I’ve read a few books on this topic and this one sums up the subject simply. There are also lots of of exercises to try and journal prompts for you to reflect upon.

I really liked this book. I've not really read anything like it before but I loved how it was laid out, how it expanded on lots of things we might consider common sense to explain various modes of thinking and being, and I also liked the simple yet meaningful little exercise options along the way. I think this is a nice read for anyone hoping to make sense of how their emotions work in relation to happiness and well-being, and questions about self-fulfilment and how this relates to optimism/pessimism, gratitude, and things like nutrition as well.

I hope this book will help me to expand on the things I currently do to take care of myself and view my life and achievements with the best perspective.

A brilliant little introduction to Positive Psychology and for £2 on Amazon, this was an absolute steal. I was already aware of a lot of the topics the book covers, but I seen this a confidence booster and it’s made me determined to keep doing what’s working for me. There was also lots I hadn’t come across, which I will definitely look more into.

A good introduction to Positive Psychology, but it's extremely basic. Actually studying the topic in University I can say that it barely scratches the surface, but to it's merit it does provide a pretty good blueprint.
