This year is Autumn Falls senior year at Adventura High School. All of her friends have a plan for after graduation, except for Autumn. When Autumn is struggling with trying to decide where she wants to go to college she goes to her grandma, Eddy, for help. When Eddy gives Autumn a locket that carries her dad's spirit Autumn finds out that it allows her to see the future. When Autumn doesn't like her future on her first jump, she tries everything to fix it without revealing that her locket is magical. On her 5th jump she loves the future in that jump and she tries everything to keep it that way. When she jumps again she finds out that everything she did to protect the last future she saw just ruined everything. On her last jump she loves what she see's and keeps it that way. Right before Autumn is about to jump back to reality she gets an unexpected visitor. This is honestly one of the best fantasy books i have ever read. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves fantasy with a little bit of romance. The way the author wrote this book, it makes you feel like you are actually Autumn in the story. I read this book for hours on end and lost track of time. It really is an amazing book.
Even though this book is written for a younger audience I was able to connect to everything in the book. Due to the fact my father died when I was very young as well, it was very touching to see how Autumn went through that same pain. I have read all three books in this series, and love how they came to an end. I hope Bella Thorne releases another one of when Autumn is in college. Such an inspirational read!!
I am choosing to believe that there was some terrible mistake and that the actual manuscript for Autumn's Kiss was not the one that got published, because the difference in quality between that and this is just stunning. Sequel Syndrome strikes again, fellow readers- but I for one am very happy I stuck it out through to the finale. Because this was one very enjoyable final book.
I'll start on character stuff, since that's always my big thing: A. A+, even. Not only are the diverse and layered personalities for each of our beloved characters back in this book, but they're arguably better and more fleshed out than ever! And better yet, we see different versions of just about everybody throughout. And the best part is this: they all look and act and talk like they aren't cardboard cutouts. They seem like actual people this time, and thank God for that because I was really starting to worry. Kyler Leeds is a JERK...and people recognize this fact! Hooray! JJ finally comes to his senses and actually goes through a logical character arc! HOORAY! Autumn isn't a total lovestruck ditz! HOORAY!!! Even Sean, Reenzie, Jack, Taylor, and Amelita- the whole gang, really- is written better. Extremely minor personalities like Carrie are written better. The psychologist is even written well and given his own quirks, as are Glen and Erick and Mrs. Falls and everybody else. It's beautiful, really. Not perfect, but still beautiful.
The plot is also much better in this book. Things line up as they should, most of what occurs makes sense, Autumn learns the error of her various stupid decisions as she goes and, for the most part, she makes up for them. The trips made to and from the future were all super fun to read and didn't drag like they probably could have- something interesting happened in each jump, and something meaningful did, too. There weren't very many wasted words across the 300 some-odd pages, and considering that that's the longest any book in this series has been, I call it a fine accomplishment. The subplots were handled much, MUCH better. All of them had some sort of definite resolution, too, so that's great.
Overall, everything about this ending was just really good. I liked it a lot- I may have even loved it. And, as I hoped would be the case, I'm going to miss this world. I'm going to miss these characters, and their lives. I'm going to find myself, on occasion, going back to Aventura, Florida in my head and imagining how things turned out after the last chapter was all said and done. This book redeemed all of the failures of the second, and honestly it stands, to me, as the strongest of all three volumes in the Autumn Falls trilogy. The surprise at the end was great, the way things panned out in a sensible way was great. Everything was great. I'd put out a harsher critique, but it's hard to do that when all the flaws this book has are too minuscule to really be worth mentioning.
Ultimately, 4/5. I don't think it stands as an all-time favorite, but damn it's close. Against all odds, it's really really close. So, on that note, thanks Autumn. You gave me one of the most fun (albeit sometimes frustrating) reading experiences I've had in a while. Hearing your high school story was fun, and I hope that perhaps some time we can get together again and you can tell me more stories about what life's like now- it sure was a good ride this time.
Autumn’s Wish is the third book in the Autumn Falls series, written by actress/celebrity Bella Thorne. Autumn’s father died when she was fifteen and her mother moved Autumn and her brother from Maryland to their current house in Florida. This book begins as Autumn and her friends are beginning their senior year of high school. This is a momentous year and Autumn is nervous about where life after high school will take her and her friends. In the previous two books, Autumn’s father left her a magic diary and a special dry-erase map. In this book, she receives a magic necklace that allows her to travel into the future. However, she can only “jump” 10 times. Each time she travels into the future Autumn sees something that she doesn’t like. When she returns to reality, she tries to alter the present events so that the she can change the future that she saw.
As a reader who did not read the first two books in the series, this book is readable without feeling totally lost. I enjoyed the time traveling aspect of the book and the idea of being able to see your future life. I think readers will relate to all the different feelings that senior year of high school brings, as well as the changes in various relationships (friendship, family, romantic). However, I’m not sure how much of a draw Bella Thorne’s celebrity status is for the intended audience. While the book takes place during senior year of high school, I don’t believe many high school seniors will actually read this book. My 5th grade daughter is a fan of Bella Thorne. However, I think that this book is a little mature for her, with underage drinking mentioned quite a bit. If you have the first two books in the series, you should probably add this book so readers can see how the series ends. Otherwise, this book alone isn’t a must-have.
This book was just a mess. I picked it up from the library because I wanted to know how it ended.
Honestly, the time travel aspect wasn't explained at all and there were so many problems with it. These problems were acknowledged but they were brushed off as nothing. The amount of lazy writing in this book is ridiculous.
I honestly feel like this book was written just to complete the series without actually caring about the story or the characters.
The only thing I liked about this book was seeing Autumn deal with her father's death and really come to terms with it. Otherwise, she acted so completely stupid for the rest of the book.
Overall, I didn't like this book and it was a huge disappointment to me. I don't even have much to say about it so I think I'll end this review here. I honestly can't say I recommend this series anymore even though I enjoyed the other two books more. Read this if you're a fan of Thorne but other than that there isn't much going for this book. Disappointing.
I originally read Autumn Falls in late 2016 [hopefully my memory is horrible], and I found the book charming but not very memorable. Later, I became a bigger fan of Bella Thorne but forgot to return to reading the trilogy]. I checked the book out back in mid-October, but I didn't manage to start reading the book until November 7th. It's a short and sweet story toying with the idea of seeing the future and having the possibility to change it, but also revealing the consequences. The story isn't exactly the most memorable or realistic, but it's honest and shows the troubles of trying to fix everything but ruining everything in the end. The ending was a bittersweet wrapup for the trilogy, and I love that Autumn grows as a character and as a human being. She learns to let go of her past and find out whom she really needs in her life. I love that Autumn Falls is quirky and awkward, but with an honest and good heart. Her heart has always been in the right place, even when she does screw up everything.
I really didn't expect to enjoy this series as much as I did. I wanted to read it to see if writing was one of Ms. Thorne's talents. I have to say, that I was pleased with the outcome. I loved that the story had more to it than a simple teenage love story. There was loss, and lessons to be learned. Themes of starting over, and moving on were dominant in this last book especially. And to top it all off, there was that little touch of magic that made it all that much more fun and interesting to read.
This third, and final book in the series was just about as perfect an ending as I could have asked for. Things that you would want answers to, you got, but still left enough to the imagination that it didn't feel like everything was tied up TOO neatly. I hope Bella Thorne decides to give us some more of her imagination in the future.
This is the final book in the Autumn Falls series and I loved it, just like the other ones. I wasn't sure if this was going to be a good series since it was by a celeb but I was surprised and I found it cool, how Bella Thorne took things from her life and put them into Autumn's series. For example they both have orange hair and are both dyslexic.
Autumn found a magic locket that could take her into the future and the locket was from her dead Dad, who died in the first book. She only had 10 jumps so when she set the time in the future on the locket she saw some things, she didn't like and tried to change them. Autumn's grandma helped her figure that you can't change the future by pushing mountains, but just stay true to yourself.

This is my favorite book compared to the other the other's in the series. I love that Autumn finally falls in love with J.J. The first jump that she takes is good all for Sean's cheating, Carrie getting perg., and Autumn being super skinny. But you can't forget Ames drinking problem. The more jumps she takes, the more things change in the future-for the better or worst. But eventually everything OK, that is for know thought.
Autumn Falls is a girl just like any other if not s bit more on the klutzy side and prone to disaster! She makes terrible mistakes but in the end Autumn grows and learns from her mistakes. Autumn’s wish will make you cringe, want to reach through the book and shake her, but it will also make you laugh and feel heart warmed by the end. It’s a wild ride of s normal teenage girl with a little bit of magic to make things...interesting.

This was the best Autumn Falls book of them all. It still wasn't amazing, and I'm a little happy this series is over. The other two books didn't satisfy me because no matter what, all Autumn did with the objects her dad sent was ruin her life. This one, I feel, she fixed everything and it turned out good. A nice ending to a not-so-great series, I wouldn't recommend it, though.
I'm sad to see the series' end,but I'm glad I got to read it! For me,the time travel aspects of the novel provided the fantasy elements I was looking for, while the other elements of the plot added some realistic drama. Overall, this series proves to me that sometimes book-wise you have to take a detour from your go-to to try something new.
The world of Autumn Falls is full of social interactions and she always tries to make everything better for her little bubble of friends. Add a little time travel and you have a very amusing mix that will keep you reading. I made a mistake and read the 3rd book before the 2nd, IDK. :-) But i will still read the second book even when i know already how it all will end.
Autumn's Wish by Bella Thorne, is an amazing realistic fiction book. It goes through issues that Autumn's faces with school in her senior year. Autumn deals with her father's death, college SAT, and people in her school.
Another well done book by Ms Thorne. After researching the author and finding out about her less than enjoyable experiences growing up, I find it amazing she has constructed such welll written novels. Much success to her. It was a fitting end to the Autumn Falls novels.
This book was okay, it just felt a little too light and fluffy for them being in high school. It was good when the chapters changed because some chapters kind of leave you on a cliff-hanger, and that's what really hooks me into reading more chapters.
I loved everything about this book, the character, the settings, the ideas and the story! I cruised through this book and the next 2. They would just grasp you so you wanted to read more and more and become friends with the ones in the books~!
This was such a great ending to the trilogy and just as good as the first book. A lighthearted story about romance, forgiveness, and the bonds between friends and family, this is the perfect book for anyone looking for a quick, romantic read:)
AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!! I LOVED THIS!!! the ending was great,i didn't expect it tbh,but it was great. Although when autumn kept going in the fututre then coming back to change things it was like mad irritating at times, but it was still good
3rd times the charm (as in this is the 3rd time I've tried to finish the book) this was bad and never has there been a character so dumb and making bad decisions that actively harm the people around her the whole time that still gets a happy ending
I absolutely loved this book!!! I was sooo sad when I finished it because it was that good. I liked the concept, and how I related so easily to it. I can't wait to read the first two books!!
This book is amazing because it shows that you can’t always change things for the better, but you can make the people around you happy. Hope you enjoy the book!!
It was an inspirational book about how sometimes you should things just happen.'Cause most of the time you can't control it. Book cover: Autumn's Wish author:Bella Thorne
