Jeb! and the Bush Crime Family: The Inside Story of an American Dynasty

Rate this book
"This book is very tough." - President Donald Trump

Jeb and the Bush Crime Family is the book that smashes through the layers of lies and secrecy that has surrounded and protected our country's very own political dynasty.

New York Times bestselling author and legendary political insider, Roger Stone lashes out with a blistering indictment that exposes the true history and monumental hypocrisy of the Bushes. In his usual “go for the jugular” style, Stone collaborates with Saint John Hunt—author, musician, and son of legendary CIA operative E. Howard Hunt—to make this a “no-holds-barred” history of the Bush family.

The authors reveal Jeb to be a smug, entitled autocrat who both uses and hides behind his famous name as he mingles with international drug peddlers. They show how Jeb:

Received a $4 million taxpayer bailout when his daddy was Vice President
Used his insider status to make millions from Obamacare
Avoided criminal prosecution on a fraudulent Federal loan
Hypocritically supports the War on Drugs, despite his own shocking drug history

After detailing the vast litany of Jeb’s misdeeds, Stone travels back to Samuel, Prescott, George H. W., and George W. Bush to weave an epic story of privilege, greed, corruption, drug profiteering, assassination, and lies. Jeb and the Bush Crime Family will have you asking, “Why aren't these people in prison?”

A veteran of eight national presidential campaigns, Stone would spend hours talking politics with Nixon as confidant and adviser in his post-presidential years. Stone is known for his hardball tactics, deep opposition research, biting candor, and love of English custom tailoring. Stone serves as mens fashion correspondent for the Daily Caller.

Roger Stone, Republican political strategist, consultant
and DC lobbyist served as co-writer. The downside: he
worked for a lobbying firm that employed Paul Manafort.
Stone equally insulted the Bush Dynasty, Bill & HRC,
LBJ and Obama. He praised Ronald Reagan.

Alleged illegal & unethical acts by the Bush family----

1) Samuel P. Bush (great grandfather).
He helped supply munitions to opposing sides during WW1,
could have been charged w/ treason, but wasn't, under the
1917 Trading with The Enemy Act. His partner, in shipping
the war supplies, Brown Brothers' ancestor, had been in-
volved in US slave trading.

2) Prescott Bush (grandfather). US Senator.
Met Hitler & Mussolini @ League of Nations. Prescott (Press)
helped set up Nazi banking system, fund it & found donors &
hid this from the US. Rockefeller favored giving Hitler $10M
but Hitler insisted on $500M instead (Hitler didn't get this
amount.) Press became associated w/ Auschwitz a 'free
labor' steel mill camp where Press made money & workers
were underfed, overworked & died. He joined US Eugenics
Society which favored forced sterilization of those perceived
undesirable.

3) Neither Sam nor Prescott rec'd punishment for treason,
Press however was humiliated & had his property seized and
his funds in UBC. One of the so-called rationales for funding
Nazis: most Bush men graduated from Yale Univ, + became
secret Skull and Bones Society members. Reportedly Skull a
nd Bones originated in Berlin.

4) George H.W. "Poppy" Bush. 41st President of US.
During WW2, US Naval aviators required 2 yrs of college
before acceptance and training. They waived this for George
who entered the Navy at age 18, just after prep school. Geo.
had a Navy bombing run, he later recounted a fire in the
cockpit & he parachuted out. The other 3 men on the plane
were left to die. George gave conflicting accounts. One Navy
man in a nearby plane saw the truth, no fire. George became
the chair of the RNC under Nixon, raised funds, had those
funds sent to a Mexican bk & "laundered" then sent to a US
bank for use by Nixon for his dirty trick "Plumbers."
Allegedly Poppy & the CIA had a nationwide pedophile
network in the 1980s-early 1990s to trap politicians/ others
in sex w/ minor aged children, in order to blackmail the
men, to carry out their orders.

5) Geo. SR. and his son Jeb: both involved in Iran-Contra
scandal, neither charged with treason, neither forced to
testify. Geo. blamed the planning/ execution on Lt. Oliver
North. Per Stone, since Pres.Ronald Reagan had memory
issues, George as Vice President ran a "shadow cabinet"
where Geo. mostly called the shots.

6) George W Bush, (son of Geo) 43rd President of US.
Unsuccessful oilman W. received an influx of cash via his
Daddy's rich US and Saudi friends. W dumped his oil co.
stock before the co. folded. W stood accused of "insider
trading." W kept 'banker's hours' as POTUS & started 2
US wars & mismanaged Hurricane Katrina aftermath
(people w/o food/ shelter/ meds.) The feds, state & local
governments received criticism for poor pre-planning,
poor coordination, poor rescue & poor linkage to basic
needs of Katrina victims. FEMA's director had served as
a former horse ranch mgr- easy to see he was the man
w/ the background for the job?!!!

After 911, W allowed 400+ Saudi families to leave the US
within 24 hrs, w/o being interviewed by the FBI. This in-
cluded Royals & Bin Laden fam members. Saudis comprised
14 of the 19 terrorists who intentionally crashed planes
in NYC, DC & PA.

7) Marvin Bush, (son of Geo.& bro of W)
His company handled security for the World Trade Center,
Dulles airport, & the military services. I'm unclear if this
included the Pentagon?

8) Jeb Bush (son of Geo. & bro of W) frmr Florida Governor.
Jeb reportedly served as a "non official cover" in banking
for the CIA & became buds w/ drug kingpin Pablo Escobar.
Jeb contributed to the 2008 US recession, which resulted
in an international economic crisis. Jeb & 2 others in the
Governor's office invested state teacher, firefighters, etc
pensions in Lehman Brothers which used toxic mortgage
backed securities. Whereby a family often didn't have to
prove monthly income/ expenses or debts, on a mortgage
applic & would default on the loan. Making the often
bundled securities fall like dominoes. Jeb financially
benefitted from Lehman Bros, which eventually merged
w/ another firm. Conflict of interest. Illegal?

Please Note-
The implication was George SR. was active with the CIA
before he became Director of the CIA.

One inaccuracy by Stone, who claimed the "Plumbers"
were caught @the Watergate complex w/ cash that Geo.
SR. raised as RNC chair. Watergate occurred in June 1972,
& Geo. SR did not become head of the RNC until Jan. 1973.

IF only 1/10th of these allegations are true, it is frightening
to think these behaviors went unchecked.

I do not use this word lightly or very often but the Bush family is truly evil. Dating back to Prescott and his dealing with and complete support for the Nazi's. Later George HW was behind most nefarious actions of the Reagan administration and his son W was even worse than what we saw in public. My favorite quote was by Leola McConnell a DC "Muscle Dominatrix", whatever the hell that is. She said, "In 1984 I watched George W. Bush enthusiastically and expertly perform a homosexual act on another man, one Victor Ashe." Oddly enough, this young lady disappeared a few months before she was set to release her book and then a few months after that Deborah Jeane Palfrey, the DC madam "committed suicide". I could go on for hours with shocking tales from these multi-generational sociopaths involving longstanding CIA and OSS ties, assassinations, cover-ups, wars, Patriot Acts and inside jobs but mayhap you should just read the book. One of the worst stories though happened in the year of our Lord 2000 when Bush insiders wrote A New American Century calling for a Pearl Harbor type event so there would be an excuse to invade Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Lybia and North Korea. One year later they conveniently got their Pearl Harbor with 9/11 and have thus succeeded in invading most of these countries and are still trying to manufacture consent for war with Russia and North Korea. And if we have learned anything from the Obama administration it's that there is virtually no difference between establishment Republicans and Democrats.

Enjoyed the crazy aspects of the Bush family although the book doesn't seem to focus on Jeb. Lower rating for the lack of organization through certain chapters and way too many typos.

I will try to hide spoilers for this book, but that will not be easy to do. The book is so full of quotable gems that to repeat them may be giving too much away.

To write a summary of Stone's and Hunt's massive tome would not only be a daunting task but perhaps even a disservice for reasons mentioned above. The cover flaps of this book, like most others, perform this task and do so to such a sketchy degree that it seems like water-skiing across the top of such a comprehensive subject. Writing a review often requires some water-skiing -- as does, in these cases when a considerable amount of historical facts must be covered, writing the actual book itself -- but it is the scuba diving that allows the author, and reviewer -- to a much lesser degree -- to examine and share the important details.

In Stone and Hunt's case, the scuba diving begins with Jeb Bush, the latest in the multi-generational dynasty, seeking to maintain a vice grip on the nation. This initial emphasis, however, as well as the title of this work, may be misleading since the focus does not linger on the former governor of Florida but expands to cover, for the majority of its length, more than a century of the Bush deeds, cover-ups, influence, and white-washed reputations.

It is the white=washing of history that prompted Stone to pen this work, emphasizing Jeb's undisclosed activities because at the time of this writing, Jeb was still a contender for presidency of what had once been the greatest democracy on the planet. This and his passionate desire (or need) to download what his insider knowledge and stored within him urged him to share this task with the son of E. Howard Hunt and Dorothy Hunt, author Saint John Hunt.

They start the water-skiing with the announcement that Bush '41 and Bush '43 are responsible for 72% of our massive federal debt. Scuba diving reveals that George W. Bush (or W) doubled the US's debt from five trillion to over eleven trillion. Jeb doubled the debt of Florida from seventeen+ billion to over thirty-six billion. Jeb even seemed to stumble over his own tongue more than his older brother. Some of his statements are shocking but must be read in the context of this work.

Samuel Bush started this dynasty (he provided 75% of World War I arms to both sides), and Prescott Bush continued it (engaging in acts of treason by aligning self with the Nazis). The rules that governed the US did not apply to them. H.W. Bush (Poppy) supposedly wanted to distance himself from his "birthright" but still relied on father's connections. For one thing, he became a landman who conned unknowing farmers out of their land if oil might be found on it. His CIA connections are important because they show the connection between the intelligence community and big business. He also promised no new taxes in order to become elected (hahaha).

H.W. was also allegedly associated with eugenics activities or world population control, emphasizing developing countries because of limited US interests. He enlisted aid from the Saudis for covert operation that Congress refused to fund. He buried lies, stated outright falsehoods, denials, and obfuscations. Pilots and CIA assets during Iran-Contra supposedly committed suicide before disclosing important information (How can a person commit suicide by emptying a 20-round clip into his own body?). National and international law was ignored or subverted.

The No Child Left Behind ruse was W. idea to give more power to the government (and away from schools and parents) and generate extortion money amounting to tens of millions of dollars. Brother Neil charged $10,000 per school for software or $30 per student for test-preparation programs. Twenty-four hours after 9-11, members of the Bin Laden family were flown out of the country. Again, we have conflicting reports. The FBI denied this, but this was later confirmed. The Patriot Act was passed with little notice by politicians (only few read it) to monitor our own people (us), and the War of Terror became an excuse to toss the Constitution out of the window.

The authors quote Russ Baker's work FAMILY OF SECRETS (which I previously reviewed) quite often throughout. However, this book, written by insiders rather than a journalist (even though Baker is obviously respected) exudes more heat than Baker's well-written water-skiing work, more passion exploding on the page due to frustration at lies and untruths kept hidden by cover-ups.

If you question the needs of the authors to vent or to open the long=closed gates that have kept out the common person, ask yourself what you would do. Would you allow a medieval system that exploited but relied upon the support of the masses to continue? Read the book and made notes as I did. When your notes become frustratingly lengthy, you'll understand.

As I was reading this book, I felt my brows raise ever higher in complete and utter astonishment. I heard stories about the rich and connected getting away with murder, but did't quite believe it. Well, here is the proof in black and white. There really are two sets of laws, one for the normal person and and for the connected elite.

This book opens your eyes as a reader. I have to admit I am very surprised that the author managed to publish this book. I would have thought that the Bush family would have fought tooth and nail to prevent this information to be viewed. I take my hat off to the dedication of people like Roger Stone who have the courage to step forward and inform the public of the wrongs of the powerful elite.

And the age old addage comes to mind... Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely. - Lord Acton

No wonder the world is in the state it is in, when you have immoral people in power.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read and review this book.

Very hard to rate this book. The high rating is for content. The author shows the diverse connections of the Bush family starting with Samuel Bush - grandfather of George Herbert Walker Bush. As the connections (financial and personal) grow, it becomes clear as to the motivations and reasons for the actions of the Bush family.

But there are some serious flaws. First off, the book was obviously rushed to print - it is poorly edited, at times repetitive, and there are obvious errors. In addition, I think some accusations could have been left out - they regard personal proclivities and add little to the overall story.

As flawed as the book is, I highly recommend this book to anyone who wishes a better understanding of this country's history over the last half century.

This is the second Roger Stone book I've read, the other one being about the Case Against LBJ as being behind the John Kennedy assignation. I actually enjoyed that book more.

In this book, Stone seems to have a vendetta against the Bush family. Stone is a former political operative, and he makes all sorts of claims that seem to make them really look like criminals, even though many times his comments seems more like assertions than actual logical thinking.

That said, the book has value. It probably is valid in most cases discussed, and points to the overall view of the shadow government controlled by the power elite sector. Beleivable.

I enjoyed reading this book

I enjoyed reading this book. Confirmed impression that most politicians are world class criminals. Need to limit all federal elected positions to one six year term.

Poorly argued polemic about the Bush family with some points of genuine interest.

Examples of poor/badly sourced arguments:

The 'Bush Family Nazi Connection' - Guilt by association argument. Based entirely on the fact that Prescott Bush associated with the Thyssen corporation and the heir to the Thyssen corporation - Fritz Thyssen - was one of a very few major industrial donors to the NSDAP during the 1920s/1930s and whose claims to have 'mainly funded Hitler' are entirely based on the fake 'I Paid Hitler' Thyssen memoir that was largely ghost written by Winston Churchill's former literary agent/assistant during the Second World War. This is debunked by - for example - Henry Ashby Turner's 'German Big Business and the Rise of Hitler' and Cris Whetton's 'Hitler's Fortune'.

The Invasion of Iraq Narrative - Largely leaves out the well-documented Israeli connection that has been extensively documented by policy analysts like Grant F. Smith, Michael Schneur etc. This is because Stone is trying to attack the Republican establishment but not the people behind the Republican (as well as the Democrat) establishment (the Israel Lobby) etc.

What is good about the book?

It gives you an idea of how ridiculous and anti-American the Bush administrations were and brings together a lot of different information for those who don't read a lot nor have the time to dig into the issues in significant detail.

For some reason I thought this was going to be mostly about Jeb, but only a little of it was about Jeb, most of it was about the Bush family as a whole. What stood out to me was Bush Sr's physical discipline. I never even thought about how a politician's physical discipline was even a thing, but it made sense as Roger Stone put it, how Bush Sr was able to stick to a very long and intense political campaign, which led to some of his success. I mean, think about it, wouldn't you be exhausted to the hilt constantly traveling and talking to people at galas and giving speeches? One must be very dedicated and disciplined to do such a thing. Also, the Bush family got rich selling weapons to Nazis.

Jeb! and the Bush Crime Family will destroy everything you thought you knew about the two former American President's and the Bush family. I was almost as shocked reading this one as I was when I read The Clinton's War On Women. I never imagined that corruption could run so deep, and I will never view the American government the same as I once did.

This book is about as biased as a book can get, but man it is funny. I have no idea if any of the claims in this book are true, but if they were, what a damning past the Bush family has.

This does repeat some, but what it lacks in organization, it makes up in information. This book is well researched and leaves out personal opinion. I cannot go into the specifics, but this book should be read by anyone who ever voted for a Bush and is thinking of voting for another Bush.
