#Noelle I love him enough to let go. I hope Beau doesn’t take this the wrong way. I just want him to think about the words I’m about to say. I’m pregnant with another man’s child. A fact we seem to forget when we get caught up in our own little universe. I will start to show pretty soon and I don’t want to worry about a reporter popping out of the bushes every time we are together…I think we should end things now before I get hurt in the crossfire of his lifestyle. I have to concentrate on having a healthy baby and being the best mother I can to my baby. #Beau I will never let her go. Ever. I hold Noelle tight and squeeze her like I never want to let her go. I don’t give a damn if she’s pregnant by another man. Her baby is a part of her, and I will love every part of her. I will be there for her baby in a way that that sorry excuse of a man, Victor, could never man up to be. I love Noelle and her unborn child. I have no qualms about being with her forever, and I didn’t even believe in long-lasting relationships before Noelle. Now that she’s my woman, I don’t ever want to hear her talk about leaving me, ever again.
What would you do if the man you loved threw you out into the night, after you told him you were carrying his child? Would you fight for the love you once had, or walk away and begin to pick up the pieces of your life? Luckily for Noelle Winters, the meeting of a stranger puts her in the right place at the right time to take her out the cold and into the warmth of Rockstar Beau Barringer’s heart. The question is, will this unlikely connection survive color lines, distrust and the skeletons from the past.
Theresa Hodge is an Alabama native - loving mother, sister, aunt and friend. She is at her best when she is able to bring happiness to others. This author loves to read almost as much as she loves to write fictional stories. She finds writing therapeutic at times, especially during the loss of her oldest sister from breast cancer, which birthed her "Ask Me Again" Series. This was her first but this compilation led to her writing several other books. These book's includes her bestselling Noelle's Rock series among many others.
Additionally, Theresa has a love affair with poetry. She began writing poetry at an early age and it served as a catalyst for her growth as a writer.
If Theresa can bring a smile to your face and encourage someone else along her journey, she considers it a blessing beyond measure.
Wow this was like a Cinderella love story as Beau sweeps Noelle off her feet after she has been let down by her ex boyfriend and she is carrying her ex's child.
Then Beau does the unthinkable and lets us all down and causes Noelle to doubt their love. I have to admit I was so disappointed when the book ends there.
We now have to wait for book 2 to find out if he can save their relationship.
I a person name Noelle sure having it rough, from her parents to her first love and now her new man. Noelle is insecure and she has trust issues. She has been hurt so much by the people she loves the most. So now that she has a new man Baue, she can't trust him, cause he started off with a lie . I enjoyed the story and can't wait to read what will happen next.
Not well written. Some writers of this genre seem not to have studied English in school. It was a chore reading, but I totally threw it aside when I read that the heroine graduated from NYU only to be a receptionist. I was done. This is another pet peeve that I have with this genre. Why are so many heroines maids, waitresses, unemployed, strippers or teachers? Where are the cops, detectives, lawyers, doctors, pilots, astronauts, businesswomen, scientists, coders, accountants, VPs actors, ballerinas, athletes, photographers, graphic artists, architect, etc. Elevate your games people.
Familiar plot line. Noelle discovers that her live-in boyfriend is not on the same page and she runs away and gets stranded in a snow storm. She's able to find refuge at a nearby house, but the occupant isn't open to having unannounced, uninvited strangers in his home. He reluctantly lets her in to call a tow truck and she finds out she has to spend the night.
What Noelle doesn't know that he's a Rock Star taking a break from stardom. They, of course are attracted to one another and things get heated very quickly. Noelle has a secret that she reveals to Beau, which doesn't phase him at all. Is Beau the man of her dreams or nightmares?
I liked this book though it ended on an angst filled cliffhanger. The author did indicate at the end of the book that Part 2 would be released on November 12. The author released Part 2 at the end of October, so she gets kudos for exceeding her fans expectations on delivery.
Lastly, I loved the book cover, the male model has a great face and together they make a cute couple.
Good Read, BUT- I can't catch a break these days. Every book seems to tell the same story, without separating itself from the rest of the pack. This was sweet, with good chemistry between the H & h, but I'm pissed that there is a second book to read. As if the story couldn't have concluded with this book.
I like the storyline. Some of the wording needs to be addressed. Some of the things they say don't sound like what normal person would say. At times it felt like they were acting or putting on a performance in the book. It started getting better toward the end. Pretty much want to kick Beau's butt.
Should have waited until November to read this book. Now I have to wait impatiently for part 2! I truly like the characters and I'm glad they are not too over the top. Until November ...sigh
A warning that a book has a cliffhanger ending is appreciated. I don't like them and feel cheated. I did not like either Noelle nor Beau. Both are weak, selfish, and morally lacking characters. Will not be reading the next book.
It was such a captivating and poignant Read. Noelle was betrayed by her boyfriend yet he left her and the revelation about her pregnancy not only shattered her but also gave her hope in the darkness. She was ready to raise her baby alone but she bumped into Berry, the rockstar.
But it was such a predicament for her, Berry lied to her, her boyfriend left her for another woman and she is carrying a baby. Will she give her baby the life it deserves? Will she give another chance to Berry? Will her friend support her? I did not like the thing that she forgave her ex but sometimes the only way to live peacefully is forgive and forget. The author has written it very well, the dialogues were clear and there were dual pov and I loved the bond between them.
First I am a little confused about her father that passed away when she was a sophomore, but a few chapters later he's living with his new family? I'm not sure if I want these two to work out, he should have told her about Courtney and he knew she was in the audience
Aside from the racist Asian description it could have been worse. The dialogue was stilted and unrealistic. Noelle is written like a teenager filled with angst
In her book Noelle's Rock, author Theresa Hodge pairs two unlike people together. Noelle has just informed her live-in boyfriend Victor that she is pregnant with their child and Victor tells her to get and abort. An argument ensue between the couple causing Noelle to leave. Has Noelle is driving trying to clear her head and understand why the man she loves and who is suppose to love her doesn't want their child. Trying to avoid hitting a deer Noelle lands her car in a ditch as she spots a house in the distance she goes to see if they have a phone she can use. "Barry" [who is Beau Barringer - hot rock star], initial is hostile toward Noelle believing the she is a report who has encroached on his space. Even thought Beau allow Noelle in to take shelter, he still check to see if her story about her car is true, it is. Beau is attached to Noelle and one thing leads to another as these to find themselves burning up the sheets. Noelle cannot seem to get "Barry" off her mind, her friend Shelby invites her to a concert and Noelle finds out that "Barry" is Beau Barringer - hot rock star. After the concert, Shelby and Noelle are backstage and Noelle plans to give "Barry" a piece of her mind, she faints. Beau is drawn to the woman who faints backstage as she seems familiar to him. It's Noelle, he has not been able to get her off his mind. As Beau whisk Noelle away to the penthouse were they burn up the sheets again as Beau declares his love for her and claims her as his. As with every good story, there are roadblocks, in the form of Victor (who Noelle finds already has a one-year old son with an older women and he never told Noelle) and Courtney Nicks, Beau's rock star old girlfriend. Even though his band member know he loves Noelle they can see that Beau just might give in to the temptation that is Courtney Nicks! It just got REAL!!!
I am staying tuned for part 2 due out in November, I am a big believer in the power of love [yes, even for those in books] and hope that Beau and Noelle can survive the storm.
I am so team Noelle....I was so team Beau until the last page....it seemed too good to be true...a truly Cinderella storyline wrapped in the fluffy goodness of a white Christmas.....the lowlife ex Victor is lurking around...Noelle finally stands up to his b.s....Beau is the Prince charming who says and does everything right...so romantic...so handsome...so rich...sexy....then his ex enters the picture....what the actual f$@k....Beau even excepted another man's baby because he says he's in love with Noelle....I cannot wait until November 12th for the sequel....my temperature just went through the roof...damn good story.
I started this book then set it a side. I picked it back up again because I started to see my book club trend the title. I'm happy I did. Beau and Noelle so far they have or had it all. It seem a little to perfect. With out giving any thing away my question is what man would? Even the strongest still wonders if they made the right decision. So far the story to me is well written. It's time for some drama. It was starting to become predictable at times. To loving. If that makes since. I'm happy this has become a series. There is no way a story like this could've been told in one installment. Also Victor is a A** .
Omg omg 😲 😲 omg omg omg omg omg oh no!!!!!!!! No no to the hell no! A cliffhanger of all cliffhangers. I've been riveted by this amazing story. This author is amazing in how she writes her heroes. Beau is smoking hot. As I read their love scenes I was amazed at the depth of his love for Noelle. That man loves her beyond words. But I guess the path to true love never runs smoothly. Noelle is such a sweetheart. I just love her and her friendship with Shelby. She is the epitome of a true friend. Can I say I hate Victor and Courtney? 😡 Ok, *pulls myself together from this angst and ready to dive in next book
I wanted to really love this story but the immature asinine behavior is irritating to say the least. There is entirely too much sex and initially too quick between Beau & Noelle. Noelles' insecurities, whining and tears... OMG! Give it a rest..grow up and get a backbone! And Victor! I can't write what I really want to say! Ugh he is slime and in the real world I know he would have been cracked upside his numbskull! Shelby and Erick are adorable and the best friends Noelle & Beau could ask for. I'm on the fence about Beau...one minute he's swoon-worthy and the next I want to strangle him. Hope it gets better in round two.
Shame because its long enough to have a decent story. There is basically no "holiday" element to it except the chapter titles. All they do is have sex. No conflict even starts until like 2/3rds of the way thru AND its a Cliffhanger. Not an HEA standalone. Its literally says "To Be Continued" at the end. Get it if you want to still try it but get it while its free. Not really worth paying for it. Cant take a man who calls the va**na a "love haven" Yikes.
This is such a beautiful love story about two people who fall in love unexpectedly. Beaus love for Noelle seems unwavered until a pass love arises. But let's not focus on her but Beaus beautiful love for Noelle. He doesn't see her skin color just her beauty; especially since she's carrying another mans child and Beau is a rock star. But the way he loves her is what's most meaningful!
I thought this would be a good one based on the reviews. Boy, was I disappointed! The grammar was awful as well as the obvious attempt to stretch out the story by using unnecessary descriptives. I mean, how many times can you say 'sticky sweetness'? I read all three books because I actually paid for them (my bad!), and I'm no quitter. But if these books are any indication of this author's abilities, I won't purchase any more of her work.
I think we all want that type of love that Beau and Noelle have. Even though they fell for each other fast but it was real. I just hope Victor goes and stay gone. Shelby and Erick were true friends I just wonder does Noelle's mom ever thinks about her. That Courtney chick was something else I just hope she don't continue to be a problem for the couple. This was a good read and you won't be disappointed.
The synopsis caught my attention and had me interested in the book. I did like Noelle but I wanted to physically shake her at times !! There are some twists and turns in the book that had me wondering where the author was going to go. I don't want to give anything away but let's just say, you will be shocked at the end.
Excellent novel! Lovely Noelle and Beau chemistry was instant. Shelby is Noelle ride or die sister girlfriend who has her back. Don't want to give anything away to spoil this novel. Beau and Victor both better step up and do right by Noelle . Looking to read part 2 in this series.
I enjoyed this story and it was good, but I am not sure if it said that it was a continuing story. Yes part 1 was free, but it was a long story I think that could have finished up in one book. I just don't like having to buy another two books to finish the story, it's just my opinion. That said I would recommend this book to read. Thank you Theresa good job.
I didn't know that this book will have a cliffhanger. Now, I gotta wait till next month to read the ending. I love the story line and the chemistry between Beau and Noelle. I can't wait to see how it all ends.
