This novel surrounds around a boy, named Mrinav who is from a middle-class society. Mrinav is an introvert, down to earth and a caring boy, who takes care to keep everyone happy all the time.
One fine day, Mrinav encounters a question from his best friend, which drags him into a flashback, reminding of his past infatuations and love. Mrinav had a series of infatuations within a short span of 7 years.
This novel is a description of how these infatuations develop into love. Love (Infatuation) at first sight, Infatuation converting into one-sided love and then finally the departure. He was heartbroken often trying to persuade the damsels. In his memories journey in the past, Mrinav cherishes the beautiful and memorable days he had in those years of experiencing young love.
The novel describes how Valentine’s Day, Birthday and a few events got converted into memorable days of his youthful life.
As the time pass by, his life changes to a certain extent. But, his love seeking heart doesn’t take rest. Mrinav goes through a mixture of love, infatuations and illusive emotions. His craziness among his cab-mates while traveling to his office can be felt at different parts of this novel.
Apart from Mrinav, there are a few characters in the story that make this story lively. Jatin, his best friend takes every care that there is no one to point a finger at Mrinav. The group included Jatin, Suzi, Omi, Shoeb, Sanjay and Sameer. They all knew that Mrinav was sentimental, who would give party at any point of time, and that too without any reason. Jatin is keen at every instant, trying to persuade Mrinav for unusual party almost every weekend.
Mrinav’s greatest villain is his introvert nature that at one point of novel will leave him stranded alone. At various instances in the novel Mrinav would be felt missing the last train of his life, flirting with girls, cracking poems and a few unnecessary activities.

The Unpredictable heart - You may be a victim by Moksh. A romantic fiction. A soft and short love tale of Mirnav, an normal chap who working in IT. From the separation to his finding love of his life, the novel says pretty sweetly that what it requires.
From other usual love tales I think this differs by way of story narrative by keeping what it just requires. The author had used just only one hundred and ten pages to finish the work, which itself an major difference I think you agree in end.
The story starts as a flashback where he elaborating his one sided loves and life style to Jiya who is Mirnav's love of life he founded at last. Its pretty like a story listening from your friend, which doesn't bores you nor contains attractive one-liners added to mesmerize and keep you engages.
".. Separation became a routine for me. Greeting with one name and goodbye with another word was one of a kind.." This line which had touched me so much and can't stop sharing to you.
Apart from narration, the language is also simple author's simple English which makes your read more lighter.
My rating for "The unpredictable heart" of love, friendship, break up is 3.5/5.
I was travelling to pune when i select this book to read, I was searching for many books and suddenly i found "The Unpredictable Heart: You May Be a Victim" I used to travel and the best friend for me is reading books, The best part of this book is the character, when i was reading this book i feel it happen in my life too i feel I am in collage and feeling all old memories with me. It is really a heart touching story I must say about author a big thanks for giving us this book.
I want to read more about Mrinav because this book is incomplete and I was getting interest on Mrinav life. Waiting for next release.
I give 4/ 10 stars to “The Unpredictable Heart” by Moksha published by Partridge.
This is supposed to be a love story. Title says “YOU MAY BE A VICTIM” which is prophetic. Indeed the readers are victims here of bad writing.
This is the story of Mrinav. In the beginning he sitting in front of his girlfriend Jiya waiting for his friend Jatin to come. Jatin has never been to a girls’ college and it is apparently a big deal for him to visit one. Then the story goes in flashback 7 years ago. Mrinav works in a call center and there are lots of friends. Many girls Neeti, Rati, Alka, Ankita etc come in his life. He is attracted to them but somehow never able to express himself. Thus he is forever alone. Finally he finds Jiya. What happens next and how he deals with heartbreaks is the story.
These is nothing new or exciting in the book. In the beginning Moksh says that these are real stories with the pinch of some exaggeration and ask us to put ourselves in Mrinav’s shoes and enjoy. I can neither put myself in his shoes nor enjoy the story. Losers like Mrinav are dime a dozen who falls for every damn girl who comes in their contact. They are in one sided love and when it is not reciprocated they go into depression.
To top it all English is bad. There are grammatical mistakes and Hindi is used liberally. Some examples:
1. The words from Jiya had pushed me on my back foot by seven years. 2. Could you please come out 2-3 steps from your house. 3. His heart has been brittle this time as well. It broke and, and this time it shattered him from within. 4. Spit your anger now.
Please read the acknowledgement and you will realize the origin of this Pandora’s box.
Well to be frank I am not a reader type but believe me when I started to read 'The Unpredictable Heart: You may be a victim' I almost finished half of the novel @ one go which is not normal for me ;) The writer moksh had beautifully bind the characters which will make you feel to know more.
Its a great story...simple yet beautiful..you will feel as if it is your own story..Once I started reading the book, I couldn't take my eyes off it and finished it then and there..its such a gripping story..well done author..an excellent debut !!!
Story in a nutshell: The Unpredictable Heart is a story of Mrinav and his love life. He works at a call center and does his work quite well. Mrinav falls in that category of age wherein one has many crushes and infatuations. He develops feelings for Rati who reveals to him the news of her marriage the day he proposes to her. Time flies and he finds himself interested in Ankita. He never gathers courage to convey his feelings to her. She leaves the city for Chennai. Mrinav is heartbroken. Is he able to get hold of his life and move on? Who is Jiya and why does she want to help him?
Review: The cover of the book goes perfectly well with the title as well as the story. Red is the color of love - the right color for a love story novel. Coming to the story, the story of The Unpredictable Heart is simple and heart touching one. It is written straight from heart and doesn't have many twists and turns. The frankness of the author is visible at many places. It is a perfect book for readers who enjoy reafingreading romance. Moving on to the narration, it is done in first person narrative. The narration is simple and you'll like the simplicity from this novel. The language is simple and the dialogues seem innocent and sweet. There aren't many main characters. Though the story mentions a few throughout the read, they aren't the backbone of this story. You'll fall in love withMrinav's innocence and Jiya's maturity. You'll envy Mrinav for having friends like Aditya and Jatin. The Unpredictable Heart is a good read for all romance lovers out there. The story is about love and companionship. It has many lessons to give but you need a foresight to grab them!
Merits: The innocence in the story. The story has an open end which very well makes us expect a sequel. Waiting to hear from the author the announcement of a sequel.
Demerits: There isn't a specific blurb. Lines from the story are taken and put on the cover. A blurb would have been good. Also, the font size of these lines are very small and hence, unreadable.
"...Separation became a routine for me. Greeting with one name and goodbye with another word was one of a kind..."
Title: The Unpredictable Heart Author: MoKSh Publisher: Partridge India Pages: 130 Price: Rs 299 The Unpredictable Heart, was truly unpredictable.
MoKSh is an IT postgraduate. He is a explorer, dreamer. After the success of www.acebloodbank.com, he shifted his focus tobhis next dream, i.e. to create his creativity into a substantial novel.
BLURB: The unpredictable heart is a story of Mrinav's love life. He is a guy like each one of us, falling in love with every girl. His potential heart often doesn't know how to handle situations, he falls in Jiya at last. To know his tragic live story buy unpredictable heart from here: http://www.amazon.in/Unpredictable-He...
REVIEW: When I first saw the cover, I got a vanishing Idea about the plot, how a heart will be broken just by a whiff. The cover is obviously attractive as well as narrative. Cover: 4/5 Now coming to story, I was a bit disappointed by the plot, I know the book was published in 2015, so it clearly explains the plot, anyways the author isn't at fault. The plot could have been far more interesting than it was, what is done is done, it can't be changed. I hope the author does not repeat the same mistakes in his next novel which I am eagerly waiting for from now only. Story: 3/5 There was only one main character in the novel, which was time to time accompanied by many other characters such as Jiya, Jatin and etc. A person can consider himself with mrinav, he will surely relate to him. However, many will surely grow a bond with mrinav and his love life. The main part of the novel was the ending, you can for sure love the ending, without considering how tragic it was. Ending of the novel made it look above all negative points. Ending: 4/5 There were many printing as well as grammatical errors in the book. I hope author notices them. I don't know if it's the editor or writers fault but the author need to be more careful from now onward about such mistakes. I loved how author made it quiet simple for the readers to read and connect by providing some really good quotes in every few pages.
At last, we all are expecting another novel from MoKSh, please consider this sir and keep updating us.
As goes with all love stories around... they're so predictable and yet Moksh claimed that it was about love with unpredictable heart and a victim too. I took the book "The Unpredictable Heart: You may be a victim" (published by Patridge India) wondering whether the author is living up to his promise or not.
The book is a romantic love story of Minrav who keeps falling in love and falling further in despair about not being successful. The book is partly fiction and partly real. And no, we can't guess what's real. One can say that this is the story of most of us who lead tragic love lives. However, what happens in the story? To satisfy your curiosity the blurb will be provided in the end, but right now here's my take on the book.
What I liked:
-Simple language with racy style of moving the story ahead -In the middle of the book one gets conditioned into knowing that he will fail in love -The anti-climax was like getting a foothold suddenly at the edge of the cliff and the book ends. It was sudden and abrupt and the reader can't do anything about it. I am curious what happens next and so I think a sequel is called for. - Light reading
What I didn't like:
- Mrinav is shown as introvert in the blurb characterization, however having been around introverts, I can hardly agree that introverts can crack jokes and chase girls so easily. Just because they don't express their feelings doesn't mean they are introvert. Puts the character perspective wrongly portrayed as introversion. - In the middle of the story the predictable failing in love gets monotonous though the author continues to hold reader attention with the conversations. - The book cover is predictable - they could have made it really uniquely striking to match with the title. Also, the fonts are too commonly used ones.
Overall the book is a good one-time average read ideally targeting the YA reader but its the anti-climax that's showstopper or the book stopper. :P
Buy it from Amazon.
The blurb is.....
"The Unpredictable Heart - You may be a Victim," is the story of a boy named Mrinav who comes from a middle-class background. Mrinav is an introvert, down to earth and a caring boy, who loves to keep everyone happy all the time.
One day, Mrinav encounters a question from his best friend, which drags him into a flashback, reminding him of his past infatuations and love. He had a series of infatuations within a short span of 7 years.
This novel is a description of how these infatuations developed into love. Love (Infatuation) at first sight, Infatuation converting into one-sided love, and then finally to departure. He was heartbroken often trying to persuade his lady loves. In his memories, Mrinav cherished the beautiful and memorable days he had of experiencing young love.
The novel plays between fantasy and reality describing how events like Valentine's Day, Birthdays and more, get converted into memorable days.
And as his time flies by, his life goes through all the usual metamorphoses. While his love-seeking heart refuses to take rest. Mrinav goes through a mixture of love, infatuations and illusive emotions. His craziness with his cab-mates while traveling to his office adds spice at different parts of the novel.
Apart from Mrinav, there are a few other characters in the story as well adding the comic relief. The group included Jatin, Suzi, Omi, Shoeb, Sanjay and Sameer. They all knew that Mrinav was sentimental, who would give party at any point of time, and that too without any reason. Jatin is keen at every instant, trying to persuade Mrinav for unusual parties almost every weekend. He, being his best friend, also takes every care that there is no one to point a finger at Mrinav.
Mrinav's greatest undoing is his introvert nature that at one point of the novel leaves him stranded all alone. At various instances in the novel, you would feel Mrinav missing his last train in life, while flirting with girls, cracking poems and indulging in unnecessary activities.
‘Unpredictable Heart’ is a love tale, which revolves around the two main characters- Mrinav and Jiya. The title of the book is fine but the punch line- ‘You may be a victim’ confused me. This line could have been omitted. The cover is not up to par; it is too simple to be interesting. Just when I thought that probably the blurb would offer something interesting, my expectations were crushed. I wonder what is the reason behind including the dialogues from the story as one-liners of the blurb. It is not only baffling but also aimless. This book, being a product of Partridge, had set high hopes in my mind. But the grammatical mistakes and the weak formation of sentences served as a recipe for disaster. However, I would like to compliment the author’s ability to present this piece of fiction in a language that can be understood by everyone. The organization of content is fine but the lack of twists and turns makes one’s mind wander every now and then. The two lead characters fail to complement each other.
Mrinav is apparently an introvert who likes to crack jokes and drools after every girl who comes in his life (quite contradictory to being an introvert, right?) Opposite to him is Jiya, who is smart yet sentimental. Their story surely leaves a lump in the throat but the climax was too filmy to be called as a cliffhanger. The narration is finely tuned and paced.
The plot is gripping but the major drawback lies in the extended content about the conversation where the protagonists try to express their feelings towards each other. Here, to be clearer, I would prefer quoting Doris Orens- ‘Not everything that you want to say, needs to be said.’ It is high time that the authors realize that penning down each and every minute detail that is either inspired or adapted from a personal experience, makes the story boring and can result in turning the odds against you. The book is more like a conversation and the story gets lost somewhere there. This book, no doubt, is a quick read and the reason for this is the presence of numerous dialogues.
The plot lacks originality. It is very much predictable and might be liked by the ones who prefer mushy love tales/ college romance. For the ones who are looking for something deep and meaningful, this book might or might not serve the interest.
Another point that I would like to highlight is the abrupt ending of the book. The book lacks proper editing and proofreading as one can encounter punctuation errors and the wrong formation of sentences- time and again. There is frequent use of Hindi words rather Hindi dialogues, which might act as a turn off for the ones who prefer reading rich literature.
There is a difference between how commas and periods are used (inside or outside quotation marks). In American English, they are generally used inside the quotation marks while in British English, they are generally used outside the quotation marks. This aspect has been completely ignored in this book. I hope it gets rectified in the second print of the book.
"YOU'VE LEFT ME I'VE BEEN SO LONELY I TRY TO LAUGH AND END UP, SELDOM CRYING..."
How do you feel when you yourself becomes the victim for series of heartbreaks?? Do u feel like living anymore?? What if some1 rejects ua love proposal? Will you ever dare to fall for someone ese in your life? or you still love the one who had broken your heart?? The story "THE UNPREDICTABLE HEART, YOU MAYBE A VICTIM by MOKSH" is a simple but enthralling story that portraits the life story of Mrinav, an introvert boy who always wished to love and being loved.. This story is a really a short one and what makes the story an unique one is the way the characters are crafted for the story. The other main characters of the story are jiya, Jatin, Akash,Rati,Akhil and Ankita.. Readers could find themselves in story within each characters.. Eventhough it is of fictional genre, author had given a realistic impact on the story by way of its plot and narration... Mrinav works as BPO in a call center and twists and turns comes into his life from there. He had fallen for many girls within a short span of 7years and every1 was just an infatuation/love at first site for him except Jiya because no lady love had developed the same feelings of love for him except Jiya...Destiny always gave him a fate of heart break and unfortunately he became the victim for a continuous heart breaking... But still his feelings of infatuation and love had never changed... He always found a crush on the next girl when the other girl moves on... But it was in this circumstance, he fell into a serious relationship with Jiya where she falls for him too.. Will destiny let then to be together forever?? Does their love story become a successful one?? To find out the answer You have to read on the story. The story tels us how an infatuation turns into a crush and a crush turns into a true love. As well as it gives us a message that True Love comes back if it is destined to.. Apart from a romantic fiction, the story also portrays on many other elements like Friendship, parental relationship and all..There aren't much twists and turns in story, but the way story really had a surprise ending. It really filled my eyes with tears... Talking about its title and cover page, its really awesome.. The perfect title as well as coverpage to the story. In cover page there is a lady holding a heart of some1 and she is blowing the heart slowly. This is really intriguing to the life of Mrinav. His lady loves and destiny were really playing with his soft heart and it was getting broken by many ladies day by day...And coming to its title, a perfect and attractive one... Positive Aspects:- * Simple and easy read.. * Not too much of twists and turns cus too nuch of twists and turns can make the readers more confused.. * Well crafted characters and story plot..
Overall a nice read and highly recommended to all readers who are looking for a best fictional work..
This is a real story with fictional twists. The guy named Mrinav falls in love with three girls and every time he fails in it then a girl named Jiya enters his life and his life changes for good. Author has included poems in the story which are quite good. I won a signed copy of this book in a contest and complete it within a day because of it’s short length.
The plot revolves around Mrinav, a simple guy working in a call center who has his own definition of love and eventually had a crush on every beautiful girl. He falls in love three times but fails and it broke his heart every time. Then he decides to give a break to his love life and suddenly Jiya enters his life. She brings happiness with her and fills Mrinav’s life with light. They were very happy in their life when something terrible happens and the novel ends. I think the author will write another book to continue the story.
This novel is a good one time read and can be completed in a single go. There are two reasons for that. First, the book is really thin (I hate thin books) and second the language and narration are very basic and simple. The book has an unexpected ending which I had not imagined while reading it and so it makes me curious about the next book. I think I have to wait to read this story completely.
The title depicts today’s generation, how our heart always does unpredictable things and gets attached unknowingly to random people. Many teenagers can find themselves in these pages.
The cover of the book is really beautiful and sweet having a red and white theme.
All in all, you can give it a try if you are looking for a book to kill time.
The Unpredictable Heart is an interesting romantic story. It tells the story of Mrinav and his search for true love. Mrinav works in an IT company and is famous among his friends for being easily attracted to any new girl.
The book shows how Mrinav time and again falls in love only to lose out at the last moment. He thinks of himself as being unlucky in love but destiny has more in store for him. Thanks to his friends; who like all true friends tease him mercilessly at times but are really rooting for him; Mrinav tries to deal with each situation as best as possible. When the situation becomes too tough for him he moves to a different city and gains new perspective and comes back to Delhi with a new zest for life.
I think millennials will enjoy this book since it talks about the importance of friendship. The book deals with the work culture as it exists today where your colleagues are sometimes your best friends.
The book is a short read and I enjoyed it though it did sag a bit in the middle and occasionally the prose is jerky. I feel there was scope for a bigger story as some characters, especially Jiya are not well developed enough. We don’t get to see thing from her perspective at all. Another tiny grouse that i have is grammatical mistakes but I think its partly because the author was striving for realism since no one speaks in proper grammatical English all the time.
I loved the twist in the end which made the book come alive again for me. All in all a good story but it had the potential to be much better.
"The Unpredictable Heart" - stand out to be perfect for a debutante author. But, talking about its readers it lacks the connectivity that one need!
Cover :- Attractive as well as eye catching!
Title :- Totally related to what the story is all about!
The narrator has melted his heart and poured it on the pages, flipping it one by one. From the very beginning to the end, the plots plays Flip and Flop with the readers minds. Writing style has opted out to be very simple, and can be understood by anyone who grabs it in their hands. Tragedy, stories, scenes, and up-comings events, these things will surely puss the readers to complete your book in one go!
P.s :- Though, it was author's first work, he should have nourished his/her baby in well possible ways for the better views! Grammatical errors with use of Hindi language in between the stories, were marked as a negativity in the reviewers minds!
Apart from that, the story is written in well mannered! and, if a newbie gives in a read, he will surely avoid the mistake and will fall in love with it!
Wishes, all the luck to the author for his upcoming work! Kudos!!
the front cover page of the book is white stylish and written with red and black ink.girl is picturized showing that she is blowing heart into different pieces.it is patrognisrf into worthy live heart.back cover of the book is giving special taglines .the letters on both the cover page is catchy and even attractive in its own firm.back cover page also included biography of author.in all it's decent in look.
my verdict:
this book is written by author moksh story is all about a boy named minrav.a friend stages him into flashback and reminding him of his past.he believed that love is magic but after first love at sight bad experience he came to know it's all factuation.minrav is backed by first bad experience. he enchants his friendships with Neeti,Rati,Alka ,Ankita and jiya.its not about so many friendships and feelings for them but anything he loved about love is magic.something or other author has kept mystical appearance of the book with avid shades of shayris.which continues the charm for reader.minrav's bittersweet emotions turns into raw feelings but Atleast it creates magical charm.its descriptive skin a novel with vivid essence of factual creations.somewhere it also hits most sensitive chords of a being.i suggest to read this book as it depicts a character of soft convolutions of untouched minds....
TITLE- it is about today’s generation, how we are unsure and so is our heart.
COVER – it goes along with the title. simple and sober.
ABOUT THE BOOK – how the heart is fickle and keeps on changing, curving throughout the lifelines, but in the end is there always happy ending or not?
it is the story of the guy, who thinks it is true love and falls apart his heart over and again, and affects his life. Now jiya, when she enters his life, he is a calm and changed person now, will that remain or something will again destroy his life? read the book to know more about it. The little poems and abstracts were very lovely and added to the beauty. It is a book that rages emotion and keeps it through, some places you can actually feel very emotional, that is an amazing job done by the author, the last few pages keep you very much glued to it.
and a signed copy just makes it so very interesting to read it!
I dove into this book not having any expectation, and this book proves to be pretty decent.
How many times in our lives do we locked eyes with strangers and before you know it you're head over heels infatuated with them? That's right, most of us go through that and it's no surprise.
On to this book; I do like its plot, only I wish there was more depth to its main character's thoughts and emotions as he goes certain phases in his life. Not to mention, at times I feel like the main character is a bit stiff, and I wish he was portrayed as someone who's more independent and decisive especially when it comes to voicing out his feelings. I would appreciate it as well if the author actually includes translation for non-english dialogue, though it wasn't so hard to guess what's going on at the end of the sentence.
Overall I think this is a good light and fast read.
I got this book for free in exchange for an honest review. Thanks to the author.
The story revolves around a young adult, who is attracted to every girl he sees and thinks that he's fallen head over heels in love with her. After a series of unrequited love experiences, he meets a girl - Jiya - who happens to fall in love with him. And the chocolate boy protagonist, Mrinav, falls in love with her too. The story lacks details, and only thing that's interesting is the climax - Or should I say anticlimax - which is open ended, meaning that the rest of the story will probably be told in the next series but I sincerely hope that it won't have poor grammar like this one does!
The best part of the story is its ending. The author doesn’t finish the story, infact, he makes a way for the next part and we are left in thoughts in the mid air. This particular line might take away your sleep for sometime until the author comes up with the second part:
"What I saw was unbelievable and the unexpected; the lady standing at the door was Ankita."
Rating 3.5 The first thing that catches your eyes is the title and the beautiful book cover. The story is simple and revolves around a simple Indian boy who loves unconditionally and cares too much. He falls in love and his heart breaks but he is strong enough to love again. Every time he loves with same intensity and his feelings are real. And when he finally finds the love of his life, his life takes a tragic turn. But overall it is a nice story.
One of the best narrations I have ever come across from a debutant author. Very simple, subtle and to-the-point story-telling. Very close to reality and any one can easily relate to it..thats why it is aptly called 'You may be a victim'.. Brilliant work..MoKSh.. Will eagerly look forward for next masterpiece! Keep up the good work!
Heart is such a beautiful thing. It is one of the most delicate organ and so is its complexities that make it all the more precious. Our minds are a bird of passage but heart is a caged bird. It is willing to open its arms and break apart its shackles to one who can shower light of affection upon it.
The Unpredictable Heart is a splendid piece of romantic fiction by MoKSh. MoKSh was born in New Delhi on March 16,1984, in a middle-class family. After the success of the social website http://www.acebloodbank.com which created a buzz in his last organization, he shifted his focus to his next dream i.e. to convert his creativity into a substantial novel.
SUMMARY- The story entirely revolves around Mrinav, the protagonist. He is portrayed as a gentle, warm-hearted and lovable boy. He yearns for love. In his search, his heart is broken several times. Those heartbreaks shatter his spirit and he is devastated. He feels low and depressed. The spring of happiness arrives when Jiya enters his life. She boosts his morale and brings him out of his despair. Mrinav finds the ultimate love of his life and both the love birds promise to stand by each other’s side, no matter what life throws to them. But one accident changes the track of Mrinav’s life! What is it ? Read the novel to find it out.
REVIEW- The simple and crisp plot of the book makes it interesting. The storyline is well crafted. The predicaments of a human heart are illustrated nicely. The battle one needs to wage against oneself in order to move on in life is described explicitly. The manner in which the story takes turns leaves the reader to wonder at the beauty of novel.
In a nutshell, the book is worth a read and a place in your hearts..!
The story revolves around Mrinav, a common man who has his own dreams about love but eventually ends up with the decision that love is not his cup of tea after facing severe disasters in his love life. When finally Mrinav ends up with a decision that he is far far away from love, Jiya enters his life unexpectedly and brings not only the light to his life but also brings back his lost ( lost...only those who read the book can understand ) capability to love into his life. The story moves on further with the answers of whether Mrinav was able to find his destined person and whether his ultimate love made its way to marriage.
Cover page :
The catchy cover page forces you to immerse into the novel and the cover page sums up what the author wishes to reveal through his story. The combo of red and white colour adds more essence to the cover.
Review :
"If you are destined for a man, no matter how many times you fall for others or how much you pull yourself out of that relationship, destiny always leads you to him".
Starting from infatuation and ending with untold love, the author has created a smooth platform for the story to move on. This novel is a good one time read and can be completed in a single go with an unexpected ending which we had never dreamt of and so it makes our wait worthful for the second part of the book. What is the real heartbreak? To open up your love and being rejected or being rejected for not opening up. Mrinav undergoes the both and finally ends up with the decision that he is unfit to love or being loved. Friends like Pawan and Jatin who always stood behind Mrinav in hard cores, serves as example for real friendship. And every reader dreams to have a partner like Jiya who deeply understands Mrinav and be his only light when his life pushes him into dark.
The title of the book justifies the story with a warning that you could become a victim. The author uses simple language and helps to easily comprehend. The self narration of the protagonist on his infatuations and love is a page turner. Though Mrinav puts out all his efforts in his every love story, he fails miserably and it creates a soft corner for him in every readers heart. Every characters of the novel plays vital role in moving the story further. But the character of Alka could have been avoided as it forbids the coherence. What if your only way to live shuts down with an unexpected suspense? Get ready to dig out your answers in the second part of the book.
The unpredictable heart with an unpredictable climax.

Review:
The Unpredictable Heart aims to be a romance novel, but unfortunately, tires the reader out halfway through already. I, for instance, couldn't go past the first 30 pages! (Don't pay attention to the time-span I have set here.)
Why? Well...
The editing is weak, weak, weak.
The story; weak. I appreciate the writer's effort though.
And the presentation, i.e. the prose is the weakest aspect of this novella.

Overall, 2/5.
Final verdict:
It's another average entry in the romance genre in India. Hence, can be skipped. Also, it's really high priced at an MRP of ₹299.
I'm sorry, dear author.
Note: This review is strictly my view of this book.
P.S. From the reviews here, I got a rough idea of the story. That says something. MoKSh, please work harder in your next book.
You can can crush an infatuation but not the true love is the bottom line which stands out after reading the book. The book tells an interesting story of a boy named Mrinav, who finally finds his love in Hiya, after facing many heart breaks. Mrinav is an introvert with fine cravings for love and being loved. Mrinav managed to get over many infatuations in span of 7 years. Each time his heart was broken ,he finds some other bee flying over honey. How his love story proceeds? What twists would it take? Where both the love birds end up while being in love? Are some questions justifiably answered by the author. Pros : Narration of the story is fluent. Language is lucid. Character are well crafted. Ending of the story deserves a handsome applause .
Cons:
Editing could have been better. Some of the Hindi dialogues look out of the context and not elaborated efficiently.
This is a simple story but with great emotional connect. Moksh has made me travel to my past. When I say this, I am sure that even you would be travelling to your past for sure to rewind your memories.
Mrinav is the protagonist and despite being surrounded by some good friends, he always had this complex of not looking great. He falls in love with few girls in the so called journey of life but never emerges successful.
He was almost about to lose his hope when he finds some one special. Who is this person and how she had come into his life is the story. Moksh has used events that would sound so realistic and it seems that this is an actual combination of reel and real life incidents. The book has surely made me connect with my past which I would say is the real success of the story.
Review – ‘If someone is destined for you, the universe automatically paves the path which leads you to that person. No matter how hard you try, you will end up getting what is there in your destiny.’
Mrinav’s life moves a circular path, starting from infatuation which is followed by love and ends up in a heart break. He travels both the roads diverged in the wood, the one of confession and the other of unconfessed love, but nothing leads him to his ultimate destiny of true love. Getting up every time he fails, he feels that love is just not his cup of tea. Finally when he meets Jiya, who accepts him the way he is, the destiny winks at him.
Will he be able to escape the evil eye of universe and finally find his true love?
Will he be able to find someone who understands him and loves him back without giving another heartache ?
Read THE UNPREDICTABLE HEART to find out.
What makes the plot special is the major twist the story takes towards the end which is totally unexpected. The Author saves the suspense and the end makes the reader eagerly wait for the next part.
The language is easy to comprehend and the narration is beautiful. The characters are wisely chosen. Though there are some mistakes in editing, the feeling of the novel overpowers it. The Author did a great job in making an emotional connect with the reader which makes the reader skip a heart beat towards the end.
The cover is no doubt very eye catching and makes you read the book as soon as you see it. The title very beautifully conveys that the most unpredictable thing is heart and the warning ‘You may be a victim’ seems very apt after reading the complete story. Overall it is an amazing cuisine which is beautifully presented and served with an amalgamation of emotions and love.
