Enjoyed it. Has everything I like. OTT alpha male who is also possessive. Pretty good storyline. Likeable characters, the only thinking that didn't do it for me was the plot twist. Could have left that out. But I love this author and can't wait for another book
