Rate this book
All children, except one, grow up. These words take on a whole new meaning in this visceral, modern-day interpretation of J.M. Barrie's classic tale; a story about what it is to be free, what it is to be loved, and where such things fall when measured against the need to survive. Wendy Darling is afraid, at school and at home. She’s afraid of the storm out her window, of losing her brother to a terminal illness, and of the shadowy figure that confronted her one fateful night in their nursery. How could she know she stands at the threshold of a life-changing journey, to another place…another world, with another being unique in all existence? Join Wendy as she discovers the Neverland--a world both wondrous and terrifying, beautiful and barbaric; ruled by that paradoxical boy who remains one of the greatest characters in all fiction, presented as never brutal, tragic…and free. He is Pan.

Awesome book but teens and up.

I loved this book. Packed with adventures and mystery. It kept me reading and wanting more. I recommend this book for teens and up as the content is more adult in nature. In other words this is not Walt Disney's version at all. Good luck and I hope you like it as much as me!!!!!
