I really liked this book! There were quite a few twists that I didn't see coming! The story grew more complex and the stakes are higher. I already can't wait for the next book. Five glittery stars!
I came across this series after weeks of trying to find something that would suck me in ! It starts off immediately drawing you in! Easy to love characters. Loved seeing the main characters strength build in this book . Now I just need book 3 to fix this hangover !
It had been such a large space of time since I read the 1st book that I will admit, the first 3 chapers I was playing catch up w/ trying to remember exactly what happened & who all the characters were. I wish I had reread the 1st book. Once I started to remember all the details I was happy with the pace of the book. I love how Janie evolved and matured and stopped being a victim and started acting like a hero. On the flip side I hated how Tristin went from such a strong personality to such a weak flippy personality and how he was going behind Janie's back and telling Beth things that Janie told him in confidence. I feel like he is completely untrustworthy and was annoyed by the end when she was still with him. Nate seems like such a loyal friend, I hope in the 3rd book their relationship evolves. I also look forward to finding out more about Dylan and Beth's "relationship" all that is mentioned is that Beth cheated on Tristin with Dylan but I want more details on this because Dylan seems like such a trust worthy character and Beth seems like such a backstabber.
It took awhile for me to really get into it but once I did I was in love. With the same characters and a few new ones made it better. Finally she is standing up for herself and to everyone. There is a new alpha in town....
