A band of Gnurls hunts for Tamyth, seeking the surviving Kitchak from the recent raid on their nursery camp. An officer of the Kristhyan National Army too pursues the young Kitchak, in search of the remaining criminal from the theft of The Book of the Banished. Tamyth is captured. His life is forever changed. Friendship is found in the most unlikely of places. And a voyage is made to the ancient home of the Kitchaks: Westerly. But legend tells of horrible monsters on that sinking island, and soon it is clear that the stories surrounding Westerly are very true indeed. It will take all of Tamyth's courage if he is to face the Vlaska.
This is the second book in the Tamyth Trilogy. Book Three, 'Tamyth: Return to Rythka' is available now.
I am extremely privileged to have spent a great deal of time reading, traveling, and being outside, all of which have cultivated my imagination and desire to write novels. Currently I spend the majority of my time receiving cancer treatment in New York City, but the countryside near Corning, NY is my other home for now. My interest in fantasy novels began when my older brother read "The Hobbit" aloud to me at a very young age.
Great followup to the first book. Tamyth learns more about both races and how they became enemies, not at all like he was taught. A great war is on the horizon. How can his "new" friendships help save both races?
