I was lucky enough to get a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review...
This was a fluffy short read, very sweet...Jayden, who works in I wanna say a pet store, but maybe just a fish store....fish was something he was extremely passionate about, to the point where if the person he was dating didn't "get it" then it wouldn't work out... That seemed a little excessive but... hey... we're all passionate about something right? He seemed lonely though...
Chance, an accountant who'd just attended a wedding and got attached to a fish that was used as a center piece for his table, had took it to Jayden to see what he could do to make sure it survived. He wanted to keep it... Wouldn't that make you swoon if you were someone like Jayden ? YES!
After a flirty dance back and forth between them, Jayden was excited to see Chance come back again for some....driftwood lol that ended in taking him back to his place where I gotta say... Devyn Morgan knows how to write some man on man love action! It was hot! Sadly though, Jayden forgets to get Chances number so we have a few day break where I really felt sad for Jayden.. He did seem so lonely and to really like Chance.
It didn't last long though, it all got worked out and Chance seemed to really care for Jayden as well....
And the date that Chance took him on was beyond perfect, so cute, especially for someone like Jayden.
Overall it was a very short, very sweet, cute little read. And of course, a perfect HFN, I wouldn't mind reading more about these two... but if not, it still ended with them happy and together.

A beautiful stort story of insta zing between two people when they meet. Hot scenes for them both. The authors stories are one my favourite reads as the characters are beautifully written.
Jayden worked at a fish shop, he loved them at 28 he felt sad when people didn't care for their pets.
Chance walks into his shop and Jayden goes gaga over the gorgeous man. Feeling the instant zig when they accidentally touch makes combust.

Oh my goodness, this was such an adorable read! Hooked is feel-good at its finest!
Jayden loves fish, they are his passion. He works in a small fish store and he loves what he does, giving advice, selling fish and teaching people how to care for them. He has little tolerance for those who think it's a silly hobby or that fish don't matter, even if it means he's alone.
When Chance walks into Jayden's shop holding a fish in a vase, sparks fly! Chance has come from a wedding where fish were used in the centerpieces, something both men are no ok with. Chance wants to help the fish and Jayden is the perfect man to help.
These two are, once again, absolutely adorable together! They are such sweet and caring people and I loved watching their relationship develop. There are times when Chance's job gets in the way, but seeing him learn to manage that was also sweet. Jayden became a priority in his life.
I really enjoyed this story, another great feel-good story from Devyn Morgan. Hooked is one of those books I'll go back to when I need something to put a smile on my face! I certainly would love more of Jayden and Chance, and I can't wait to see what is next!

Devyn is becoming quite a star with these short sweet interludes.
we meet jayden, working at a fish shop. not the kind we eat but the kind in aquariums. he lives and breaths fish, it's his hobby and passion. sadly he has no luck finding a partner that understands fish are a big part of his life. then one day Chase enters the shop, a fish circling around in a vase. the fact chase wants to give the fish a proper home and care is already a dozen good marks in jayden's book, that he senses some attraction is another bonus but he's afraid to take that first step.
when a few days later chase shows up again to ask a few things jayden couldn't be more happy. chase gets called away but before he actually leaves he turns back and locks lips with jayden before rushing out!
is this the start of the relationship jayden has always dreamed off? to find out you'll have to grab a copy of your own and enjoy the sweet romance these two people build.

Sweet
Short, sweet, and endearing. With only two characters, the story provides a good escape into the lives of both men. Two men are looking for the same thing, love, sex, and tenderness. They find it. And, a Betta lives happily ever after.
