Now I get it. It took me 3 books, but I finally get it. All sexual interactions are actually consensual. They're just people playing out their fantasies.
And I'm still not finishing the second book. It's too crude.

Okay so this is the fifth book in this series and we all know where it’s going.
Dante and Porter decide to have some fun with the witch sitting at the bar alone on Halloween. This is dark and dirty and while we know how it’s going to end it’s a rough ride getting there.
There’s two more books so I’m going to finish this series but personally I prefer their slightly sweeter reads. Even knowing how this will end and that the “twist” will give the required HEA I still need a touch of romance.

I just have a hard time giving it stars that would rank it up against books where authors actually put some work into a story. I first read Taking What's Wicked as part of Halloween Treats and I enjoyed it so much I bought the two Forced Submission bundles.

This is sexy. And dirty. Definitely dirty. The twists in this book were absolutely delightful. (See how incoherent I am? Yeah, it was that good.)
There are two stories in this novel, since there's a "bonus book" included. The first story may come off as nasty shit at first, and yes, I almost DNF-ed this because of that, but PLEASE FINISH IT . REALLY. TRUST ME.
Sabrina's story was just okay for me, though. This 4-star rating is really because of the bonus book. My God, how I loved Valentina and Archer. They're both a couple of sick motherfuckers, and I just can't get enough of them. It was so freaking amusing to read their story through each other's POV. Damn.
Overall, I loved Taking What's Wicked. But I have to warn you: It's not for the faint of heart, and you have to know what you're getting yourself into before you start this wild and deliciously filthy erotica.

Hands down. Alexa Riley is freaking brave to keep writing this kind of stories. But then again, the series called "Forced Submission" so.. What do you expect? Loved it, though not my favorite. Will read more from this amazingly wicked author!
