Wow! Have to say I really enjoyed this step- brother romance,the authors Cailtin Dare and Alyssa Alpha threw in an unexpected twists or two that certainly kept you involved, not that it was hard to be involved with the plot line to start with!
Lina Diaz could not believe she let her friends talk her into coming to an underground MMA fight, her mother would be so dissapointed in her if she knew, but guilt suddenly changes. To a bit of a thrill when she feels eyes on her and abut the same time the crowd starts chanting Score! , Score! Coming down the aisle close to her is the contender they are cheering for obviously well built but unable to see his covered face, but something about him draws her in, in reding her desire to see him , when he removes his robe and hood and looks straight at her the connection is instantaneous !
Lina finds herself rooting for Score and making eye connection between rounds . Lina finds herself waiting for him to come up the aisle after he wins the fight and Score holds no punches , he point blank tells her she is coming with him; before she can have any second thoughts she finds herself escorted to a car and hustled to a hotel.
Excited and nervous at the same time , a one night stand with a stranger not being her norm , starts off well but quickly turns to her running from the hotel room, leaving Score to wonder why?
Score aka( Chase Stryker) very handsome son of a politician, hence the alias , since his dad is running for governor ; if anyone found out what he did on the side outside of college it would damage his father's chances.
Chase is use to having any women , he never has a problem, he'll he was not having a problem with this one till a few minutes ago, but she ran off leaving him with a rare case of iblue balls ; saying to hell with it he heads home.
Turns out more surprises await Chase , the next morning his father informs him he is remarrying, he'll he had no idea his father was seeing anyone, then on top of that she apparently has two daughters for a previous marriage and he will be meeting them in two days. Life just keeps getting more complicated , poor chase can not get this girl who ran out on him off his mind and he'll he does not even know her name, well that is until his father shows him a picture of his future stepsisters and the older one Lina, is his mystery girl.
How does me handle wanting your step sister , who claims she does not want you ? Very carefully.
When these two get past fighting their attraction to one another things get hot, heavy and dam sexy quickly and the reason for her running the first time from him is revealed which just makes the big bad protector mode come out in Chase; so he just gets even sexier!
These two have challenges however, keeping their relationship a secret, keeping Chases Mma fighting a secret and dealing with Lina's issues. Will they make it? Can they keep their secrets? Willis father win the election? Will they get an HEA ? Guess you will just have to pick this one up to read and find out!

And score you can, with this sexy and fun story. Illegal fights, politics, a forbidden relationship, and a sweet romance that makes your blood run hotter.
I had a great time reading this story co-written between Caitlin Daire and Alyssa Alpha. With a light tone, it starts off really strongly when Lina meets a mysterious fighter at an illegal match. Beyond the insanely hot chemistry, soon the plot twists start popping up. For one, it's the impending marriage of their parents. Yet there's much more. The threat from the media finding out about the fights, the nagging secret lurking in the shadows of Lina's mind, why Chase fights.
When the drama unfolded, it was non-stop. It was exactly what I wanted. A furious Chase, mayhem and bloody fists, character growth, sexy scenes to pair up with the really sweet ones, stormy politics, and the most wonderfully funny and romantic epilogue ever. By the way, Lina's secret, even to herself, was quite intense! And I loved Chase all throughout the story.
I think this joining of forces by the two authors has been worth it. I had fun, I smiled, I got hot and bothered. Good enough for me! ;o)

Chase Stryker has two identities – he is the politician’s son by day and at night—then he is Score, the underground MMA fighting champion. He keeps the two separate so they do not cross. That is how things are and how he plans to keep them …until Lina Diaz comes along and shakes things up. Who is she? She is his soon to be step sister. They had immediate chemistry but because she knows his secret, he isn’t sure how to take her. They play a dangerous game and as they continue to dance around each other, there are some twists and turns in the story. The flow is good and I enjoyed Chase and Lina’s love story and HEA. Chase is defiantly an ALPHA male who is hot and dominate while Lina is innocent and sweet who is easily corruptible and I loved watching how they feel in love and each brought something into each other’s lives. I also enjoyed getting to know their family members and friends in this story. I cannot wait to read another story from these authors.

Seriously this was an amazing read. I can easily see it becoming one of my favorites. I love love loved it!
Chase is a politicians son and an underground fighter. He always wins and he can have any girl he wants. Lina is a waitress' daughter who is giving up college to help pay the bills. They come from very different worlds but they are perfect together.
Clearly this is a stepbrother romance, which if you're into that, you've probably read in the past. Usually they are filled with angst and complete dislike that is really sexual tension. This story is different and it made it all the better, in my opinion. Their lives intertwine and they don't just always hate each other. Lina's little sister Lily is a huge factor in that but even so, there is just a huge level of acceptance. Some previous step-romances that I have read have huge fights with the parents and I was expecting it to be worse with the public opinion involved in a gubernatorial election but the opposite was true. There was an unprecedented level of acceptance, for other issues as well. That made me very happy.
Caitlin and Alyssa work amazing together, one writing style moving seamlessly into the next and back again. It was beautifully done! They also did an amazing job with the story. If I were going to describe this book in one word it would be INTENSE! From the first page, they evoke deep emotional attachment and pull you into the story.
I just really loved it. It was amazingly well written and I will definitely be reading it again soon. I would love to read a sequel or like a little chapter of them down the road. Chase and Lina were wonderful and I would love to see them again.

I love Caitlin Daire's stepbrother romances! She's never let me down on a story and this one is no different! Only this time she teamed up with Alyssa Alpha to make the story like ten times hotter! Chase Stryker's a super sexy politician's son living a secret life of an illegal underground fighter. Lina's a Latina with a knockout body who's about to turn Chase's life upside down. After a failed night of passion between the two, fate throws them back together but in a way they didn't expect. The two are about to become step siblings but their hots for each other haven't went away. But it seems like every time they act on it Lina runs away in fright. Chase can't figure out her hot and cold attitude. Until Lina makes a trip to the gym with Chase and his cousin Tripp and the horrible secret comes out. Now that was a twist in the story I NEVER ever seen coming! Just when the couple makes plans to reveal themselves they're outed by Lily's little sister at their parents wedding no less!! This is probably one of my favorites by Daire! And I've never read any of Alyssa Alpha's work, but after this I'll definitely be checking it out after this. Random thoughts...
I'm generally not a fan of MMA in real life, but I think it definitely works in literature and I loved that aspect of it in this story.
Score's "you're coming with me" attitude is completely arrogant and a little domineering... which completely works, but then makes me realize that he probably does this at least after every match with random girls and makes me feel skeezy. Then again, if I had the opportunity to get with my celebrity crush (not that that's what Score was) I'd probably jump on it... or him, lol! ;P
I could tell right from the beginning in that hotel room that something had happened to Lina in the past, and I'm surprised that it took that long for her to realize it too.
Life styles of the rich and the famous, indeed... It amazes me how incredibly different life can be for two people. Frankly, while having all that money would be amazing, I don't think it's worth it for all the drama that goes along with it. The reporters, snobby rich people (although, if you're actually one of them I doubt you'd recognize it, lol), the reporters, backstabbing, the reporters, life in a fish bowl, the reporters... sensing a common theme here? I don't like reporters and make no apologies!

Well-written, Sweet, Sensual (and Well-edited!)
Kudos to this writing team for making this overused 'stepbrother' theme a wonderful, positive read. Although there is plenty of angst, it is surrounded by the strength of characters who deal with it honestly and with integrity and maturity. This alone is SUCH a departure from so many of the Young Adult stories, especially stepbrother stories, I've read recently.
This book actually contains three full stories, but this review is only about SCORE. Before I start the next story, however, I wanted to commend the authors for their talent. I'm a voracious reader who enjoys an erotic romance without all the juvenile TSTL-style of angst. I also VERY MUCH appreciate the well-written prose without the distraction (and irritation) of having to constantly edit as I read.
I'm not going to go over the plotline because the blurb already does that. I will say that the storyline was great, the main characters were likeable and consistent and had real-life reactions to events, and the wrap up was excellent. (I'm never totally satisfied with a story unless there is a good epilogue.)

I think this may be my favorite overall story by Caitlin Daire. From beginning to end it was an engaging, romantic story. Neither of the characters were too exaggerated to the point it was annoying. The twist was well done and surprising. I was very glad it wasn't what I expected though. The whole time I was reading The only thing that bugged me is the fact that in the last few books of Daire's I've read

The main characters grew through the story and I liked both, however I also found the minor charatures input in this book to be interesting to read about.
Not everyone in this world is nice, sometimes people try to belittle others to make themselves feel more powerful or they think they are better than you. They are no more than bullies and you need to stand up to them.
All in all the characters were well written. Loved the mom and came round to the dad as well the little sister was cute even with her faux pas.
I don't like spoilers in a review.

I really enjoyed this stepbrother romance.
Chase wasn't the man-whore that he led us to believe he was. He turned out to be sweet and he took care of those that he loved. His secret was that he was Score an underground cage fighter.
Lena ended up at an underground cage fight because of her friends but once she saw Score the sparks flew.
Lena went through an unbelievable ugly event that she has blocked out however things are starting to trigger the memory. Once the full memory comes back she is able to tell Chase. He not only beats the crap out of the person that person goes to prison. I was glad that there was closure on that part of the story.
Their story isn't easy by any means but getting to the HEA was sweet.

You won't be disappointed when you start turning the pages of this superbly written book. Chase & Lina - what great characters. They truly are each other's ying and yang. Perfectly complimenting the story. Her mum / his dad. A political race, illegal fighting, undaunted love. I love the pace of this book, the writers have ensured that the reader isn't given a moment yo lose interest. All sub-characters are described in detail so their reoccurring presence adds to the depth of the book. Never quite sure what will happen but you are rooting for this couple & their family. Humour, cheeky, hot sex & a 5* score! (Haha get me)

4 stars. Chase sees Lina at an illegal fight and immediately wants her. Lima has issues she is not sure where they stem from and ends up running from Chase. The two soon discover their parents are soon to marry and a relationship blossoms with both hiding their feelings as they could really hurt their family if it comes to light. This started off with a little eye roll and a here we go again arrogant tough guy goes after sweet girl. This story turned out to be so much more with an endearing romance and a really great and satisfying epilogue. Recommended read

All inked bad boy step-brothers who finally realize that their lives have to change with that one blushing step-sister in their sights. Some interesting themes, maybe one good plot twist, but mostly cliches in overall lame wiriting. Everything was superficial, wishy-washy, even repetetive in vocab. I didn't feel one of the emotions they wrote about sink in, except for the fun parts, those were okay.

Arc received in exchange for an honest review... I thought this story was very well written. I loved all the characters. I enjoyed watching the main characters fall in love I felt the connection right from the start. I couldn't put this book down I was hooked right from the first page. This book will not disappoint, definitely a must read..!

Got this as an arc for an honest review. Really enjoyed the story. Tho must admit I hated Chase in the beginning. And couldn't help but root for Lina since the first few pages. Then some dark secrets arise to complicate things. An enjoyable read & I highly recommend snagging this one.
